๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ The King Grouper Fish Soup is my favorite stall. I always go for grouper instead of batang as both cost the same. The fish is super fresh. And the fish slices are thick too! People often mention good, shop, stall, rice, Good, Waterloo, building, shops, Singapore, chicken,

Very gd indian, malay n chinese local food. Great tasting at low prices. Must try the indian food stall for indian food lovers. Its the real stuff, very gd toseh. Very good rice n curry dishes too. Curries r gob smacking good! Try it n tell me abt it. For Malay stall, simply love their Kueh Lopes - the triangular glutinous rice coated w salted coconut n drizzled w gula melaka. Here they got it all right, texture of kueh, freshness n texture of coconut n sweet saltiness of gula melaka. $1.20 for a piece of heaven. N then the chicken rice, queue is really long but its definitely worth it. Yong Tau Foo ๐Ÿ‘.

There is a great Chinese eatery in the Waterloo Centre that offers really a cheap and delicious mixed vegetable rice. They provide student discounts too! How great! It is also conveniently located 2 streets away from the National Library, which is a bonus for people studying there. Clearly a hidden gem in the city centre!

One of the best, if not the BEST Char Kway Teow in Singapore ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ is located here in Waterloo Centre, Blk 261 Waterloo Street. We have been travelling extensively around Singapore in search of the best Char Kway Teow (CKT) and finally managed to stumble across this CKT stall "LIANG JI" in Waterloo Street, within walking distance from the Kwan Im Temple / Bencoolen.. Liang Ji, helmed by the ever-friendly boss/chef Mr Dominic, is truly "The Legendary" Masterchef in whipping up a mean and savoury wok-hei Char Kway Teow with our favourite and generous servings of fresh cockles and chinese sausage (lup cheong). Other Recommendeded dishes that we tried are the Premium Crab Fried Kway Teow and Fried Oyster Omelette. Food Tasted: No 2. Char Kway Teow No 1. Premium Crab Fried Kway Teow No 11. Fried Oyster Omelette Highly Recommendeded ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

It's a pain to find a parking lot, went round several times & waste a lot of time. Lift only serve 5th floor onwards, so be prepare to climb the steps if you on 3rd & 4th floor. Mostly business units, nothing much there except 1 local food center.

I love the roof top on the 5th floor. It's a shame there's barely grass and a garden. Would be nice to have some greenery in the city.

I come here 3x a week for a Zumba class. I started to come in March 2022 and this building is not cleaning. The stairs and common area are filthy. Itโ€™s a shame because the inside room for the Zumba class is real well maintained but walking there on the stairs is dirty.

Used the Tumbler launder-mat there. Was good. User friendly and affordable. Did not get to see the rest of the mall though. I remember looking for a washroom on the ground level and did not see one.

Currently undergoing lifts upgrading which is overdued, with walkways restricted. Will revisit once the lifts upgrading has completed. I still like Indian Rojak n chicken rice stalls at level 1. Some stalls are closed for good.

Ancient place with a carpark full of tight corners. The stores here are neighbourhood sorts like dance studio, barber, fruits store etc it does feature kurasu and american taproom though which widens the demographics it appeals to. Will be better when nextdoor renovations finally complete.

1st time visiting Waterloo Centre, a quiet mall . 2 Eating house, some salons, cafe, valuemax. Level 3 & 4 - offices, Enrichment centre, etc. Cater mainly for residents there.

There are residents living from the 5th level onwards slightly more than 10 levels. Below this they have shops, workout studios, music studios, cafe, hair salon on level 1, bicycle repair shop, eating places, Value Max goldsmith shop, etc. U need go walk around n see for yourself. Old building renovated sometime ago. Looks alright.

A bustling location where one can find a Hindu temple standing side by side with a Taoist temple (Goddess of Mercy) creating a sense of multi-religious ethnicity. Not only devotees pray to the Taoist temple but they also revere the Hindu temple just as much. Flowers for prayers are abundant and coupled with varieties of food and shops, it can be a very interesting place to visit which is encouraged

Clean and affordable foods. Although the sauce and chili is far from the original hence the chicken rice, charsiew and roasted pork is superb. The crackling sound in every bite comes out the juicy of the pork. And guess what it is not salty! That is what I like!

Beef Kway Teow Soup in block 261 Waterloo St. worth patronising. Scrumptious generous serving of both beef and noodles. It's 2.49 a.m., I don't mind eating it now. It's that good. The operator, a v friendly chap, has also taken the effort to create a special condiment -- vinegary onion. His chilli sauce is also delicious. Both doing the job perfectly of dulling n balancing the naturally heavy taste of beef. Covid has affected Beef Noodle Uncle quite badly. Pattern of consumption has changed n the old crowd seems to have thinned down. Business is not the same as before. If business doesn't pick up, he'll have to pack up, he says. Really hate to see that happen because his food is of good quality. Please give it a try. Not out of pity but because the beef kway teow soup is delectable. ENJOY!
