Tldr: Service was the worst I have experienced at a restaurant my whole life. Had dinner at about 7pm on 2021-1-3 to celebrate my son's birthday. The service experience was horrible. 1. Assigned us to a table with a full view of the store inventory outside the restaurant, where there were 3 other tables of the same size which were empty. The restaurant was not packed that day. Only after two repeated requests to an older plump reluctant lady were we assigned to a more cosy table in a corner. 2. The dishes came and 20 minutes later, the rice still wasn't served. Even after repeated reminders, the rice only came 10 minutes later. The waitress KAREN and the old lady blamed each other. I a pregnant lady needed to walk to the kitchen side to request for rice to be served so that we can eat the dishes. What kind of service was I paying for $14.52 shown in my receipt? 3. The price of the seasonal vegetables was not shown in the menu, and the waitress Karen recommended the vegetables recommended for the season (DOU MIAO), but it was not the DOU MIAO I saw in the supermarket. Felt cheated once and when we paid the meal, we were shocked that the seasonal vegetables was priced at $28 without informing us in advance. Felt cheated again. The whole seasonal vegetables felt like a SCAM. The waitress KAREN still dared to pester my husband to sign up for Tong Le membership when he and I went to pay the bill. In no way will I want to step back into this Lingzhi again, I will rather go to Lotus nearby or Miao Yi at People's Park Complex. P.S: Though Jeffrey was the name printed on the receipt, the issue was not with him as Karen and another plump older lady were the two main people serving my table. And just realise that this Karen has been complained before in earlier reviews. If you are stepping into Lingzhi for the first time, please think twice.

Late visited dated 10th Nov. 21 Although is repeated dish but standard still remain savory. Add dish photo =========================== Visited End Oct 2021. We back again before they going to shift on 15th November so last day will be 14th Nov 21. We tried curry mix vegetables with deep fried Man Tou, but we changed man tou to brown rice instead. For Braised organic bitter gourd with shitake mushroom we have taken few times still remain it standard. 👍 ======================= Visit dated on 3rd week Oct 21. So sad to hear that Lingzhi going to shift soon.. 😒.. We are really shock to hear that as this is our favorite vegeterian restaurant in Novena area.. So we will be back next week till they gone in mid Nov 21.. 😢 ========================== Visited dated on 2nd week Oct '21 Try how good their Rojak as thought that nothing special about it.. I requested less you tiao, more veg and fruits. Surprisingly, this staff who is very friendly that she went into the kitchen made a special rojak for us as shown in the photo👍. She also according to our request to inform the chef for Lo Han vegetables that some of the ingredients which we are favor of they able specially cooked for us that this dish not in the menu.. Like this specially cooked for our favor ingredients request.. I told staff actually for standard Lo Han zhai comes with cabbages, carrot, vermicelli, dao kee and mushrooms. When served, beside usual ingredients, chef also added broccoli, black fungus, 2 kinds of mushrooms and fried yam also.. Wow! Will be back again for this dish. Also kudos for Lingzhi staffs service👍✌😋. Thank you !!! ========================== Visited dated on 1st wk Oct 2021 Back again to try vegeterian satay and fried vegeterian croquettes that we haven't tried before. Satay meat is good but the sauce need to improve as very less peanuts bits and looked more like curry sauce.. ========================== Updated on September 2021 5* - for the great food 5* - for the services. 5* - for the Tim Sum Actually we had been here for many years at least once a week for dinner if my hubby working afternoon shift.. Whatever the chef cooked will not disappoint you! The taste just right! We are very comfortable and satisfy after each meal that we had tried all the food in the menu. Only buffet haven't tried yet. Great all-vegetarian Chinese restaurant! It was there in my 'Want-to-go' list for Vegetarian Hot Pot in Singapore for a while now. Did not end up having the hot-pot, but we ordered some delicious a-la-carte. The ambience was good although it was pretty empty despite being a Sunday evening. We got a table on walk-in. We tried the Vegetarian Satay served in Fresh Pineapple (the peanut sauce was heavenly!), Steamed Dumpling with Assorted Vegetables and Corn Filling (it was there in the buffet menu, but they served us in a-la-carte) and Fried 'Hor Fun' (flat noodles) with Veggies and 'Kai Lan'. Everything tasted really delicious. We will be trying their hot-pot next!

Of the opinion that vegetarian dishes are boring and unappetizing? The dishes here will prove you wrong! LingZhi Vegetarian is one of my favorite place for Chinese vegetarian dishes with a twist. This outlet's menu changed a fair bit over the years and moved more towards traditional Chinese dishes. Nonetheless, they taste amazing!

Opted for their lunch a la carte hotpot buffet. Dim sum is great and lot of choices including the desserts. However the hotpot is normal but worth to give a try. Will return there soon.

Good food but pricey for what it is. Their vouchers are extremely misleading. The fine print states we are allowed to use 2 vouchers per receipt but we were denied this at the cashier. Note that you will need to spend 2x the min to use 2x vouchers. Left with a sour taste.

Not a bad place for Chinese vegetarian food. They do an afternoon high tea buffet hotpot that includes a good range of mushrooms, vegetable, and dim sum. Hotpot comes with a choice of soup base. Fairly good value for money.

Excellent bento set meal from Lingzhi. The bento set with brown rice is really delicious and I loved it so much. Bento C was average and a bit bland. Always a good option for vegetarian food! Offer Ala-Carte Menu and steamboat buffet. Quality food matched by excellent services. Best to make reservation prior to visit.

This branch is mainly serving hotpot and a lot of dishes is not available. Another branch at orchard serve more dishes. Service are good for both branches. A bit pricey but the food is decent. Love the yifu noodle with truffle and the Vegetarian Peking duck.

Ordered delivery for my mother for Mother’s Day. Worst experience ever. The food came on time but the menu was not what was reflected in the value set. The rice was with no olive whatsoever, only had corn, carrot and peas. The hot and sour soup was just starch water and the vegetables given was not what’s written in the menu. Felt completely cheated and really bad for ordering lousy food on a special day for mum. Will never order from them again!

We were there for the mid-afternoon buffet at Velocity. Our table had a hot-pot with two sections for two choices of soup stock. Good but modest variety of buffet items, which include a number of types of raw mushrooms, vegetables and a section for cooked items, to choose for the hot-pot and you can also order dim sum (included in the per pax price). Service staff were quite attentive. They also did not 'chase' us and those in another table when their buffet timing was up.

4 star food with a -3 star service and a really insulting experience I ordered 4 steam dimsum 3 fried dimsum a rice and tea. Took the team 25 mins to serve my first dish. A banana red bean pancake. Before anything you served, you serve my dessert. Followed on, fried rice. And hurray my tea arrived. And you left me hanging like a wet laundry for another 25mins. When I asked the service crew about my balance orders I was inform told ythey have a super long line of order they couldn't cope. And the endless "let me check" In short you have superb food. But your service standard and crew made me feel really insulted. I normally recommend people where to go for their meals. This likely is the first of my where Not to go

My devout vegetarian daughter reserved LingZhi-Novena to celebrate her Mother's/my wife's 70th birthday (5 people - social distancing observed). Very simply, this restaurant delivered incredible food, flawless service, courtesy and satisfaction at very affordable prices. On top of that the very friendly server highlighted the benefits of signing up for a Tung Lok card which entitled us to a birthday discount and special privileges. We were so content with the meal that we booked a take away reunion dinner. The ma po bean curd, asparagus with macademia nut, fish, vegetable curry, E-Fu noodles and vegeterian fish were outstanding. It is a source of wonder to me how vegetarian places can recreate such dishes. It is a challenge to find restaurants to accommodate our family's dietary needs. No doubt we will get more than our money's worth from the card as LingZhi helps to resolve any dilemmas we might have over where to dine.

Excellent choice for vegetarian and vegan diets. Food is perfectly seasoned and prepared to really bring out the flavors. Love all their money head mushroom dishes. So good.

Pricey and bad service. Especially the waiter from China. Asked for water, said its free but the water didn't come after multiple asking. As we had the buffet at 3pm, we asked for dessert, asked several times and the waiter from China even told us off as being desperate just for dessert. One of the worse attitude seen. Please improve your service or you will be losing even more customers.

Enjoyed lunch very much. We came for Tim sum but ended up getting tempted by the SLA carte menu. We had the claypot bittergourd, ee fu noodles with truffle and mushrooms, and teochew crystal dumplings. Every dish was tasty but had a very measured use of seasoning. Will be back to try the other dishes. And I read another review that other branches have a bigger range of items on the menu.

Ordered thru Oddle (only $5 delivery fee to East side) Items were well packaged. Bento costs $12, taste great and generous portion, comes with a herbal tea. Vegetable curry (comes with 4pcs mantao) was flavourful! Love it! Ordered soup too - taste so so and tiny portion for $10.70. BBQ bun was alright. Love the fact that it’s not all starchy mock meat but vegetable used as substitutes. All in all, 5stars for taste, portion, packaging and delivery!

Here for lunch, having their buffet steamboat lunch with dim sum. Dim sum are good worth coming to eat, as for the steamboat..... The herbal broth is like "salt water" too salty not much of herbal smell. Food are worth 4 to 5 stars though. But given 3 stars because of the unfriendly managers. The floor staffs are friendly and nice but the mangers.............
