The duck rice is a pleasant surprise! No mock meat - but mushroom stems in a dark sauce yummy stew. Yums. We also ordered the minced meat porridge. Also good. Nice and spacious, unless you come during peak hours. Otherwise the food came out fast and furious. Highly recommended!

A richly flavored collection of classic Singapore dishes - all vegetarian - made this a place I had on my list for a while. At the base of an HDB estate the menu is massive, with rice and various types of noodles available, for close to hawker prices. I took the opportunity to try a couple dishes and my favorite was the vegetarian bah kuh teh noodle soup. The complex and flavorful broth was the star, with herbs and spices that alternatively dance and numb your tongue. The goji berries added sweet bites to some spoon fulls. Large chunks of plant based meat with different shapes and textures went well with thicker yellow noodles. Fortunately it's a running day, so I didn't feel guilty and carbo loaded a bit by getting a side of duck rice, which was a good fried rice but didn't have the range of flavors of the soup. Old wooden benches and chairs create a traditional atmosphere, but I recommend getting one of the three tables out front under the big awning if you can. A fan creates a light breeze and the plants and trees between you and a quiet street is a wonderful way to enjoy the food and the moment. Definitely a place to return to with such a large menu. The friendly staff is very attentive.

Calming environment enables me to enjoy the food. The thai fried toufu is one of my favorites, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The chilli is spicy which matches well with the toufu. The staffs are friendly too! β™₯️

have been patronising this shop since about 20 yrs. the boss is not rude, just trying to be friendly. maybe somehow it trigger the previous reviewer that he was "shouting", maybe the boss is a Cantonese who talks loudly. have to say their dishes quite novel, since when i was an occasional vegetarian to full vegetarian.

The food is ok. Having vegan options. However, the man serving at the counter was REALLY RUDE in many occasions. It makes you feel like you are 2nd class citizen from his attitude towards you. There are many vegetarian and vegan food outlet that are very nearby and alternative to this store, so I would suggest people to consider eating at other place unless they wouldn't mind having their noon or evening being ruin by some imprudent rude man.

This place offers some of the best Chinese Vegetarian foods I've tasted. The great variety in their menu, the great taste of the food and the nominal prices they charge make eating here a great value proposition. It looks like a small mom-n-pop eatery. You don't go to places like this for ambiance or comfortable seats. You just go there to slurp up delicious food.

Pretty good vegetarian food here with HUGE selection! Taste for veg. Kway Chap is OK, and the claypot eggplant is good. What attracts me to come back next is the veg teochew porridge.

Nice and clean place for vegetarian food. Public car park nearby. Tried their signature fried rice, nice but find it abit on the oily side. Prices for their drinks on the expensive side, doesnt sell the usual coffee and tea. Large varieties of food available on their menu

Porridge is their main dishes, recommended to try. Some other dishes are nice. Just that too salty.

Only been there once but would love to visit the place again! Lots of variety to try. The boss/cashier uncle is super friendly and humourous! When I said bye thank you, he replied "it's okay you can go, don't have to wait for me" 🀣 Price is reasonable too!

Currently the place is 2 paxs dining per table due to Covid Safe Management. No air-con. They are open throughout the day time. Quite extensive menu from rice, porridge, noodles and ala-carte, however some items are no longer available. Cleanliness in terms of their toilet and condiments corner could be improve.

Vegetarian Cafe with ample seats and nice ambience. Clean and fast service. Considered pricey as not much in quantity and quality to offer at $4.50 up per bowl.

As a vegetarian who loves Chinese street food, this place is fantastic! They have an extensive menu with noodles, congee, dumplings, satay, and lots of other options. We tried 7 or 8 dishes and they were all delicious. The service was great. Lots of friendly smiles.

Can only give 4 currently, cause when I went there, the porridge are already sold out (sadly), will definitely find a time to go tryout the porridge. BUT The two other porridge that I had ordered, they actually taste amazing also. Definitely worth a try. The place has no aircon, but very chill (I went there during night time for dinner, not sure about other timing)

Comfort vegetarian food. Staff there are all friendly and humourous. Always walking out with a smile on my face :) they could consider switching music track to other mantra chants. This one has went on for at least 3 years.

Went on a high peak date. Wait time on a εˆεδΊ”: 40mins I had the bittergourd beehoon soup, for ppl who prefers light tasting food with little vegetarian mock meat, this will be a nice choice. Just hope maybe can put more other types of veg inside.

Nice ambience, great food at affordable price. My first visit and only tried the "prawn soup noodles". It is very rich and flavorful. Salty to me as I barely eat out but very delicious. Yum

Have read about the reviews on this shop and decide to make a visit. Ordered Noodle Dumpling soup and must say the dish is excellent. Even more delighted is the red chilli sauce. It’s very nice. Ordered a vegetarian Char Siew Rice for takeaway. Only minus point is the location is exactly in between Paya Lebar MRT and Aljunied MRT. It’s a 600 metres walk to either MRT stations from the shop.
