You must be prepared to wait as they seem very slow at getting food to the table and preoccupied with preparing for delivery rather than serving dine in as the whole place was full of hungry dinners with nothing on their table. A pretty comical sight to see. Taste wise.. I guess it's pretty normal and not impressionable for the items ordered which is also more costly than the usual vegetarian stalls I frequent. Honorable mention for the sambal kangkong.. It takes first place for nearly consisting near 100% of the Kangkong stems.. Giving it a unbeatable crunchy texture to "remember" for. The only saving grace was as at this point in time of the covid restrictions, they are one of the few around the area that sits 5 instead of 2.

Ordered via Grab & food came piping hot. Enjoyed both the Hot & Sour Soup and Sambal Fried Rice. Good level of spice. Crispy noodles quite average.. the gravy for the noodles abit bland. The crispy noodles tasted really good on its own instead.

Tried many dishes here and they were all good. My favorite is the fried yam nest ( yam ring), I would just order this one if I order for myself.

Can get quite crowded at times so seats may be difficult to find if you're there too late. We ordered the claypot noodles, gong bao "chicken" rice and hotplate tofu. Note that the hotplate tofu had eggs. Food is really good, though the Gong bao chicken can get a bit too salty. Definitely worth to come back again

A shop by its own under the block. Serves vegetarian food and vegetarian prata too. Easy parking behind the shop. Tried tomyum fish and claypot toufu and find them pretty good. Wanted to try their assam fish but sold out...okay next round

Was a raining day so I decided to have a bowl of hot & spicy soup. Wow it was slow, took so long for a bowl of soup and when finally get to eat it, the taste of disappointment! It literally just tasted like soured gummy chili sauce and nothing else, no other flavours!

Great food, awesome prata! Came here on a Sunday morning about 9am. Ordered thru table QR and mains came about 15mins later. Server was nice to inform about long waiting time for my prata order. Food was good and prices are still acceptable. Only downside is be prepared for a long wait during lunch or dinner times. Had to wait close to an hour for my prata! Witnessed others leaving the place as they could not wait any longer.

I'm impressed by their presentation: simple yet presentable. They actually gave me a feeling like I'm savouring those dishes served at a wedding dinner. Taste wise is nice, enough taste or maybe some might feel it's slightly salty. I like the 'monkey head mushroom' texture (not sure if I get the name right 😝) and the curry. The curry and prata seems like their signature. I see most ppl ordered them. Might make a second visit to try out the prata. The only bad review is the service from one of the auntie. She seems to be tired of the full house situation.

2nd time visiting this stall for dinner. Environment was not too bad and food was pretty good. Overall the taste of food is still acceptable and quite easy to find seats on a Weekday. Will go back and try other food selection :)

We have been eating here for sometime. The quality of the food is slowly going down but Prices going up like nobody's business. See for yourself the attached....the chilli chicken rice. We don't mind paying for quality food. But this is a rip off. The management must look into it. $7.30 for 3 pcs of flour and some rice. Totally absurd.

Food is super tasty but it's a tad oily and on the slightly expensive side....the wait is really long and they always seem to prioritise grab and food panda orders to dine in customers. They serve their online orders first. So I avoid having dinner there and opt for brunch instead as its less crowded and the wait time is shorter.

Good Vegetarian restaurant which I frequently visit. The food here is tasty and the staffs here are friendly and the service is fast. The roti prata here deserve specially mentioned, the size of prata is bigger in size and also is crispy, the curry gravy pair extremely well with the prata.

Another accidental discovery...they even have breakfast menu & Prata 👍🤤 Prices are reasonable & staff are friendly and helpful. Mainly local dishes...tasted quite surprisingly close to similar to the original non vegetarian. Will definitely come back.

This is the place that I have the best prata in Singapore. However, we saw a little rat when we reached here early this morning. Hopefully, the shopkeepers can maintain better hygiene and get rid of rat and birds that frequent the shop.

Excellent selection of vegetarian dishes. It will be similar to the Zi Char most are familiar with. Ala carte and set dishes are available. What i love is the prata that is served with thick fragrant curry.

This shop been quite a years located at Yishun. We went for breakfast and they offer variety of choices. Their roti plata curry gravy will not disappoint u, for those coconuts milk lover u will like their plata gravy. But dont come so early as 8am, their curry soup may not ready to sell.

Nice food but long waiting time (about 35min). The food portion is just nice. Curry fish $13+, French bean $9+, omelette egg $5+.

If you are a fan of Kway Chap, this is not the place for you to order it. However their Hokkien Mee was very nice. Can smell the wokhey infused with egg fragrance!

A stand-alone open air Zhi char vegetarian stall. The food standard is comparative to a restaurant. As someone who normally eat meat dishes, I was pleasantly surprised by the texture and taste. We had curry fish head, shark fin soup, sambal sweet potato leave (this was the only dish that was lacking) and Fried Mee Sua. Total was around $43SGD. A side note their QR ordering system is a bit funky. And may not work. Normally I’ll just go straight to the counter to order instead.

  • 1/5 Guanzhong Gilbert C. 10 months ago on Google
Food is decent but expect super long wait for the food. Ordered takeaway and was asked to wait for 30 mins but ended up waiting for an hour. Can see people we are dinning in front got their food while still waiting for mine. Think they really need to work out a system.

  • 4/5 T C C. 7 months ago on Google
Food is not bad at this affordable price. Coudl reuqest less oil or salt if you are seeking for healthier choice as sometimes the food can be salty & oily. Do try the prata. It is one of the best i tried so far. Before goind there, do call and check with store if prata is avaible as the staff can be off anyday.

Great local, Chinese, vegan and vegetarian fare. Affordable and tasty what going again and again.

  • 4/5 GourmetHunter 6 years ago on Google
Meatless dishes tasted almost like meat. That's the mark of an outstanding vegetarian restaurant. I would recommend the butter prawns, fish curry and fish soup. The prata is also as crispy as any of the real prata shops.

At 12.45pm weekday we were told that it'll be a 40 mins wait, but within 25 mins all food came ?. But Prata came in 10 mins. I got the horfun for myself $4. Lots of noodles given, but I could finish it cause the noodles had the wok fried fragrance and tasty! My other family members got the Sweet sour pork and Claypot ee mee! Also got 2 prata to share. I tried the sweet sour pork and it's batter were fried perfectly, the batter was very crunchy. Prata and ee mee were very average to me, BUT the curry accompanying the prata was delicious! Overall it was pretty good dining here. Not expensive, and not overly salty or oily! Generous portions. The number of people eating here shows how popular is this place.

I ordered egg prata and boom on 11 Aug but the Prata Sifu did wrong prata ( he made plain prata instead of boom) , i called in to inform the person in charge and he did clarify with prata Sifu, he asked me come back and make a new set for me in another day. Today i came back to order the same ( boom n egg prata) and i intended to pay the money for egg and plain prata but they insist don't want to take my money and saying is a replacement, I was surprised. Appreciate ?

Came here for breakfast and service was delightfully quick. Ordered the laksa and teh, total was under $5. This is a great place in my opinion and I enjoyed the laksa. Later, I asked to takeaway my drink and the staff allowed me to do so. Would come back here again!

This is one of the best vegetarian restaurants you can find in Singapore! Most of their foods are really nice! I love their plain roti prata & fish curry! Never get bored with their foods! They are very busy in the weekend and during chu 1 & 15 of Lunar Calendar. The best time to eat here is during weekdays. The place is clean & tidy.

Tables and chairs are not clean. Even the mynah can almost slip when walking on the table. Food is mediocre. Considered pricey because the bulk is carbohydrates and not the sides, eg, vegetables. They will take at least half an hour to serve you food. Mind you, you have to constantly remind them else your food could go to others who ordered later than you. No process and disorganized especially during peak hours. Gave 2 stars because food is still edible. Will not return again.
