One of our favourite places for authentic Mediterranean fare: Pita Bakery @pitabakerysingapore! If you are not sure what to order, get their 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 (serves 2 pax)! For $25, the platter comes with falafels, baba ghanoush, hummus and 3 in-house dips (tahini, harissa and amba) to pair with their freshly baked pita bread. Absolutely love dipping the pillowy soft pita into the irresistibly velvety & rich hummus- it makes our hearts go pita pita (sorry lame pun 😆)! If you love a smokier and more savoury flavour profile, the baba ghanoush is a good option.⁣ ⁣ Their deep-fried falafel balls work well with any dip. While they are crunchy on the outside, it was slightly drier compared to the last time we had it. Still quite satisfying to go along with the rest of the platter!⁣ .⁣ 📍 Address: 29 Bali Lane, Singapore 189865 (approximately 2-min walk from the Masjid Sultan)⁣

The food was great as it was freshly prepared and warm. The price was reasonable. However, due to the small indoor premise the two-seater tables are very close to each other, an arm’s length away. Also, if you are sensitive to cooking smell cocooning you after your meal, then, you have to sit outdoor. If I’m not wrong, there is no warm beverage for sale.

First is first , the customer service ... was one of the best ever ... I failed to ask the name of the lady at the counter, she was such an amazing host and delivered with a beautiful smile ... we went there for a quick bite ... So ordered falafel and they were yum ,yes but definitely not out of the world ! Am saying this only because of the price , was charged 10 $ for 10 small sized falafel with a spicy dip and Tahini ... I've lived more than half of my life in a middle-eastern country and falafel are a go to snack most of the times ... and the ingredients used to make these falafel are pretty inexpensive ... The place seemed neat and cozy and could harbour around 10 people ... three stars only cause of the pricing ...

Maybe I expected too much, but i had a taste for hummus snack in the afternoon, and had been tracking down restaurants nearby that offer it and giving them a try. I had high hopes with a name like Pita Bakery... Two words that sounded very promising together. Located on Bali Lane it's an easy shop to find ... It's the red one. They offer a nice selection of bread options...I asked and they recommended one which came as a warm disk. The hummus was in a smaller bowl and looked to be drowning in olive oil with some red powder added. Not sure if it was hummus.. Maybe too much garlic... Or it was the spice on the bread. But it just didn't mix. It left an unpleasant after taste. The hummus texture was nice, creamy and easy to spread or scoop onto the bread. They have inside and outside seating.

Reminded me of the New York style falafels. Ingredients are fresh and very tasty, Falafels are delicious and the presentation looks picture perfect!. The manager was very cool too.

The falafel is to die for! It is crispy on the outside and burst with flavours when you bite on it. The Pita Bread is soft and must eat when it is served hot. The Pita Chips is like biting into garlic bread. Love the lite portion of it for an easy snack.

Vegan Mediterranean place with variety of Pita breads to choose from. The platter is worth trying, sufficient for two people.

During my recent visit, I noticed a slight decline in the overall standard compared to my previous experience. While the Pita itself tasted good, the Falafel Pita Sandwich fillings were on the saltier side, impacting the overall flavor. Additionally, the service did not meet the standards I had experienced on previous visit probably back in 2019. I hope to see improvements in both the food quality and service in the future.

If you want to have authentic Falafel in Singapore, this is the place to go! Absolutely freshly made with mouth watering taste! I came to know that some ingredients come directly from Israel! No wonder it tastes fabulous! Anarun at the counter was great to talk to! I wish you guys have a branch in India too!

The last time I walked past the place was during the height of Covid in 2020 when it was closed during the circuit breaker period. Finally after almost 2 years, I finally get to enjoy the food. Delicious freshly made pita bread, hummus and falafel. The portion is good for 2-3 for this “Take it All!” set that the owner strongly recommended to savour their food. The falafel is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and by far the nicest I have had. The hummus is really fluffy and I only thing I wished was that the portion was bigger 😁.

Quiet cozy restaurant tuck in the corner of Bali lane, not very crowded on a weekday evening. Pita chips are so good, definitely a must try! Can’t go wrong with hummus and Falafel!

The price difference between the plain and the flavored one is pretty significant. I got one plain (1.2) and one cajun (3), but the cajun was just a plain pita bread with some cajun powder sprinkled on top of it. I felt it was overpriced for what it was. The picture on their menu is very misleading. They show 3 pita breads on the image, but the price shown is for just one pita bread. Also, pita breads were served cold.

Great vegan food in street setting. Would recommend the sharing platter and particularly enjoyed the eggplant hummus. Owner was lovely and attentive.

I'm not vegan. I like my meat. But when I have my meals at The Pita Bakery, it doesn't even feel like I'm at a vegan shop. The falafel here are elite. It's moulded into smaller round balls which gives me the perfect mix of crispiness and fluffiness. AND! Their Feel Free Falafel Pita sandwich, is not your regular falafel pita sandwich. For one, it's filled with them mini falafel balls, cabbage, harissa, pickles... I promise you, it won't taste like any other you've tried, but in a good way.

Somewhat tucked away with little foot traffic because of the roadworks (as of early 2023) but worth seeking out if you're a fan of hummus or pita. The menu isn't particularly deep, but that's sort of the point: pita, falafel, hummus etc is available for a quick and easy bite. The seating inside is basic but works well and there are a couple of high tables outside. It's not super cheap but the quality is there so I'll definitely return.

Me and my family really enjoyed our time here. Staff were very friendly, food was great. We were lucky to get a table but busy periods I would suggest to get the food delivered.

Probably the best pita and Greek food place. It's a very basic place with very minimal seating but the food is very homely and so are the staff. Bread is excellent and so are the dips. They have a very wide variety of choices for the bread and also the dips. The prices are very modest and the flavours are very good. All in all, definitely a place you must visit if you are near Bugis. Definitely worth multiple visits.

Only good things to say about this place! The pita bread is fresh and soft and fluffy and there are a variety of types to choose from. The platters are really worth getting to try a bit of everything. Service is swift and fuss free and be prepared to sit outside if the place is busy (which it can be at peak hour).

Small place. Variety of pita bread and dips available. Falafels are smaller which allows easier eating. All items are vegan. Cons: cash or nets only. Only serve soft drinks and mineral water.

Saw good reviews for this place but I must admit it was pretty underwhelming. My main issue with the place is that the quality of the food does not justify the price. We ordered the taste it all platter, but I’d say only the falafel balls and babaganoush were good. The 3 dips didn’t really hit the spot. The tahini sauce was lackluster compared to the babaganoush, the harissa spread was too spicy, and the amba was too sour. The pickled vegetables were also too sour. As for the hummus, it is too creamy that there is no texture in it, which can feel surfeit. Lastly, the pita with toppings didn’t taste any different from the plain one. Maybe it’s just the Cajun and cinnamon flavour but we didn’t feel like it was worth the extra dollars. So in short, I personally feel that it would be worth trying once, especially for their falafel balls.

The place is cozy and the staff is super nice but the babaganousgh was overly roasted and lacked depth of flavor. The pita with topping felt very overpriced ($3) compared to the regular ($1.20).

Came here with my partner as returning customers because we really enjoy the falafel sandwich here! Tried the dips and spreads too and the spicy eggplant is our favourite. Service staff here are also friendly, which makes the atmosphere here very pleasant for a quick bite!

One of the best falafel sandwiches Pocket bread is the most fresh and soft and slightly chewy. I love the taste and colors of the falafel here. Friendly service. I come here every visit to Singapore

A must visit halal vegan middle eastern restaurant. 5 mins walk from the iconic Sultan Mosque. ‘Taste is all’ is highly recommended from the menu. Friendly staffs, hygienic and cozy place.

Found this vegan & halal-friendly place to be very homely and welcoming. Enjoyed the fill-free sandwich ($9) which consisted of of falafel balls & mixed vegetables drizzled with a variety of sauces. Also bought a side of babaganoush ($5) that tasted very similar to hummus. The staff was also very welcoming & helpful. Note: if using Burpple 1-for-1 (takeaway), you just have to buy any item on their menu in order to utilize their dining area - as advised by their staff. There were around 4-5 tables in the seating area. Will definitely be back for more!

The food is fantastic, but it is a bit pricey to get it delivered to home. 🏠 $20 for a single delivery. Wow, that's pricey. Felt like a hole burnt thru my 35$ order.

Located in a corner and went in circles around Haji lane to locate . It's located right behind Going Om restaurant. Tried the 'taste it all' platter (25$)which comes with hummus, 2 pitas of choice and vegetables and dips..was a filling meal for 2! Tried the pita chips (3$) which was a great side. Limited drink options (mostly canned carbonated drinks). The pitas were soft and fluffy and all the dips were delicious. Definitely worth a try for a quick, filling bite.

This is like my 3rd or 4th time here already, will always drop by when we have craving for pita and hummus. The pita with toppings are very fragrant with the herbs, best dipped with hummus 👍🏻 The falafels are always prepared on order and comes crispy and hot to consume. Fantastic with the tahini dip but the spicy dip was way too spicy to be dipped alone. Even with a slight dab only u can feel the kick of the spice, can fight with mala 😅 Definitely a place to come if you have craving for pita and dips 😊

$30 for 2 pieces of bread (12cm diameter) 3 pieces of falafel (3cm diameter) and 0.5cm deep quantity of hummus ?! Why?! I have lived and worked in Riyadh ,Dubai, Istanbul and Tel Aviv and my fellow readers will understand the laughing stock in terms of quantity and quality for the price. I never waste time posting in Singapore but this is a warning for your consideration.

  • 5/5 Erika R. 1 year ago on Google
The falafel is fresh, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, not oily, and taste delicious. The pita is also so fresh and soft and just the right amount of sauces. But what really gives the sandwich that extra mile is the unique hot sauce, even if you just add a little bit! I’ve been back here multiple times and highly recommend it.

Did a pick up of their pita breads. The bread was so fresh and soft! Loved it. Next time I want to try their dips as well given that their bread was amazing.

We had the "taste if all" platter for 2 and everything was incredible and vegan. Crispy and soft falafels, big bowl of creamy hummus, 2 pita of your choice, pita chips (10/10), Baba ganoush, tahini sauce, mango sauce, chilli sauce, salad and pickled veg. Everything was delicious and served with generous portions, highly highly recommend especially if you are vegan.

Went to Haji Lane on a Thursday night befor the long weekend. Streets were full with many people. Found this cute place at the back alley. Ordered falafel sandwich and a bread. Taste was good and service was fast but prices were high. 11 sgd for a falafel sandwich was too high plus the size of the serving was also not enough. If you are around Haji lane you can visit this place.

I tried everything from the pita bread and hummus to the falafels and pita chips. I thought the pita breads were decent but they didn't have that fresh taste. Though they were served hot, I think they were pre-made and reheated. The hummus was decent too as were the falafels. I liked the pita chips the least because they were hard but I think that's how they were meant to be. Everything was vegetarian here which was great for me. The place is small and can feel a cramped. I saw a lot of people getting takeaways during my meal.

  • 5/5 Chris J. 1 year ago on Google
Got the sampler platter for lunch. Their credit card machine was down and we only had $28 for a $36 meal but they took it. The food was excellent, the hummus buttery and soft, great dips.

Taste it All Platter This was really worth it and I can see why this is platter is a popular choice! The warm, fluffy pita bread dipped in a variety of dips was amazing. Falafels, hummus, babaganoush, and more!

  • 5/5 han 1 year ago on Google
1st time trying and I LOVE the food here. Tried the $35 Sampler Platter, just nice for 2. All the different sauces are amazing on its own but another level once you start mixing them. The platter comes with 2 pita bread of your choosing, pita chips (The best thing here honestly), a row of falafels, a bowl of hummus, along with 3 sauces and a couple of palette cleanser. Was very full at the end, probably from all the starch, would come back just for the pita chips.

Fully vegan, Halal, and Kosher Middle Eastern food! (*Contains alliums) The Taste It All chef's variety platter has great presentation and is nice for sharing with others. Also a good way to sample everything on the menu so you know what to order the next time. I enjoyed the falafel, hummus, babaganoush, choice of spiced pita bread, and dips (tahini and harissa, my order was missing the amba dip for some reason). Personally wasn't such a fan of the Turshi pickles, salad, and pita chips though! Seats are a bit limited.

  • 5/5 Aakash A. 1 year ago on Google
Me and wife went around 5:30 pm on a weekday, pretty empty so easy to get a seat, however I have seen lunch hour is busy. We bought try everything platter, and thought may not be enough but surprisingly it’s very much filling or a bit much for two of us to finish. Sticks and humus were amazing. Staff was super nice and very fast - hardly took 5-10 min to get us the stuff from order to food on table. Really nice early dinner.
