    I have been with De Beaute for almost 12 years. It was good in the beginning but service have deteriorated the past few years. They are very pushy for business, will harass you until you sign up their packages. Once packages signed they no longer look into your interest. I have informed them that I am travelling and no need for them to text me on the appointments. They still did despite my notifications. When I got back they texted me again and I have arranged for an appointment today for massage at 11 am. Mark confirmed my appointment but when I arrived this morning at 1050 am, I was told to take a seat. I asked ‘why ‘ so the receptionist replied that masseuse are not available. I then told her that I would like to change first. When I went in to the room to change I saw 3-4 masseuses standing around. After changing the receptionist asked me to go for facial first and that I can only have my massage at 1 pm. I asked ‘why’ when I had the confirmation from Mark for massage at 11 am. She then responded that the masseue who can massage for me is taken and only available at 1 pm, the others are not capable to do massage without oil as I am allergic to the essential oil and that I didn’t book that particular masseue. I told her that I did mention on the phone when the lady called me to set up the appointment. They have my records too. The service and arrangements with appointments have gone from bad to worst and this is not the first time they have messed my appointments. I got so angry that I left without any treatment this morning. It’s a total waste of my time driving all the way to Plaza Singapura.

    Update: For my latest appointment, I waited for ten minutes before someone came to tell me that my usual masseur (which I've always requested and mentioned at the point of booking) is still with another customer, who is only halfway. Wow. Unbelievable. I do not know who's in charge of the allocation but they are doing a terrible job. They offered another masseur but I rejected since I only go to my usual. Absolute waste of my time. Whilst no one was rude and everyone was apologetic but nonetheless this is getting way out of hand. DeBeaute is being extremely complacent and taking their customers for granted. I thought things will improve but turns out it has in fact gone down even more. Not what I would expect of somewhere that I've been frequenting for many years and bought many packages. Previous review: I've been a long time customer, but recently their service and attitude has been deteriorating. Even when there was scheduling error or lateness on their part, I have been snapped at or just brushed aside rudely when I enquired about it. Extremely disappointing considering I've been their patron for almost a decade. If this is how they treat their loyal customers, then everyone should think twice before signing any package with them. I sincerely hope their customer service will improve and will update this review accordingly.

    Terrible service and treatment at De Beaute! My appointment was at 7pm, I was kept waiting till 750pm. When asked about the long wait, the beautician had the cheek to say luckily I had good skin (indicating not much work to be done) as they close at 840pm. She rushed through the treatment and it the worst facial I experienced! The mask they applied was supposed to harden and peel off easily but because she couldn’t wait for the treatment to be over, she peeled it off early while the mask was still wet. A machine was used to do rubbing motions on my face - only after more than half of my face was done did the beautician realised the machine wasn’t even switched on in the first place!! The entire experience was so unsatisfactory and uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place!

    Ivy is a really nice and helpful manager here. Very understanding, gentle and patient. Because of her, therefore I came to support De Beaute for their massage services here. The masseues here like Jenny is kind and good too. (:

    This facial place is a scam!!!! Please do not purchase any packages from them. Company did not inform clients in advance that the system will be upgraded. Out of nowhere after my facial they informed that my physical card is no longer available everything has been backed up in system. We are unable to verify the number of treatments left - solely based on what they key in system. When we requested for the cards to be sent back for verification the manager conveniently forgot about the request. Now they tell you if you don’t wish to upgrade your packages, they will just get a beautician to “entertain” you. Very bad service! Ps lots of fake 4 or 5 star reviews. Purchase at your own risk!!

    Have been a member for a few years now. I only do massage when I go there and the therapists are not very skillful I feel. They use to have a thai lady who was the best but she was transferred and since then their other therapists don't seem to have a standard procedure for massage, I even had one that almost fell asleep I think while massaging me. The purpose of having a massage is to relax and soothe my aching body but I end up not very relaxed. They like to use their forearm to massage, they should just use their hands, that's the best way to massage. Maybe its just my preference.

    Would give zero star if possible. Been using this beauty parlour since 2005 and last purchased a package from them in 2016. During that time, the consultants advised the customers that all the packages bought has no expiration date which is why I bought a package with 46 treatments. Unfortunately their service keeps deteriorating and then with Covid etc, I don’t often go for my facial there. But recently I’ve been going there quite regularly as I wanted to use up all my treatments. However, yesterday when I went, I was told that the package has expired and I can’t use anymore of my purchased treatments BUT I can convert my existing package to another package and top up the difference…when I questioned on the expiration date when previously they said there was none, the manager there said it was all wrongly promoted by the consultants as they wanted sales. When I asked shouldn’t the management then inform customers accordingly and give them a period to use up their treatments, the manager says she can’t as the system is now set up such that all treatments become locked once expired, but again I can pay to change to another package. I don’t see why I have to pay the company again for services I bought previously especially since service was bad (often have to wait for service to start even with appointment and then once facial starts, left lying in the bed when consultants go to handle other guests), so I DECLINED. Definitely not going there in the future! I think management just wants to get more cashflow as previously their consultants sold too many of these no expiration treatments that customers are using now. But they are basically doing that at the expense of their customers.

    I've been a customer with De Beaute for a long time. Since 2002 or 2003. Their services have been getting from bad to worse. Their managers are only interested to get you to top up for new treatments even though i already have a lot of sessions. I didnt come regularly for my facial cos i was always made to wait. An hour facial usually take 3 to 4 hours due to waiting. They fixed my facial at 11am but they are having meeting at this hour. And the worse thing is they did system migration and they said i only have less than 10 sessions of facial left. My own record is i still have 42 sessions left. They seems to want to cheat my money. I will not recommend anyone to come to this salon.

    Like to comment on my today experience. I book my appt yesterday for 2hrs starting at 2pm through the call centre. Today morning the staff from the Scc o outlet called me that they have to reschedule my appt to 3.30 pm because one of their therapists was sick, but my therapist was not sick. I was not happy about it and called the centre. The call centre reaffirm with me that my 2 pm appt was on. I reached the outlet at 2 pm and was told that my therapist will attend to me. After waiting for 25 mins, one of the staff came and tell me that my therapist will need another 8 mins. I have lost confidence in their sense of timing. The arrangement at this outlet is horrendous as this type of experience I have encountered numerous times. I am very very disappointed with my unpleasant experience with them

    I’ve signed 2 packages with them but after visiting for few times, they told me my packages have no balances left and asked me to buy a new package. After several calls with their HQ, they managed to retrieve my balances and it appeared that I’ve more than 10 balances left To give benefit of doubt, they claimed it’s their system issues. But EVERY SINGLE VISIT, THEY TOLD ME THE SAME THING that I don’t have balance left. I’ve to keep requesting my statement, print out n track my record. Not to my surprise, I’ve seen few similar cases happened in their store where other customers experienced the same thing. Won’t be signing anything with them again.

    Tried their cool lifting express facial and I must say that I am truly impressed with the results! My skin brightened & firmed up just in one session, completely no downtime. I am happy to be served by Carol, she is very experienced! Will recommend this cool lifting express facial to all, must try to believe it👍🏻

    booked appt for 12pm, reached at 11.55am and waited 25 mins at the room and no one came till i went to the receptionist and ask again and then someone appear 10 mins later. Used to have a package with them but did not renew cause they always make me wait and do not adhere to the appointment timings. And also they hardsell you when you are going through your facial. Half way through my ‘birthday treat’ they expect me to top up this and that and i immediately asked the therapist to finish whatever she is doing and i grab my bag and leave. To be fair therapist was nice and apologetic but never will i step into this outlet again.

    Went for massage and facial treatment after a long break due to the pandemic! Love the massage by Kelly, eased my backache and shoulder ache. But dislike the sales talk while I'm having my massage, disrupted my intention of having a restful afternoon. Preferred the facial treatment by the skillful Zorine, she noticed my problems and recommended the right treatment. I've been a faithful customer for about 15 years, hope I'll not be driven away by their pushy sales talk.

    Please do not sign up for a facial package here. It has been an unpleasant experience for several reasons, chiefly because they do not prioritise customer needs — but are very focused on acquiring new business. 1. Hard sell: After the 2nd or 3rd session, someone will try to sell me something new. I have not had a session where I was able to relax and not have to think of a pleasant way to end an unwanted conversation. 2. I do not get what I paid for: I was promised XX services and only managed to get 3-4 sessions of what I was paying for. The rest of my sessions were random facials (and not as promised by the sales persons) because I did not persist in continuing with the facialist I signed up for as she has far too many customers, and I cannot plan my schedule in advance. The issue is that the salespeople overpromise and this puts the therapists in a hard position where the experience is usually underwhelming. 3. Skin gets worse: My facialist recommended I try a new laser procedure to manage skin spots. I think they are obliged to keep introducing new machines and packages. I took up the trial and this left me with red and itchy skin that took some time to heal. The last three visits dried up my skin significantly. Did I make a fuss? No, because I signed up to rest and not to argue my point after a long day. I also recognise that their therapists work hard. I don’t see also a point trying to extract value from a salon who clearly will not prioritise customer satisfaction over profit. It is unfortunate. I spent about $1.5k on a package. I am a polite and undemanding customer that they will lose — because I do not like their business practices.

    I like their service and their friendliness. I can say their service has improved and for my case, I didn't encountered any unpleasant experience, so far. Previously, they oftentimes mix up the packages (the one splitted between me and my friend and the other under my own name) but after my visit today and speaking with Ivy, the database was organized and I don't have to keep on remembering everything. I like what they did to the place, it is really nice and cosy.

    Been a customer for longer than a decade. One MAJOR problem that persisted over the years was the lack of transparency and lack of proper bookkeeping of customers' packages. Customers are unable to track their packages' usage - no app, no website login (something that they really should invest some money into, beyond the recent physical renovation). Glad that consultant Ms Thievya (hope I spelled correctly!) was patient and kind enough to help sort out and work me through my purchase and usage history, and spend time checking records for me. Appreciate her for it. Service is okay, but avoid peak periods else you might sometimes be forgotten in the room as other reviews have said. Prices can be competitive if you know how to haggle or stand your ground. Need ironwill to withstand persistent attempts by some therapists and consultants to sell you packages, even though you have more than enough to last like two years...

    😍👍👍👍 Good massage by Jackeline and Kelly. My fav facial persons.. Sita and Pearl. Been their long time customer. Nice cosy place now. 😤👎👎👎 Not easy to get fav masseuse n facialist. Definitely a Stressful place to relax. Always hard-selling. And yet, did not do honest package keeping. I did not check my facial and massage packages, so I am not sure if they updated correctly. All screwed up when they transfer physical book to computerised. Conveniently, staffs involved already resigned

    Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. It was the worst service ever received. I had bought a voucher from fave and the staff didn't provide the service mentioned in the voucher and insisted it was only an hourlong massage when I had purchased a voucher 1hr massage and 1hr facial. Furthermore, they used gloves during the massage which made it extremely uncomfortable. They said it was due to COVID-19 regulations; however, none of the other massage parlours have been to since the pandemic have done this in the current regulations. Highly atrocious service, completely put off since it was a gift I gave to my parents for their 50th birthday

    Very bad service - keep pushing for sales even when I’m having the session. Ppl come here for facial/massage to rest also but EVERYTIME I come EVERYTIME they keep stressing me to buy this and that. Other reason to not continue from them is coz they eat up the sessions that I’ve paid for. Asked me to upgrade for 1-1 exchange with top up - did that and when I’m supposed to have leftover sessions with extra mask I’ve paid for. They told me I have 0 left for everything 👏🏻 After each session even if I bring my sister along and deduct from my package, I’ve calculated properly but they still say 0. Called up the service centre and asked for manager - manager called me the next day and said will follow up with me with a text but none received at all.

    Love the ambience and new look of De Beaute now, I have been with De Beaite since 2016, n braved thru Covid periods and seen the marvellous improvements done thus far, splendid! Ms Freda has gotten a huge thumbs up from me. Love her service and sales , Not pushy for sales like some other places , this is one of the best long serving spa i have been to.

    I went for massage at 7pm and end the session around 8.50pm. While travelling on train, I realise that i had forgotten to take my black bag with laptop inside. I try to call the outlet but couldn’t get thru as the outlet had closed and staff had left. I send message thru chat. I was amaze by the quick response by the staff. And staff Feb arrange driver Simon to send my black bag to my house. Their service always never failed me and I had been their customer for many years. Highly recommended for their massage and facial. 👏🏻👍🏻

    I love the TCM Wellness Leg Massage done by June Tan. She had helped me to alleviate my knee cap problems as I can walk so much better with less pain. Under her weekly treatment, I should pay kudos to her for her professional skills in helping me..

    Terrible client experience. Went for a facial and they left me lying in the room w a mask on for 40min. I went out to look for someone; I found the receptionist who then said my therapist is attending to another client now so she’ll wash my face so I can leave. She proceeded to take a tissue and started aggressively wiping my face. I’m not sure if she had the qualifications to do facials but regardless it wasn’t acceptable. I went up to give feedback and was just told that they’re understaffed so therapists were attending to multiple clients at the time. Completely unacceptable.

    Dont sign any package with them!黑店!My thousand over dallors facial package gone after one year didn't go there for services. They claimed that I only have facial mask which worth $50!I didn't keep all my purchase receipts no Im at the lose end. I hope my warning will help those innocent peoples from getting cheating by them. Not even worth 1 star!

    Bad service... My mom bought a 6-session facial package and used 2 times (she noted down each time she made an appointment) but their system showed she used 4 times. Approached them to verify and correct the error since September but they only resolved it in November, citing that it was a system error. Their manager Freda handling the issue was condescending, had to keep following up for 2 months to get an answer. So always check your remaining sessions if you decide to take up a package with them. The therapist Pearl was also rude when didn't continue to sign another package.

    After recent renovations at the SSC outlet, the environment is cozier, making the spa experience more enjoyable. The current manager Ivy is friendly and very helpful, always making sure I am well taken care off during each visit. 👍👍👍
