home
ground
for
the
first
time
because
many
people
recommended
it,
but
perhaps
we
didn’t
come
on
a
good
day
🤣
the
interior
was
large,
minimalistic
and
aesthetic,
but
the
service
was
strange
and
the
food
+
coffee
had
hits
and
misses.
walked
in
at
1+pm
and
there
was
no
one
in
front
of
the
queue.
a
waitress
came
up
and
said
that
they’re
full
for
now
as
it’s
peak
period
and
that
we
have
to
scan
virtual
queue
and
wait
outside
to
be
called.
after
filling
the
form,
another
waitress
came
out
and
asked
us
how
many
pax,
and
immediately
seated
us.
furthermore,
I
only
received
a
call
20
min
after
sitting,
informing
that
my
table
was
ready,
but
during
that
20
min
the
table
beside
me
also
had
new
guests
seated.
in
terms
of
food
and
coffee,
we
ordered
the
laksa
pasta
and
french
toast
to
share,
1
iced
white
(with
the
apricot
notes)
and
1
hot
white
(pecan
chocolate
notes
).
the
laksa
(7/10)
tasted
pretty
authentic
and
sauce
was
punchy
and
creamy,
prawns
were
fresh
too,
but
the
portion
was
slightly
small
for
its
price
($22
before
++).
french
toast
(6/10)
was
beautifully
plated,
but
i’d
suggest
you
to
add
the
ice
cream
because
the
toast
alone
(served
with
the
berry
compote,
passion
fruit
curd
and
maple
syrup
on
the
side)
felt
slightly
dry
and
the
sauce
was
too
tart.
the
iced
white
(4/10)
with
the
apricot
notes
was
surprisingly
acidic,
both
of
us
couldn’t
taste
the
milk
either
and
it
tasted
like
espresso.
the
hot
white
(7.5/10)
with
the
pecan
and
dark
chocolate
notes
was
nice,
i
really
enjoyed
that.
bill
came
up
to
$75~
.
overall,
the
ambience
of
the
cafe
was
really
nice
and
perhaps
i’ll
revisit
on
a
better
day
to
try
the
coffee
again
and
other
menu
items.
