Date and time at the store: 14 Feb 2022, approximately 1755hr Served by: Miss 'lance' (name was verbally given and apologies for any mis-spelling) Made a verbal enquiry on the price for the Hei pints and was told to wait as she was in the midst of packing a cake for another customer. It was noted by me and subsequently, I decided to purchase it regardless. Went to the shelf to get 1 pint of the ice cream but to my horror, I was told off by the lady at the counter in the exact same words whilst shaking her head, "Sir I told you to wait and I have the ice cream in the fridge here. You cannot wait huh". Goodness, was I informed not to get the merchandise myself? No. Was the comment "you cannot wait huh" necessary? I doubt so. Frustrated and annoyed, I left without getting any Valentine's Day dessert (plenty of pastry shops around the area anyway). I understand it is Valentine's Day and operations was hectic. However, such gestures and attitude was uncalled for. It will be unfair to assume that Awfully Chocolate had failed to provide proper training for their staff, regardless, please kindly look into it as it severely tarnishes the reputation and outlook. Regretfully unpleasant experience.

I always like the softness of awfully chocolate chocolate cakes. It’s not too sweet and doesn’t make you feel too heavy after each sitting. The staff at the Tampines 1 outlet are very friendly, and approachable. Even though there were quite a number of customers walking in to buy their products, they did not seem flustered and were organized. Note to customers: the Christmas cake will not be available off the shelf during this Christmas season, so if you will like to purchase it, do pre order.

Very rude staff. Tell her my order number she didn't answer me anything and just throw my order in front of me!!!

Their white chocolate creme brûlée is absolutely amazing! I couldn't resist last time and ended up buying 7, for my family and myself. I really wanted to get more today, but I could only manage to snag 1 because it was totally sold out. On a positive note, we were served by Annie and she was fantastic. We appreciated the conversations we engaged in and her suggestions for alternative desserts that could enhance our experience. I truly believe that Awfully Chocolate has a remarkable talent for identifying promising individuals. Kudos to that! Highly-recommended!

Is this a franchise? They are sold out for the flavour I wanted, I asked if it is available at East Coast, she said - you have to check yourself. Really ???? You can't check ??

Walked in to order the 6 inch chocolate cake with payment made and requested to collect an hr later as I had to run an errand. Came back to find my cake sitting out on the counter instead of the chiller/fridge. The cake care instructions is to keep it refrigerated, no? If I knew my cake would be sitting outside, why would I bother coming back to collect it after payment instead of collecting it immed?

Bought a chocolate salted Caramel cake for 62 dollars and found egg shells in the cake. Did not expect to find egg shells for the amount of money paid.

Would like to commend Annie for her quality -service when we purchased a cake from her. She was patiently attending to our inquiry and was friendly and passionate serving her customers.

Really gross staff hygiene and no care & concern over packaging, one of them coughed into her shirt using her hands and picked up my cake knife right after & the awfully chocolate box was dusty and I had to ask for it to be wiped to which the other one did but the one who coughed said it's actually OK ie need not be cleaned Definitely questionable and gonna pray food handling for the cake making was at least decent, I used to always buy awfully chocolate but now I'm thinking twice

I was serve by a lady , named finaz. She recommended me the chocolate, the chocolate was superb. She provide good service, the chocolate was super good. Will definitely come back again.

I love the chocolate pastry. Especially the cream brulee. And not forgetting the good and friendly customer service by Ms Annie .

The service of Awfully Chocolate is horrendously terrible. Over Christmas, I ordered a log cake and it came badly delivered, lopsided and missing the tub of ice cream I’ve ordered! The cake was meant for my friend’s birthday celebration and was ruined. Subsequently after multiple emails, they told me I can self-collect a replacement cake from their Tampines One outlet today, because clearly I couldn’t trust their service anymore. I got a call from delivery guy today that he’s delivering to my place. Their operations and fulfilment are clearly not up to par, deal with your own risk. This will definitely be my last dealing with them, a truly regretful experience.

Bought the Parline Chocolate cake for a birthday celebration. The packaging is very nice! Cake is super delicious! The parline cake as described by the cheerful helpful guy over the counter (went there around 5pm. Didn't get his name.) has crunchy chocolate texture just like a Ferrero Rocher! Taste can be very subjective. Awfully Chocolate has always been my favourite since I was a boy when they had a small store at East Coast area. 🥰

Quite expensive but usually buy it for gift.

Offer for Hei Dark chocolate ice cream ydy. Went today in person to buy but was told it's sold out island wide and not going to be restocked.

5th May 2022 Thursday late afternoon. Terrible unhelpful service from the this fair skinned big framed female staff. Awfully unhelpful and curt.

Very bad service, waited for 2hours and they cancelled our order last minute. It is so ridiculous, while our Birthday Celebrant is waiting at the venue, we were still home waiting for Awfully chocolate by an awful service. I am rating 0/5 coz there was no cistomer service though we called the store directly and inform them about our frustrations, instead they cancelled our order.

Never expect such poor customer service from Awfully Chocolate! Doesn’t matter anymore if their cakes are good, worth letting go! 🙄

Bought Awfully Chocolate cakes for the first time, got the Flourless Chocolate Cake & Salted Butterscotch Brownie. Have heard a lot of great things about their chocolate cake and frankly speaking it was a little underwhelming, I was expected to be blowned away and was expecting a soft choc fudge cake, but what was presented was a very dense but slightly dry cake which has the texture of a very dense pound cake. It has very strong taste of chocolate, a tad too sweet for me, but not amazing, I can even say Choc Fudge Loaf Cake from Prima Deli is much tastier, 40% cheaper and 8 times bigger. The Salted Butterscotch Brownie is tastier but a tad too sweet as well. It was a nice experience but don't think I will be purchasing again.
