This humble halal food stall has been around since I was in secondary school. Up to this day, it has never changed my mind that this is the best ever HALAL NOODLE local delights in Singapore. For those first timers, order their famous Honeydew Red Gravy Wanton Noodle. The wanton noodle is fully covered with a thick red gravy with baby kailan & Sambal. And here comes the best part. It is served with generous amount of steamed wanton!!! Since it’s halal, the Wanton is stuffed with prawn paste that is so delicious. Like myself, I always add-on the wantons, and it only cost me another $3. Therefore the bowl is only $5 + $3 in total. Those who can’t take spicy, veggie etc. Not to worry at all. Just request your preferences to the approachable auntie and they will alter the food accordingly. If your stomach still have enough space for more, order the combo snack of fried wanton and you cha kueh!!! It is fried upon order, and it will definitely be served crispy and served with mayonnaise and sweet soy sauce respectively for the wanton and char kueh. Wanton is the same stuffed dumplings with prawn paste. But this time it is deep fried instead of the steam ones. So you can enjoy the different textures of crispy and steamed. While char kueh is stuffed with a generous amount of squid paste and white sesame seeds before it is deep fried to perfection. Hope this helps. Enjoy the food there!!! I promise you never regret! CHEAP and SEDAP!!!! 👍🏻

Been our port since young. Food is so good. Wanton are the best. My friends would just come here and buy many servings of wanton to eat and chat. Other nice selection are cockle kuey teow, mongolian chicken rice.

Ordered 2 mains to try and skipped the sides since it was rather pricey for the wantons. The frozen chicken cubes weren’t to my wife’s liking, and it was found in both the dishes that we ordered.. On my end, I did enjoy the crispy noodle HK style - but given that it’s a frozen chicken cube, I might opt for the seafood variant in future. Decent price for the area, can probablg consider returning in future if I’m lacking other choices.

It's been awhile since the last time I had a meal here. Since I was around the area, decided to have lunch here. The food is still just as good as what I remember it was back then. I had the Thai style fried rice and the mrs had her claypot noodles. Now we just have to scan the QR code to access the menu and make our order. Once done, just make our payment at the counter. Service was excellent.

Looking at the menu, I'd thought a bit pricey but considering the quality, it’s worth it. Especially fish dish was nice. One male staff was kind enough to accept my request. Service was prompt. I’d like to visit them again. ——————————————— Updated. I’ve visited them several times, and I like their generous potion of salted egg sauce! Regretted to have ordered add-on egg this time… As for ingredients, fish is more recommendable imo. I’m sure I’ll visit them again soon!

Worth The Try! Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wide range of Chinese cuisine with super fast service. Staffs were super friendly & accommodating. Expect crowd the moment they are opened. The ambience makes you feel like the local, rustic street food moments. There is no specific queue line but every patrons would be queuing up automatically to ensure FCFS. Not that advisable for those with babies & strollers to come but you'll be able to park your strollers along the corridor at the tables located at the sides. Recommended Dishes: Fried Wanton Honeydew Chicken Noodle Claypot Rice

Went here after several years. Sad to say the honeydew chicken noodle didn't taste as good as it used to and the chicken portion was very bony. The prices have increased greatly but the taste of the good is not like before. They kept missing my drinks order despite reminding 2 staff.

Useless service. Served me the wrong meal and after i voiced out, they said that it's our meal. Gave up and just ate the food. Few minutes later, another person brings out my actual order. Tells me that since I'm eating a wrong one. I need to pay for both. Voiced out and made sure they don't charge me. They can still utter words about us being in the wrong when it's completely their fault. Atrocious

Came to try the honeydew noodles after reading a few feature articles. Unfortunately, I didn’t find it good. It was just sweet with a slight chilli tingle and no depth or distinction of flavour. The saving grace was the chicken, which probably would have tasted even better without being doused in the sauce.

Tried honey dew chicken noodle. Overall great! But the ordering system quite erm.. the best word is "need improvement ". It would be good to go there at 11.30am just to avoid lunch crowd. By 12pm, it would be a challenge to get a place in a group. Will I go and try again? Yes, I will. So far the honey dew chicken ain't disappointing 😋 for my first visit.

Puncak is one of the best places to eat in Far East Plaza. Always fast service and a tasty, simple menu. These kind of eateries are becoming harder to find everytime I visit Singapore. Heart warming traditional food!

Came here as I'm craving for their fried wanton and would like to let my sister try it. Ordered 2 fried wanton noodles and 1 large fried wanton. Asked to pay at the counter, bill was supposed to be $23+ but said $70+, it was a system error so they calculated manually. Ordered no chili but came with chili but after telling them, they changed it. Asked for extra sweet black sauce, told me they will just refill it but I wanted another one for my sister so we don't share the sauce for hygiene and of course we are taking precautions due to covid. Came with excitement but lost appetite due to poor service.

Pros: well priced Cons: We ordered beef horfun, Tom yum seafood and chicken wanton soup. Tim yum soup was spicy and good! But other 2 dishes were not well seasoned, esp the dumpling broth. Had to wait a while for seating because there is ALWAYS a queue for this place which I don't get. Food was ok, nothing worth queuing for unfortunately. Will I come back if the restaurant next door is closed and nothing else in Far east plaza is open, yes. Otherwise I won't be sad of I give this place a miss:/

Came to Far East Plaza to look for cheaper food in Orchard area. Lunch hour and most places are full. Hungry and kinda of in a rush so sat down to get something none chicken rice. Claypot rice with with seafood used chicken rice (oily rice), frozen mixed veggies, fishcake and some fish. For $7.50. So much for cheap food. Food was edible, some char from the claypot but the chicken rice was disorientating. Claypot rice needs white rice :/ Probably the noodles that are drowned in sauce that I saw from the neighbouring patrons are better?

Used to be good despite of long queue with big crowd. My last visit while in Singapore recently was disappointed. Don’t mind with price increase and inflation. Chicken rice was bonnie chicken and portion reduced. Soy sauce chicken noodles another disappointing meal, fish yew char kwe shrinking and hard.

Quite honestly, some food items on the menu are not to my liking. May not be someone's cup of tea as well but overall, this place will always be my go-to for cheap food in Orchard area. Don't expect the staff to be extremely friendly like in western food outlets but I do appreciate the efficiency of things! They get the job done as they deem fit. As long you don't cross them, they won't cross you. Food is always top notch, serving is always huge. I'm a female with a big appetite, as big as my partner's but even I can't finish their servings sometimes hahaha.

This nostalgic noodles shop served best consistently flavoured Honey dew chicken noodles. Its spiciness amount of gravy noodles 🍜 beats the taste perfection. They also serve ngo Hiang cooked with black sauce. Marvellous taste 👅 l must say. Fried wanton will sure be kids favourite. Eating here will never give you wrong in eating with family.
