In all honesty, the tax authorities do not need to be located in such a prime plot of land. That said, the level of convenience and ecosystem that is now here, is very pleasant to be around. Office is safe, there are great dining options, and the few ancillary services located here are all very lovely to be had. Especially so with the post office, that's like extremely convenient. Beyond that, to be honest, IRAS doesn't need to be on such a large plot around Novena.

Deduct payment WITHOUT sending a summary of assessment, when filing status is STILL STATED PROCESSING. Super bad experience! Taking more than 2 weeks to check and even properly get back and update me. Felt helpless with their service. Super disappointed with the IRAS service. Dont know whats the officer in charge doing. Is it so hard to properly review an individual income assessment for a working mum dont earn much?!?!?!?!?!

Helpline is not so helpful. I am at the website already but the staff kept telling ne to go to the website to check and check with my seniors. Seems like a sign of unwillingness to help. I also once worked at the contact centre for IIT, I thought the training was quite thorough, but yeah corporate tax has more information. Still, very disappointing.

Was at the Revenue House to pay Stamp Duties on 5 July 2022 at 1500h. Approached the Customer Service at the information counter for information of where to deposit the cheque. The female officer said she did not know where is the office to that attends to such matter. And asked me to rejoin the queue again to see her colleague next to here. After the other colleague has serving his customer, I asked the same question and he told me to go to the Tax Service office to enquire. I think the Revenue House needs to train their customer service staff. It is ironic when they are sitting at the information counter, but cannot provide simple information regarding the location of the offices.

Great location for the IRAS building , which is the government agency in charge of taxation related issues in singapore . Around this office building, is the Novena Square mall with many food options available. It is also easily accessible by an over - head bridge from the Novena train station , as there’s a construction ongoing , so the underground passageway is closed now.

I am not here to review but to enquire about GST registered companies. Recently I have been ordering lunch from tingkat caterers and realised so many of them, about 80% whom i encountered, charge gst but are actually not registered for gst. A caterer refunded my gst amount to avoid being reported to IRAS when she was unable to provide the gst registered number. I understand that costs have increased and these companies could increase their package prices to cover cost and not resort to illegal means. About a month ago, I have written in to IRAS and received an auto reply from the Intelligence & Investigation Division. I hope something is done about it.

The ramp for wheelchairs/strollers is almost always packed with smokers and to avoid my child and myself from having secondhand smoke I end up going the long way just to get to singpost. It's absolutely ridiculous that there isn't a dedicated smoke area so people who need to use the ramp don't have to deal with this.

Always enjoy the drinks vending machine and ATM machine.. Also the drop off and pick up point especially when I'm in the middle of nowhere..

We went today, Monday, to avoid the crowd and it's only us inside the gallery. It's small gallery about how the taxation in Singapore started, how the government used and it most importantly how it helped the country to improve. It's really interesting and detailed; some visuals are interactive si it's not boring.
