😠 Their management has no integrity, are rude and haughty. I bought a package in 2016 and was informed that the package will not expire until I start my first class. Once I start my first class, the package will expire 3 months from my first class date. YM changed their T&C in mid 2018, and my package... Their management has no integrity, are rude and haughty. I bought a package in 2016 and was informed that the package will not expire until I start my first class. Once I start my first class, the package will expire 3 months from my first class date. YM changed their T&C in mid 2018, and my package became expired despite me not having start my first class yet. Their management emailed to inform that they have extended my package till 31 Jan 2019. I started my first class in early Jan 2019, and when i login to book my classes, i saw that the package expiry is Mar 2019 and thus assumed that the 3 months validity still applies, and the 31 Jan deadline refers to the first class activation. I made a booking yesterday on their system and went for the class, and was told that my package expired on 31 Jan already. I tried to appeal, as their system reflected mar 2019 as the expiry, but they refused. I couldn't show proof of the deadline as the package expired and the system doesn't reflect the Mar 2019 deadline anymore. The counter staff connected me to the Orchard outlet manager who rejected my appeal request, and became increasingly rude and condescending as I request to take appeal to higher management. He rejected me and added that if I refused to pay, he will be reporting me to the HIGHER AUTHORITY. Thruout my conversation with the counter staff and him, I never mentioned that I am not paying. I wanted to appeal as it was a case of miscommunication and I really saw the Mar 2019 deadline in their system. But this rude person inferred that I do not want to pay for that class and repeated at least 3 times that he is going to report me to high authority if i do not pay for the class. It was very rude and EXTREMELY INSULTING. In the end, the counter staff wanted the waive the class cost for me as she felt I was treated poorly too, but I still paid as I have been threatened that I will be reported to the higher authority if I do not make any payment. After I paid and left the studio, I received another call from another manager, informing me that they cannot accede to my appeal and reminded me again that I NEED TO PAY THAT PATHETIC $35 for the class or I will be reported to HIGHER AUTHORITY again. EXTREMELY DISGUSTED with such behavior and lack of integrity. Instead of trying to compromise to solve the problem which arised cos they decided to change their T & C and applied the new T & C to packages bought before the change, they assumed that their customer is a thief and insulted me badly. Please reconsider signing up any package as their management has no integrity at all.

I had one yoga lesson here. I like the studio and my yoga teacher a lot. The class was relatively advanced so I had a little trouble keeping up but they really push you to do your best and accommodate all levels. I would gladly return to this place.

Great place to go for yoga. Teachers are always making sure that you do the right pose and will help you correct. They pay attention to students who are there for the first time as well. Been to almost all the classes and it all of it has been delightful. Will prefer if the toilet and shower facilities are better.

I have only been to the Orchard 22 studio and love everything about it. Everyone at the reception is always smiling and very welcoming! The studio is clean so is the changing room. The atmosphere is very relaxed and people are genuine unlike some other very uptight yoga places. All the yoga teachers are very professionals and though they each have their own style, you can see that they uphold the same high standards. I hope to try the east studio soon :)

Instructors: They are such angels - friendly, patient, and really cares for you. They provide options (basic/advanced) so there is something for everyone. I felt at home at all of their classes :) Class Types: I enjoyed the various class types, as well as the Level Up workshops. It will be awesome if they can add regular class types to focus on common problem areas, eg. Shoulders Opening. Booking of Mats: They have a strict policy - doors will be locked when class starts. That being said, when I was late the front desk did help to push me to the next class (luckily it was not full) - much appreciated! Easy to use booking system, classes can be booked 1 week in advance. Classes do get booked out at popular timings - maybe time to expand? ;) Studios: Yoga Movement has 6 studios in accessible locations, unfortunately not all are equal. For example, Robertson Quay and Tanjong Pagar are chic studios with lovely helpful staff but the same cannot be said of Orchard 22 :/ Packages: No frills (towel & water charged at $1) - good affordability, good value, especially in comparison to some of the other studios I have visited. They have a referral program, and frequently run promos especially during Dec/Jan - keep a lookout! ;) In general, I feel that Yoga Movement is a great studio for my yoga practice. Would recommend to yogis out there! PM me and I can share more :)

Studio is always crowded during weekday evenings. There are sufficient benches available outside the rooms for waiting. I enjoy the different levels and types of yoga offered here.

The thing i hate the most from this branch is everytime you enter the studio you are welcome with bad foot smells! Please build a proper rack this is an awful experience. I chose to visit this branch due to the centralized location only. The teachers are good, however the space between the mats are narrow but acceptable.

Very professional yoga instructor. Offers classes of varying difficulty levels. Flexible timing with classes throughout the day. Highly recommended place to stay healthy and calm your mind :)

Very inflexible management and ridiculous policies. I was allowed into the East Coast studio twice though I was 10 minutes late but refused at the Orchard 22 studio thought I was only 5minutes late. They refused to believe it had happened and insinuated that I was lying about it. I told them to go ahead and check all they wanted since it was true and I have nothing to hide. I also wasn't allowed to speak to the teacher at all and the front desk ladies (3 Indian ladies who were really rude by the way) insisted that I would be disrupting the class. Which is ridiculous considering the start of the class mainly concentrated on breathing (with your eyes closed). They insisted their policy does not allow for late comers but if so, why is it not enforced across all studios? I explained that I had an appointment before and was held up and despite rushing down in a cab, was rudely rejected entrance to the class and not even allowed to speak to the teacher. Also, FYI I came fully dressed. I requested for a refund of my remaining classes but was rejected as well. Also, they refused to give me the contact of the overall manger and said they would escalate the issue on their own. As a customer, I believe I have the right to contact whoever it is in charge of my package. Rude as hell. Yoga movement? Zen? You can be sure everyone I know will be hearing about this. Good luck in trying to rectify bad publicity/reputation. Never again.
