Kent Ridge Park Pond

Tourist attraction Park Scenic spot Fishing pond

👍👍 Hidden gem near NUS. Trail leads to hort park (about 3.5km), and all the way to My Faber along the southern ridge trail. There's also a canopy walk, a elevated walkway about 150m long. Nice way to spend 2-3hours. People often mention pond, park, nice, Park, walk, Kent, ridge, small, walking, peaceful,

A surprising find. Not the mainstream rainforest park but a small little one that is away from the crowd. I was told that there is a trail that joint the Labrador and mount Faber trail here but I just happened to chance by this place and was pleasantly surprised. A lovely park but disturbed by the nearby construction. But still managed to see lazy monitor lizards around the place.

Great place to stroll around. Plenty of seats and shade. A bit hilly but you can choose steps or wide paths

Kent Ridge Park Pond is near to Science Park Drive. This particular pond is very quiet and seldom have people walking passed it. Sometimes from 11am to 1.30pm there will be a few office workers strolling passed this pond. Bare in mind that photography were not be a good idea. There often will be a faint image in the photo after the photo had developed.

Quaint looking pond in natural setting on Kent Ridge Park. Lush vegetation and occasionally we can see monitor lizards and tortoises. Also a fishing spot for enthusiasts, though the pond is not that big. Great place for walks with interesting terrain.

used to be a beautifully serene place in nature, now completely overshadowed by the massive towering blocks of the new condo estate.

A literal pond to look at while passing by. Don't expect any nice scenery or picnic sites.

The pond will easily be seen once you enter the park from Science Park Drive. However, the pond is quite dirty (i.e. mud colored) when I went to the pond.

A nice, less visited park area behind science park 1 and the former normanton park condo. It' s practically a private park because it is not near any public flats or bus stop. Large pond with water monitors, nice pond vegetation, and substantial walking trails, decks and track through vegetation. Connects to kent ridge park and then through to hort park. Very nice to spend time here.

Yes a lovely pond. As ponds go it is a great pond. And I have seen a few ponds in my life. No two ponds are quite the same. I should know. I am English. We invented ponds. Admittedly pond technology has not changed all that much over the millenia. But every neighbourhood needs a pond. If in doubt... Build a pond.

Hidden. Not a well known or popular park. Love the quietness here. nice for jogs but there are many relatively steep slopes. You can see birds as well at particular timings. In the afternoon you may see White crested laughing thrush

(Translated by Google) A Zen place to calm your mind, soothe your soul and build your body :-) It's at the backyard of Normanton Park and 15 mins walking distance from Kent Ridge MRT station. I suggest you google the keyword, "That park, that small lake, that road" and then read the essay about this Zen place :-) (Original) A Zen place to calm your mind, soothe your soul and build your body :-) It's at the backyard of Normanton Park and 15 mins walking distance from Kent Ridge MRT station . 建议你谷歌这个关键词, “那个公园,那个小湖,那条路” 然后阅读关于这个禅地方的散文 :-)
