Ironically, Esplanade MRT Station is not exactly that near the Esplanade. Esplanade is half way in between Esplanade MRT and City Hall MRT via City Link underground connection. It's so near Marina Square Mall it should be called Marina Square Station or something. Nevertheless, it's smack in the middle in between alot of landmarks: Raffles Hotel, South Beach tower, Suntec, the Esplanade, Raffles City and the War Memorial.

A performing arts centre with an unique design that has performance over the weekends both in the centre and at the theatre near the bay. There are theatre, theatre studio, recital studio and concert halls that host various concerts and musicals throughout the year. There is also a Library@Esplanade where you can find books relating to arts and culture. Do go up to the "sky terrace" to have a good view of Singapore skyline.

This is one of my favourite station as it’s connected to shopping mall named Marina Square and there is a link-way to theatre and City Hall & Raffles Place:) This area is kids-friendly so you can find many playgrounds!;) During lunch time on weekday and afternoon on weekend, it’s very crowded but morning on weekend, it’s still quiet and comfortable;)

The spin class here on Saturdays and Sundays held for 3-4 hours each day is a public nuisance. Can hear them from the 40th floor of the hotel kitty corner from it like the instructor was in the room.

A convenient station in the city centre, linked to a massive underground mall that connects to other stations in the network (mainly City Hall). If you're alighting here to get to the Esplanade Theatre, please note that the walking distance is quite long. I personally prefer alighting at City Hall instead if I'm travelling to the Esplanade on MRT. City Hall is still quite a distance away, but there's more stuff to see and it's slightly closer.

A good place to chill out after work or during weekend. Seems that it should be more crowded during weekdays as it is surrounded with high rise with offices. Bring here during weekend and it is less crowded.

Very closure area . After drop off at bustop 01619 , Esplanade Stn Exit F...have to make a U-Turn on the left at the traffic light junction . Almost couldn’t see the entrance because it’s among the coffee clubs β˜•οΈ

Essential to access Suntec City, Marina Square and of course, the Esplanade and the Esplanade Drive bridge.

Esplanade is like the Singapore version of the Sydney Opera House except with no sea view.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Changing from the red line to the green line (or vice versa) on the same platform is just much more convenient than on other crossover stations where you have to walk 5 minutes. So this makes City Hall my favourite one ;)
