Masya Allah. This is my first time performing my Maghrib prayers here after a very long time (I used to frequent here many years ago when I was working around the area). It was undergoing heavy works before but the masjid is now so nicely renovated and houses a very peaceful prayer hall. There is also sufficient space around the surroundings for it to be comfortable. Alhamdullilah. For drivers, you need to enter through Marina View (landmark is the fire station/police post) and continue going straight. There will be signboards which lead you to the back of the mosque which is in parallel with ECP.

This is one of my favourite mosques in Singapore. For those of you who are unfamiliar, attached to the mosque is shrine dedicated to the Muslim saint Sayyid Noh bin Sayyid Mohamad bin Sayyid Ahmad Al-Habshi, popularly known as Habib Noh. The shrine houses his maqam (tomb) and is visited by pilgrims from as far away as China.1

At first glance, this mosque looks so small, but actually its ground floor is quite spacious (the one visible from afar is actually level 2 only).

You can now visit Maqam and it is open to Public on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 12pm. See the map to learn the drive route to park your vehicle at the public carpark opposide MAS Building. To access the carpark, you will need to drive pass Marina Bay Neighbourhood Police Centre.

Alhamdhulillah Very nice masjid. Had gone through a couple or upgradings and renovations. Located on a side of a busy expressway yet very calming once inside the masjid. Previously was more nostalgic with serenity and piegions flying around. Now too many constructions around. Hence parking can be a little difficult - need to park at one of the 2 small car parks nearer to the Marina Bay fire station and walk about 7 mins. Sometime the masjid is also lovingly known as Habib Noh. The maqam of Habib Now is located within the masjid premises (NOT inside the masjid itself). a long flight of stairs with short steps lead to the Maqam. Masha Allah.

The place is cool, but need Food and drinks Vending Machines as its far away from stores or marts. The Construction works caused lots of inconvenience and hardship to Tourists or Worshippers visiting as people on foot need to really walk very very Long distances to Arrive and Leave the place.

Stand alone Mosque. To go there it’s best to take a transportation rather than walking, unless you don’t mind. Easily get lost due to the construction. Please help to keep the Mosque save so as Makam Habib Noh. Please visit as much as you can.

The most highly respected person in Singapore. Even government dare not touch it, due to miracle past history.... The government tried to swept off the place but failed... It's been protected by GOD.

[Posted on 15 June 2022] Tranquil, well-maintained. The area around the mosque is now under construction until 2026 to make way for Prince Edward MRT hence the modification in opening hours. Please take note of the difference in opening hours for the mosque and the maqam in the photo.

One of the earliest mosques in Singapore that also houses the shrine of Habib Nuh Al-Habshi, a renown Sufi saint in this region in the mid- to late 1800s. It is the most important Muslim site in Singapore and one of the most oft-visited Muslim sites in the region.
