I’ve been to their old place near Bencoolen and they used to serve hot food like sausages and pork knuckle, now the menu has very limited options probably because of the pandemic hit. My friends and I were only here for afternoon tea fortunately and the service level was great. Hope they can have more food options in the future because I believe other people are also looking forward to that, and I’d love to come again for lunch and dinner.

Very good German food. Love the salad and pork knuckles. The ink rice is interesting as well. This is a place to be to have a fun time with your friends and good for kids to run. Please Ensure you Keep you tummy for the best forest cake in town! You will not regret. Warning to those allergic to alcohol it’s heavy handed but very nicely done. For those whom like sweet drinks, their bottled fruit tea is nice to try.

Food is pretty good with decent portion. Service was very good with friendly and chatty staff. Not much queue on a Friday evening. Cost is above average. Ambiance is quiet and a little or the darker side. Advice to park at adjacent buildings instead of the hotel itself.

Serving only a few cakes and beverages, the Stuttgart Cafe here is a temporary premises for the German restaurant. The two times we were over the past 3 weeks, we came especially for their Black Forest cakes. Indeed, the Black Forest cake is worth a visit, even if the price is for a slice and not half or a whole cake! Interiors ambience is homely. We were the only customers for the 2 afternoons we were here. Great place to relax in with family or friends over cakes, coffee and tea. We were well attended by Rhode and Vincent during our separate visits.

I'm surprised by the over rating of this place. The food was just OK. I ordered the sausage specialty of pork and beef which I was looking forward to but later was informed was not available so had to settle for a mediocre Schnitzel while my wife had a half grilled spring chicken (not so German at all). But the redeeming dish was the Blackforest cake which is authentic. The dunkel beer too saved the day. I must say the deco was nice. Overall it was an ok experience.

Went during lunch time. Food was good. Loved the truffle fries! Roasted pork belly was good too. The skin was very crispy and meat was tender. Had the risotto as well. They have lunch sets for 12++ on weekdays. Only downside is that it took quite a while for the food to come. I would definitely come back again, probably for dinner instead of lunch!

Service was quite lacking as only 2 staff were on duty. Not that it was crowded, jus abt 4-5 tables. Food quality has certainly dropped esp their signature Black Forest cake. It's such a slim piece now for $14++. The pork knuckle has lost its crisp. Lighting was not favourable for photography.

Overall happy customers! Liked the forest ambience. We’ve ordered salad, bbq pulled chicken and salami and pepperoni pizza. Waiting Time and Service was overall okay we waited for 20 minutes to get all of our dishes. Pizza was last to be served. We’d say that pizza was awesome, thin crust just perfectly cooked and great size and amount of salami and pepperoni. Good for sharing... As for the BBQ pulled chicken - I thought it’s too savoury and very less carrots and potatoes in it. Worth the value and will come back again to try other dishes.

Was not a fan of German food, went with some friends for dinner. We ordered sharing dishes, the pork knuckles were crispy & not as fatty as expected, the sausages were to my liking, the black squid ink risotto was little but nice & the thin crust pizza was crispy like biscuit. Is pricey for an individual portion but sharing is ok. Did not get to try the signature black forest cake. Went back the next day to try, was not disappointed, expensive though.

Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique S-Café is a great place to enjoy a delicious Black Forest cake. The cake is fresh and moist, with a rich chocolate flavor and a generous amount of cherries. The cream is light and airy, and it perfectly complements the cake. I highly recommend Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique S-Café to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Black Forest cake. Here are some specific things that I loved about my experience: The cake was perfectly moist and flavorful. The chocolate flavor was rich and decadent, and the cherries were tart and juicy. The cream was light and airy, and it perfectly complemented the cake. It wasn't too sweet or heavy. If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Black Forest cake, I highly recommend Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique S-Café. It's the best Black Forest cake with Kirsch I've ever had!

Excellent place for German food. The pork knuckle and truffle fries were excellent. The pork skin was very crispy yet tender. The fries had sufficient truffle oil allowing the taste to compliment the potato taste. If possible do try the organic beer too. It was smooth and refreshing. It was great with the food. The only minor downside was the blackforest cake. It slightly underwhelming for the price although they advertised it so much.

Place that sells the usual German food and self proclaim best black forest cake. Food is good and is a great place to hangout with friends. There's beer too. The food are good, not fantastic though. Service of staff is good, attentive and will repeat our orders to confirm. Manager was so so, didn't make us feel we should be there. For desserts, I am not a fan of cakes but 2 friends in the group likes it. Only downside is that they are charging us additional $1 to top up hot water for our tea. We had 7 person, ordered quite a lot of food, 5 beers, 2 sodas, 3 coffee and 1 pot of tea.

The Black forest cake is the best I've tried - I've had some in Austria, Germany and the UK. At S$ 16/slice it's not cheap, but worth every bite. The shop was open only for cakes and drinks when we visited. The hot chocolate was also very good.

The other reviews are great for a reason. I came here thinking that there's no way the food can live up to them, but it did and more! I had the pork knuckle and the Blackforest cake. The pork knuckle was flavourful and the cake was sublime. Perfectly roasted, and the portion size was just about nice for one adult man. The meat itself was juicy and the sauerkraut portion wasn't too much. The cake.. Oh my, good cake. I love cakes a lot, and many places fail at the Blackforest cake. This had juicy berries drenched in rum inside. Absolutely delightful dessert. The calories were well deserved. Spend about $45 for one pax. Ambience is good, though a little on the darker side. It's a cosy place. Short walk from several mrt stations, though parking will be a bit of a hassle (try the Cathay or PS). Highly Recommended!

Ok here is the expectations.. u come here only for the cake. Anyway they don't offer good. The cake is ex for a whooping 16$ per slice. Depends on how you look at it. It has very strong alcohol liquer taste... Too strong for my liking but in general good. Too bad the place only serve cakes n coffee so not a place that I will go with my friend to chit chat.... Ok ..that's the point u are where to enjoy the food!
