Very beautiful scenery. Clean and green. Nice place to bring kids to explore & see monkeys. Just make sure you don't have any food items as there are quite a number of monkeys around

A truly fascinating experience to walk around at this serene park. The sunset views were amazing and we really loved being out in the nature. We also saw a number of wild monkeys, which was pretty cool. The upper reservoir is really well maintained and the views are stunning. The lower reservoir is not too far from here, just downhill if you plan to walk. The golf course is adjacent to this park though is inaccessible from here. Ample of car parking spots, we were lucky to find one rather easily. Will surely be back here again.

Quiet and relaxing place. There are public toilets and tap water. The gate closes at 7:30pm and opens at 6:00am. You’ll have to leave there before 7:30pm if you go there by car, otherwise you’ll have to pick up your car next day

This is a hidden gem which is located very far from lower peirce reservoir and is quite challenging to come here by foot, the path up here is long and full of up & down steep slopes. The people here are much lesser compared to other parks in this central area, which makes here an ideal place to chill and enjoy the peace & scenery. There are plenty of shaded benches, some pavilions and a few big trees by the waters so you can easily find a spot to sit down and bask yourself in this pristine environment. I enjoyed myself a lot here and would implore you to come here some day!

Highlight of the Park is the little monkeys. Remember not to feed them. Another beautiful park in Singapore. Well looked after has a pathway to walk around. Good for strollers, little kids and their scooters. Tables and chairs under shade for a picnic or just watch the people walk by.

Very quiet park with views of the reservoir. Free parking and bathroom here as well. The road to get here has a lot of monkeys to gotta drive slowly. People come here just to relax, sit and wlak, but it may be busy on the weekends as it is a good outdoor date spot

Great place to explore in the morning, the main gate only open at 6am and close at 7:30pm. The park itself is very short walk across that dam. You can explore another path that will lead you to the PUB pump station.

It's one of my favourite places to go to if I need some quiet time. Last evening, the family drove down to walkabout just before the place closed its gates. Just walking about, looking at the reservoir, taking in the sunset sights, and enjoying a light breeze....therapeutic😘

Great place for family picnic or if you want some quiet moments. Place is tranquil and serene. Rather beautiful too. The downside is that the gate will be locked at 7pm, meaning you can’t really hang around and check out the sunset. It is also not easily accessible (which is also a plus point of you want some calm). Most people drive. Walking can be a challenge as you need to prepare to walk for a long time to reach the reservoir and then back again to the main road. Cycle can be viable but need to be prepared for the steep slopes. But once you reached the reservoir, you will feel that it’s worth the trip.

Nice place for a picnic. Not many people were here and we can enjoy the food in the nature, in front of the reservoir. Nice paysage, nice view, I really enjoyed this place. We had to pay attention to the monkeys though. We saw 3 of them approaching our location so we hurriedly packed off after eating. Unfortunately, it rained many times for short time and we spend lots of time under one of the shelters.

One of my favourite reservoir in Singapore. Just don't come in the hot afternoon. Today we managed to catch a different, misty, beauty of it! A mysterious looking castle in the distance, looking like a postcard. Beautiful trees reflection. And a monkey leisurely resting on a tree branch.

  • 5/5 M L. 2 years ago on Google
A 5/5 place for self reflection and enjoy the Murrow to the sky! Best to come before 10am, when the reservoir might pump in/ out water and distort the mirror and effect! Recommended!

Really scenic route! I have been in Singapore for quite some time, living very near to this place but it’s the first time I have been here. On one side you have the Lower Peirce Reservoir, and on the other side, the Upper Peirce Reservoir. Really cool. There are also steep, paved hills along the way. Perfect for running or cycling.

A quiet and nice reservoir, it is located quite far from the main road. Most people either drive there, cycling or tracking. There are proper shelter and washroom. You can do a simple picnic with family or friends. However there are quite a few things that are not allow over there and i have attached a picture for the details. It is important to know that the gate has opening hours, don't get lock out.

A good getaway from the busy heart of Singapore to a quiet and peaceful place. Lots of monkey in the area and a good area to cycle, jog or drive.

A quiet and peaceful reservoir park. The place is windy and has a very good view of the reservoir. The only downside is that there isn't any nearby public transport (e.g. bus, mrt) and it is quite a distance to walk from the main road. Nevertheless the place is worth a visit if you are looking for a peaceful place to be alone.

Went on a weekday and it was very serene and calming. Beautiful place to relax. Be careful of the monkeys on the road coming in. Lots of them. Please do not feed them so they will not associate humans with food and get aggressive.

Beautiful place to experience the calm and peace of nature. There's no traffic noise and I can hear insects and animals calling. There were a couple of monkeys but non threatening. There's a short path that is up slope and it makes the walk more fun and challenging. Spent about 2hours exploring all the routes open to public.

Not touristy, not crowded, hard to reach via public transport but great if you can get there by car or your bike. Has bike trails leading to the main park. Lots of monkeys along the way. Clean, green and quiet. Perfect for a little family picnic.

  • 5/5 Chastin L. 4 years ago on Google
A really peaceful place to spend your mornings. You can either jog up or take a car to enter the park. There is a toilet and some seating areas for you to sit down and admire the reservoir. What I like about this place is that it is not too crowded and the views are breathtaking. Great for those who love nature and those who want to escape from the noise and stresses of the city.

it's a lovely place tucked away from the main roads and buildings. most people drive to get there but if you walk/jog/cycle there, it's worth the calorie burn getting there :) also, if you drive, there's an auto gate about 2km away from the reservoir that closes at 7.30pm sharp, and it's the only way in or out of the road leading to the reservoir, so you have to leave the reservoir by 7.25pm to be safe, or your car will have to stay overnight until the gate opens at 6am the next day. i've seen a few cars left overnight there, i wonder if anyone has ever got into trouble with their parents/significant others over this. if you go there on foot, not to worry, there's a small side space next to the gate so you can get in/out without worrying about the 7.30pm time limit. however, do note that the road leading to the reservoir has no street lights whatsoever.

Worth a trip. About 3km in 1-way. Fresh air & pretty green sights along the way. Best place to watch sunset and see the two reservoir - Lower Pierce & Upper Pierce together. Many people drives & cycle in. Running or walk-in is possible too. Gate close at 7.30 p.m. daily. Encountered wild boars and monkeys along the way.

  • 4/5 Xiaoyu S. 2 years ago on Google

Walking to the reservoir reminds of the song 🎶 it's a long way to Tipperary, it's a long way to go.🎶 It sure is a long way walking in 👣👣👣🚶🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ It's well worth the effort as we stumble across a family Long-tailed Macaques - daddy, mummy and babies, young ones old ones .... The whole kampung was there ! 🐒🐵🙈🙉🙊 Upper Pierce Reservoir is a peaceful and tranquil place to frolic under the sun 🌞🥰 on a lovely weekday afternoon - tons of space, hardly any crowd, perfect during the pandemic season. We could sit here all day, reading a book 📚 soaking in the scene 🌳 sipping on home-brewed tea ☕ In fact, magnificent views enticing the artist in you 👨‍🎨👩‍🎨 ... bring along your easel and paints 🎨🖌️ THIS IS THE LIFE! 💖 The perfect place to hide from the hustle and bustle of the fast paced city life 🥰

Nice place to go for a walk. The car park is a distance from the main road. From the car park, you can take a short walk to admire the two reservoirs on either side. If you're planning to exercise, then it's best to park at Casuarina and walk or jog to the reservoir.

  • 5/5 Grace N. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful scenery, very quiet. Located quite far from the main road (no public transport) so if you are coming here with kids consider driving or cycling (pretty difficult to book taxi/grab). Walking is totally doable but a bit challenging for younger kids (about 3km from casuarina road carpark via old upper thomson road).
