we came here for a wedding! the architecture of this place was beautiful and there was nice air-conditioning to keep cool in the weather. there were many nice plants to accompany the beautiful view from this church as well.

One of the rare church that has both traditional and contemporary worship styles implemented simultaneously and effectively. Well done. I was warmly welcomed here.

Oldies but goodies, super ancient places that you should visit even if you are not Christian. 1 of the few places still remaining of the earlier Singapore. They have maintained the place well. This place have the Church feeling if you know what I mean.

An historical church that is so rich in Methodist history. If walls could speak, the Wesley bricks would tell of the 100 over years of church changes and growth in Singapore. How the first missionaries sailed to Singapore to establish worship places and education for the populace -- Methodist girls schools and Anglo Chinese schools (for boys), among a host of good works. Wesley is still hallowed ground which imparts a beautiful spirit of worship and peace that is wonderful. Our British guest who came to look at the architecture, ended up sitting through the entire service savouring the spiritual atmosphere. God visited with her indeed.

The pastor, Raymond Fong, led worship with a keyboard in front of him. Cool! He is bilingual. The sanctuary, a Gothic style building, has a modern extension on the right. Come earlier, if you want to sit in the traditional building. There is parking at the basement. Otherwise, park at the YMCA building or at the Fort Canning public car park.

Published fascinating books of oral histories from senior members from WW2 and related eras. I am awe struck how many members survived immense hardships and difficulties, even for ecample getting married as escaping WW2 refugees amidst extraordinary circumstances And yet the sweetest kindest smartest hardest working people I could hope to know and have as friends 😊

I attended a church wedding at Wesley Methodist Church, followed by a wedding lunch at the nearby restaurant. The church looks traditional, neat and have nice looking windows.

They have a 5pm traditional service. Pastor Raymond is passionate in teaching, I felt moved.

Historic building and a historic Methodist congregation in Singapore. Excellent choir. Beautiful floral arrangements every week. Unfortunately, some of their "charity" programs are only for citizens and permanent residents, because the government gives them kickbacks. It's sort of a blend of Christianity and grift... Griftianity?

Wesley gives me such a sense of peace and feeling of home whenever I attend onsite services. Rather than online, going in person is a world of difference. Pastor Ray's call to come home for Christmas is especially apt for the season 😍

Wesley Methodist Church is a place of worship, and welcomes both believers and pre-believers alike to partake in fellowship and worship of our Lord. Programmes to develop further in several aspects of life are also planned and taught, to guide people throughout their life journey.

A great historical century old church to worship in or visit. National museum is just next to it and behind is the great Fort Canning Park for locals and tourists to explore its beauty, history and nature around this city area.

I had been with this church for 5 years and I like the warmth it gives especially when I get acquainted with many through volunteering for some of the ministries. The church staff are kind and understanding and leadership is filled with wise people. Church programs are catered to all ages and all walks of life and very very active so things can never get boring :)

I’ve been a member here for over 20 years. People are warm. Teaching and discipleship programs are plenty. There are also always plenty of opportunities to be involved and to help the community, especially the less fortunate. Very diverse church community and there is also special attention given to the elderly members too.

The church has Saturday services at 5pm which is rare in Singapore as few churches have the manpower and facilities to do so.

Genuine, wholesome, untouched by the adulterated worldly christian ways of congregation and worship. Gospel / altar call initiated as desired of God and genuine grace of God presented.

Wesley has recently renovated some parts of its building. The main hall has become very majestic looking with its ornate arches as well as the stained glass panels. Come early for church service, sit down in the airconditioned room and hear the choir sing. Close your eyes and experience the peace that comes within.
