Am a beginner for fish rearing. The staff (Malay young man, sorry I didn’t get a chance to ask for his name) at the store was so patient and advised me for 30 mins the basics of tank preparation and fish rearing. They have a wide selection of tanks to choose from, with all the pump and gears fixed up. That was very helpful for beginners like me. I just carry it back and fill it with water. I am very happy with his service and the product purchased!

Service is OK. They have an easy plants area which makes it clear for beginners like myself when selecting plants. But I wish that they would label all their plants so that I know what I am buying and so I am able to care for them correctly and do more google research on them. Every time I ask the guy the name of the plant when I pay, I feel like I am putting the both of us through a Latin plant name hell (not fun for both parties).

As a new aquarium owner, Peter and Nunu have been very helpful over 3 visits as I mulled over what I wanted for my Walsted tank. Peter helped me reserve the tank I wanted, and recommended the type of light and plants I should be getting for what I want to set up. Nunu explained their loyalty program, and reminded me to sign up on my first visit to earn points I can use subsequently to offset purchases. I was able to get everything I need at one place and did I mention parking is available nearby?

My go to LFS ever since I’ve came into the hobby. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. They are the google search for all fish-related matters. Fish-keeping can be a really difficult process to perfect, and there are numerous times where the fishes I purchased have unfortunately died due to circumstances. Nonetheless, the folks at east ocean are always willing to extend a hand to help and guide along the way. Thank you so much for everything. As I have to wait 8 weeks to complete my order, after sales service was prompt to do an upgrade without cost and temporary loan missing items with full trust in me (3 digit figures). Did i mentioned it took them 3 trips (with next day delivery) to complete my delivery and absorb all costs? Action first, money later was East Ocean impression to me.. Hard to find company nowadays who put customer's satisfaction in priority instead of money in pocket first.. so.. East Ocean have my 6 out of 5 stars review!👍

Local aquarium with well kept fishes. I have been to a number of HDB shops and this has one of the best conditions for the live stocks. They have a lot of matured tanks for display and for sales too, which are very nice. The shelves are quite well stocked too. I bought most of my stuff here for my first tank.

I’ve been shopping at East Ocean for the last four years when I decided to get into planted tanks/aquascaping. Laurence and his team have been fantastic, I pester them on a weekly basis for tips and tricks, place new orders from fish to plants to CO2. They are always extremely helpful and responsive, not to mention very price competitive. Laurence has even been over to my house to provide some personal guidance on my setup on a couple of occasions. Highly recommend!!!

First time to East Ocean, thinking of setting up an aquascape tank, I'm actually not prepared to buy anything, but eventually got the full setup plants for my tank because of Nu Nu's help (hope I got her name right), she was so patience (she was busy maintaining the tanks at that time). She is very knowledgeable on the plants and guilded me on the different types of plants suitable for my tank setup. I have never had such wonderful experience visiting and such service visiting other aquariums places. Will definitely go back again. That's my new setup tank.

This is the 2nd Aquarium shop I visit. I would say the service rendered is way much better than the 1st shop I went to. The staff were very helpful and patience in giving me advise and tips of fish keeping. 1 of the malay staff even go all the way explaining to me how to get the new fish adapt to my existing aquarium. The rest of the staff even advise me the correct aquarium card suitable for my aquarium, the type of fishes that can get along together and the right pellet for my fishes and turtles. The product I bought were indeed of a good quality and I am really satisfied with my purchase. I shall make East Ocean as my 1 stop for my aquarium supplies. I would say this shop worth a visit for beginner and experienced fish keeper!!

One of the female staff was unhelpful and hurried us when we were choosing the goldfish. I saw one of the goldfish had spots on its tail (I didn’t know this was a problem when I bought). I bought one and turns out he had some velvet patches. I think the whole tank was infected. Not sure if they had properly quarantined it.

Started the hobby in Dec 2021 with the help John from East Ocean Aquatic Trading Centre. They replied rather promptly despite being very busy (I went down to their concept store on a weekday and it was packed with customers!). John was very patient and helpful in explaining the things I need. After receiving my orders from a very friendly delivery uncle, the staff at East Ocean Aquatic would still give me replies to guide me to set up my tank. Great service and products, pricing is quite competitive as well. I highly recommend them for anyone who is interested to take up the hobby.

My first experience buying live fish and plants online, other than the stocking issues the delivery was prompt and the issues with stocking were quickly resolved. What I appreciate is the botanical names online so I am sure what species I am buying instead of heading to LFS and guessing what is in the bag.

The aquarium is very clean and the fishes are quite healthy. They offer quite a range for your needs and also have very friendly and knowledgeable staffs who will assist and educate you what is good and bad for your tank. Jonathan was very helpful and given me advise on what type of plants is suitable as well as the numbers of plants required for the size of the tank.
