Fascinating Planted tanks, terrariums, plants, vines, moss, ferns, drift wood, stone decor and a whole lot of accessories, aquariums too - wide variety of plants n ready prepped terrariums n they can also make to order. Very comfy display with large landscaping terrariums available. Lots of small pets too - chickens, budgies, hamsters, parrots etc. There’s also ant colonies n the accompanying tanks with various accessories for hobbyists. Very interesting browse n finally purchased a ready prepared terrarium - prices r fair n the staff n boss are helpful n knowledgeable. Will come back for a return match in the near future👍 whole shop (with clucking chickens free ranging n parrots screeching n whistling) makes for an interesting walk about n the tank decorations n accessories will surely induce a purchase or 2 or 3 or more ☺️

I like their new corner, birds are not for sale. 😃

Really nice place to get plants, terrariums, paludariums, and pots and miniatures! A very complete shop. Plants include fittonias, succulents, airplants and many more, a huge variety. they also have a complete variety of wood. 🌱✨🪵 Parking available outside. Plants have been healthy so far. One thing i find that works well for the airplants is to soak them in a container of water once every week for a few hours.. gives them an instant glow up.

I've been wanting to visit this place for a while, and I feel very serene when I was in there. Surrounded by moist plants and botany, the upkeep of this place really made it look like an indoor tropical rainforest. The owner seemed to love animals as there was a myriad of tank fishes, mini crabs, and water plants for sale. There were a few cute birds there (not for sale), and the whole place looked like a sanctuary. It seems to have a terrarium workshop here as well. Great for plants, birds & fish enthusiasts here.

Really nice place to buy exotic plants and fish. They specialist in making fish and plant terrarium. Very nice place for kids to hang out and learn about ecosystem. Good for parents interested in making their own ecosystem of plants and fish. There's salt water stuff too. The parrot are new I heard from a friend who went many years ago. She will go visit again soon.

Great place to visit for your aquarium, terrarium, and paludarium needs! Visited here as I building a vivarium and was unsure of certain stuff so I asked David for advice. He was very cheerful and helpful and advised me accordingly! I was very satisfied with his knowledge and help and will recommend that you find him if you need help there! Prices here are definitely higher but worth the trip as they have almost everything you need here.

The Green Chapter is a beautiful, spacious store with birds, fish, and plants. Pros: - Birds for sale with bird toys, cages, etc. - Fishes for sale (small number, around 30 types). But there are plenty of fish-related products like tanks, food, testing kits, etc. - Loads of plants to build your dream terrarium or whatever else. - Beautifully-kept store. Almost everything I saw was in good condition and state. The frogs were happy, the snails were good... I only saw 1 tank with a dead fish, which is impressive considering the size of the store. - They sell other interesting creatures like snails, frogs, and shrimps which other fish stores may not have. - Rare plants for sale as well. - Lovely aquascaped tanks for sale. - Large and spacious. This is rare for a fish store in Singapore. - Has a toilet. - Sells a huge selection of fish tanks in backroom. From Fluval to Gex to no-brand tanks; affordable rates for the tanks surprisingly. I saw a 60cm one (no brand) for $32. - Sells driftwood and a lot of rocks. Cons: - Extremely expensive. One moss ball (typically around $3-$4, costs $8 here; it is big though so that’s a plus). The store is very nice and clean, hence, I suppose that justifies the high price. - Lack of fish types. Green Chapter is a hybrid store for fish-lovers, plant-lovers, and bird-lovers, so, you won’t find as many fishes as Qian Hu Fish Farm. Overall: A fantastic experience for all. The store is incredibly clean, gorgeous, and big. It’s a rarity in Singapore. Only real ‘bad’ thing is the price but that’s justifiable.

Came down to get some aquarium supplies. Everyone was busy dispatching online orders or fixing up inventory. Fish department guy was kind enough to clarify my questions. My son had a great time looking around the shop. Tried to buy some supplies but everyone was busy with their task. So I left without buying. Everyone was busy Processing online orders and inventory to notice a paying customer. Just Don’t come at 1pm. Great place for kids to be amazed, great tanks and free flying parrots in shop, wandering chickens. 5/5 shop 3/5 for customer service

Shops have many things, but staffs are rude and not friendly nor helpful. As if we owe them sth. Only helpful to those regulars or those who seem rich. Bought 10 fishes and when I was home 1 already died(The long ponytail uncle missed out on that fish in the net and only placed it in after awhile) Pm their fb and after 10 days also no reply. Msg the staff also no reply. They not interested in business. Rather go support other shops. Things aren’t cheap either.

One of our favourite aquarium shops to visit because of the many showpieces built in the store and not-for-sale “experiments” around — makes visits such an experience! ☺️✨ There are also wild chickens and rabbits here as their own pets. 🐥 We bought our wood and custom-made tank from here, as well as many of our shrimps. Would recommend! 🙌🏻

Saw many good reviews and went down. I was disappointed. One of the staff wasn't really friendly. He seemed rather impatient and instead of showing me which products to use, he asked me to go to the shelves (he pointed) and said "it's there." Wow at such attitude. Yes, Green Chapter does have many variety of products. Perhaps next visit, I shall approach other staff instead.

Pathetic online shopping experience. Ordered 2 API products as indicated on their website the items are in stock, paid with my credit card and also for the delivery charge. Called the following day to check on the order after reading the dodgy online shopping reviews of this store and true enough there was a problem. They said the items were out of stock and they were ‘about to call me’ about it. I have closed the book on the Green Chapter, buyers beware.

Place is well stocked but the staff is rude. Staff was no help and got me to move away from the fish tanks rudely as they needed to do maintenance. Hardly my fault though is it, how can I decide what to purchase if I can’t look at it. Purchased from here and recommended GC to others before but doubt I’m coming back.

This shop doesn't care for the welfare of the animals in their shop. Leaving the birds out in the sun without any water or shade and making them suffer

They are concentrating less on fish and aquascaping these days. More like a nursery and a mini farm if that's what you are looking for. Used to be the gold standard for wide variety of fishes and aquarium's products.

Great shop in person and online delivery. And I've bought so much from them. But when I actually needed to contact them, it's the worst. The Whatsapp button on their website doesn't work and the Telegram one says "Username GCRoland not found". I sent 2 emails to them which no one replied to. I called their number 6775 7376 FIVE times, with only the first one connecting. Since one of the fishes I ordered was out of stock, we were discussing about replacing it with a different species, when the call cut off after he said he needed to check what's available. I kept calling back and no one even picked up. He said the delivery is scheduled tomorrow but I don't even know what the heck they will be replacing my fishes with!!! Nightmare customer service.

First of all, I'm pleasantly impressed with their same day delivery of a bird cage I ordered online yesterday! I went down to their showroom to check it out today! Indeed it is an exotic place to visit, very organised and neat! It has a lot of birds stuff that I'm looking for, which I can't find elsewhere! My teenagers love this place too! Will surely stop by for more stuff in the future!

One of the best places in SG. Very clean and no fish smell. Whenever you walk into the store you will feel a sense of calm lol. Building terrariums with the guide of Ronald is a joy. He is enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. My only critic is that I wish that they also sell guppies and bettas. However overall GC is perfect for beginners and experts

This place really was a sight to behold. The variety of pets and plants in the shop was astounding and the range of products being sold here is extensive too. Although the price might be a little steeper than normal, I do highly recommend a visit to gain inspiration.

Very nice place to visit for your fish and plants needs. They have a wide variety of plants, fish, ornaments etc. Very good place to visit if you want to design your own terrarium/ paludarium/ riparium/ fishtank. Owner is also very friendly and explains to us patiently the various setups for paludarium. Prices here are also quite reasonable. Very convenient to access by driving or public transport, their internal carpark has few lots but there are 2 HDB carparks just opposite their showroom with plenty of lots.

You can find most of your aquarium need like tank, filteration, co2 set, aquatic plant, shrimp and fishes. There a wide selection of Tissue culture plant, wabi kusa and commonly found stem plant too. Lots of other land plant, carnivores plant available when I last visited. And bird too.

First timer setting up a terrarium, Melvin and Roland was really forthcoming in giving recommendations on how to do so. Place was extremely well stocked with a wide range of products. Plenty of specialty items in stock. Animals and plants were really well kept. Comparing their frogs to other pet shops who have them in stock can tell that they have put in due research and care in their shop. Will be visiting again thank you for the wonderful experience.

GC is my fav place to go and is the first place I take anyone on a potential planted tank journey. Its a destination location for me, and it has all the essentials plus more - clean tanks, non pushy crew, friendly boss and a rock zone that you can take all the time in the world to decide what fits your tank the best. Ample parking lots in front / opposite (even more in the hdb estate - don't wait on the road side please).

Got into planted tanks after visiting this place so to say its inspiring is an under statement. Very comprehensive selection of live stock and plants. If you have been thinking of creating a small indoor garden be it underwater or not make it a point to pass by here. Guys inside are very helpful so ask them!

Very nice environment, not alot of fish or water-plants honestly, but an interesting selection invertebrates(it has crabs and Opae Ula). The staff is unironically more interested in doing maintenance than to take my money but that's aight.

Super interesting experience! Even if you don’t own fish/birds or any pets, you should still give this place a visit. Alot of the birds are cage-free and just so chill. They sell a wide variety of things for all pets (ants and isopods). They also have a lot of potted plants so if you’re a plant parent, you can head down here too. The fish uncle and one of the staffs were super knowledgeable and helpful, they recommended me fishes and accessories appropriate for my set up.

Huge shop with lots of bird and aquarium products. But the shop employees are not helpful at all. They just point to the direction where the item you ask for is located and don't bother guiding you when you ask for advice. They're too busy feeding their 100s of birds in the shop. Items are also on the pricier side. Unless you're experienced in owning pets and don't mind expensive products, you should give this shop a miss. Can get stuff cheaper at other shops and online.

First time visiting Green Chapter (GC) looking for succulents and was fascinated by the experience. Staff is helpful and is always on hand to provide any assistance. They carry a wide range of succulents (yesterday was from Korea) at affordable prices. GC also has many aquatic plants (think it's their forte) and accessories. They also offer workshops for terrariums. Highly recommended!

Be warned *NO RECEIPTS provided Functioning with just a manual Calculator? Still allowed in Singapore from a big shop? Bought a whole list of tank setup items with Weekend crowd makes checking price on the spot impossible Went home, Did a price check and notice overcharged. Items were all on the higher mark up side. Try old school fish shops can be 50% or more cheaper. Big range of items. But Purchase at your own risk or be firm and verify total price.

Great selection and ambience but according to my friend, the things sold there are overpriced as compared to shops like That aquarium. I wasn't able to get any useful information from the owner when asking what would be essential for keeping vampire crab.

  • 1/5 Jeffrey M. 3 years ago on Google
Nice Environment, lot's of variety on aquascaping and terrarium Went there around 3pm on a weekday, tried to purchase some livestock but am very impressed that apparently none of the employees can help, got pushed from employees to employees and eventually was directed to wait at an empty cashier for 10mins before I left. Disappointed is an understatement, but my vocabulary is as limited as the service standard there so... But if you have hours to wait there, why not?

I love it. Green Chapter is almost like a show room that happens to be a store. With aquatic, plant and pet supplies; Green Chapter is like a one-stop location for anything and everything green. A great store to get some inspiration on your next aquascape build and the supplies while you're add it. Want to set up a terrarium? They can help you with that and advice accordingly. From aquatic livestock, plants, equipment, food and medication, they just have it. Very friendly staff that'll help you if you have any questions. Highly recommend giving the place a visit :)

This is my favourite place to purchase begonias. They source so many varieties, majority of which I cannot find at other nurseries or horticultural stores. I find the prices really worth it as the plants are really healthy and have the strength to acclimatise well. I bought this b. brevirimosa and b. baik from GC, keep them in open environment, and they have done very well putting out new leaves. Shopping at Green Chapter is also really pleasant as they have a chill vibe - their chickens run around (: Highly recommend this shop!

But sadly not for sale.. Though reviews state that it is overpriced. Thumbs up and I wish Green Chapter all the best!

GreenChapter... indeed! The shop is basically like a rainforest jungle. On the outside, you can already see decorated plant walls. When you step in, you can see planted tanks, river stream tanks, rabbit habitat and parrot habitats. You can get jungle plants, aquarium plants, tissue culture plants, carnivorous plants, terrarium plants and cactus here. They sell all sorts of aquarium products, fish tanks and stands and if you are adventurous enough, you can custom order your own here! I feel that I can spend a whole day shopping here for fishes and plants alone.
