I was extremely disappointed when I received my birthday cake order. The writing was badly done and what was worse was the apparent fingerprint marks on the cake. I sent Whyzee an email of my experience and guess what? They did not even bother to acknowledge receipt of my email....not buying from them anymore, that's for sure!

I ordered rainbow eggless cake one day earlier. Fast response of customer service. The cake is high and single slice can be very full. My colleague was very satisfied the taste and cake design is mostly same with the illustration on the web. I think lesser cream will be better.

Had a surprise to be made for someone special and Whyzee made the day for us. Whyzee managed to deliver the cake earlier then expected time for the surprise and they indeed surprise us with the early delivery. The cake was yummy and delicious. It’s the Red velvet peanut butter. Glad to have choose it, love by all and it’s gone within 15 minutes ♥️

This is such a hidden gem! Live near Thomson V Two and passed by almost daily but did not know there is such an awesome bakery inside! Not sure if they should be more aggressive on their marketing but seeing the reviews here, I think they have enough customers already but no doubt why it is so popular because their cake is so good! My dad is a strict vegetarian and often than not, he will be miss out when we have birthday celebration. Glad we finally found one place that sells affordable and tasty cakes! Can't wait to try more! Oh and the staff are really polite and nice too! I fill up the form wrongly and ended up the message was on the card and not on the cake, the staff help me to add on to the plate with no question ask. Thank you! :)

Disappointing dense muffins with no quality / size control. Got them for our kid's birthday celebration thinking they would be a healthier option as compared to the typical fondant heavy cupcakes.. The batter they used was so dense that it became a sticky mass on biting in. As you can see also from the photos some of the muffins barely fill the cup.

I order a red velvet peanut butter cake as a surprise present for my husband. I made everything online and it was so fast. Pleasant surprise as it's our first time trying out Whyzee's cake. The burnt cheesecake taste awesome and well liked by my whole family. Even my hubby who do not usually like cheesecake gave his thumbs up and finished half the cake!

Very prompt delivery (cake came in an hour) and tastes surprisingly good! We ordered the lychee rose cake for a friend’s birthday :) Update: ordered again for my child’s birthday - this time, self pick-up for the red velvet peanut butter, and it was a lovely mix of not-too-sweet and salty. I got this cake from my overseas colleagues which I believe they bought it based on reviews. Sorry to say me and my whole family can't eat the cake because it was way too sweet. It's just like if you were asked to put in 50g of sugar, u put in 500g. And some of the sugar had not melted at all. I feel bad telling my colleagues so I just feedback here so it won't happen to others. Maybe it's just so "lucky" that I got this super duper sweet cake. I end up didn't have any cake (stop my family from buying as I got this cake already) and need to settle my crying toddler because no more cake to eat. What a day!

My second purchased! This time also Decided to choose Whyzee birthday cake for my husband’s birthday, since he like peanut butter, I choose bundle set of red velvet peanut butter cake that comes with customise balloon and a rose for him. It is very convenient and they are fast and also efficient. The reason why we always choose Whyzee is because even with last minute plan, cake be available within an hr. The cakes are very tasty. So many compliments from families. Husband also very surprised and happy! Definitely will come back 👍 Do take note that they are not halal certified but cake has no pork no lard!😁

I have no idea how this shop got such high ratings and that many reviews. Ordered the Lavender Earl Grey cake and it was a huge huge HUGE disappointment. The sponge was hard and definitely didn't taste fresh. It also didn't taste anything like earl grey or lavender. The only good thing about it was the fast delivery (ordered in the evening, delivered next day in the afternoon). I wouldn't order from here again.

My friend bought this cake online. Understandably the patterns look nice and aesthetically it looked good. However, the taste is way below average. The sponge was way too dense for me. It felt more like eating those dense dense bread. The filling in the middle also had little to no taste. Bengawan solo 30 dollar cakes taste way better than this cake tasted. If it wasn't for the looks, I would have given it one star.

Honestly, it was very surprising that the cake came in one piece, simply decorated but had a punch of mango and passion fruit flavor, I really highly recommend it, and now I am also really interested in their other simply decorated cakes, it’s more than meets the eye definitely

The first cake was ruined as the delivery man left it in the riser!! Informed Whyzee team and the immediately remake another cake FOC and arrived within 2 hours just in time for the birthday celebration. Really appreciate Whyzee for the replacement cake. Ordered Strawberry shortcake for my grandfather 86th birthday and all my family members love it even the kids want more. Not sweet and is very moist cake. My friends ordered for my birthday cake before and i love it. So I'm back to get cake for my family. One point is the wording too small. Hope Whyzee can improve on this.

I ordered from Whyzee for the first time, tried the mango mousse cake, and was disappointed with the entire experience. Outlook itself didn’t look appealing/appetising. The sponge was soaking wet. (You can refer attached pictures, there is even moisture on the cake board after removing the cake) This is probably the worst cake I have ever had. It was only a 6 inch cake shared between 5 adults and 1 child and we didn’t even think twice to throw out half the balance of the cake. Even my 4 year old niece took one spoonful of ONLY the sponge and immediately gave it a DOUBLE thumbs down. Such a regretful decision as I passed by 4 leaves before picking up the cake at Whyzee and honestly speaking, their mango cakes looked so much more attractive and fresh at a lower price. You would expect better customer service from this established business but you’ll be shock to learn that Whyzee didn’t bother to reply my insta PM nor my email at all. If you’re looking for an underwhelming cake with overripe mango toppings, wet sponge, and flat tasting mousse, by all means this cake is perfect for you. I would never order from this shop again.

I ordered the Lemon Meringue cake as it looks so delish with its torched meringue and lemon custard inside. It did not disappoint as the cake tasted sooo good and captured everything I love in a lemon meringue cake! Not too sour, yet you can taste enough lemon flavour, sponge cake was light, and the cream filling was a surprise flavor balancer. Of course the meringue was a lovely coat to finish he overall delightful taste. Super happy with my order!

They asked for a review but yet rejected my bad review. So please do not be misled by the good reviews you see on their website. I ordered a cake for self-collection last Saturday and received a message 40 minutes before closing to remind me to collect my cake. I apologised for making them wait and informed that I was on my way from Bishan and would reach before 6pm. I spent the next 10 minutes making rounds around the building just to find their shop unit. There was a customer before me when I arrived (still 20 minutes away to closing). Lady took out my cake from the fridge and simply left it on the counter top and walked off; not even bothering to open up the box to allow me to check to make sure that it’s the correct cake. I sent them a WhatsApp message expressing my unhappiness but it was ignored; goes to show that they don’t place any importance on customer service. The cake’s nice, but with this kind of service, no way will I order from them again.

Bought the Triple Dark Chocolate Eggless Vegan Cake for my sister's birthday and my whole non-vegan family enjoyed it! The cake wasn't super dense like some other vegan cakes out there. It has just the right density, with a rich chocolatey taste in each bite. There were also some chocolate bits scattered within the cake, giving a satisfying variety in texture. The cream was especially great, like a lighter form of ice cream that wouldn't melt as easily. Really enjoyed it and I hope we'll get more vegan flavours!

I had ordered this cake more than a week before the delivery date. I then emailed in (1 day after ordering) to ask if it could be delivered one day earlier. However there was no reply at all. Luckily the cake was delivered on time on the initial delivery date. Other than that, this was our 2nd time having this cake! It was great :) will order from whyzee again.

The Black Sesame cake & flowers were delivered in good time as a surprise birthday gift. Even though she likes black sesame, she thinks the cake is too sweet & the black sesame taste was overwhelming. I think she didn't enjoy the cake but she said "it's the thought that counts". I should have chosen a safer choice of cake like the Tiramisu. Too bad, so sad!

Worst experience in buying cake in Singapore. A total nightmare and horror experience. Cake only looks good from it's website. Actual cake looks extremely pale in colour. The taste so so. Worse is, its all cream based. Cake itself is very very thin - almost like nothing Contacted customer service but not helpful at all.

This Cheesecake just melt in the mouth. My dinner guest love it and somehow it become an advertising for Whyzee as they seem to be taking photo and onto their Facebook. By the way, the cake is quite heavy, so reserve some space in your tummy for it.

Smooth, light, delicious! Even the fussier members of the family enjoyed the mango mousse cake (said it tasted like ice cream!), and it was devoured at one sitting (see second pic)! No leftovers! The efficient delivery and smooth ordering process make Whyzee my go-to for cake orders, especially at the last minute. Ordered the Oreo cheesecake for delivery, cake came on time albeit later than expected as we arranged for the 3-6pm window, it came only nearing to 6. The cake was also displaced largely from its original position which made it look unpleasant especially with the syrup/liquid residues on the plate due to its displacement. Was a disappointment and although the taste was good, I was appalled at the lack of response from their side while I communicated my clear discontent with the presentation of the cake, which was for my brother’s birthday. Even worse, he found a strand of hair while eating his slice of cake. Would much rather patronise smaller enterprises who take pride in quality rather than mass production compromising on quality and customer service.

Ordered their Mocha Cake which was really good! The coffee taste was just nice and not too strong while the coffee infused whipped cream had the right amount of sweetness. The cake also looked just as nice as the picture on their website.
