read many review that commented the rude staff. I am not the only one that was disgusted This is my second visit. I decided to write this finally Coffee was ok but overpriced for that service attitude But that’s not all When I asked for sugar an extremely oversized man asked me for 30 cents. I said then I don’t need it. He was rude and grumbled something that was derogatory.. An very unpleasant experience. pay a high price and get disgusted by this unique trade practice and this person PS the owner didn’t respond that what he is doing anything about the act of charging for sugar 🤮🤮

Not the best hot chocolate that we tried, but being a small quaint cafe in this “integrated development”, it definitely commands a crowd throughout our short time spent there for a quick drink.

Good coffee. Chocolaty/nutty flavour made by the original barista of Mavrx with beans from Nylon and milk from Meiji.

Small friendly cafe that serves decent coffee under the old HDB blocks. In addition to drinks, they also sell some pastries which you can have some small bites to go along with your coffee. Since it's a small space, note that there are about 5 indoor seats and another 8 outdoor seats available. If you are coming via public transportation (bus/mrt), you will be glad to know that the pathway to the cafe is fully sheltered in case it rains.

Reasonably priced pourovers with a good selection to choose from. We ordered the Yunnan coffee, ice chocolate and two sandwiches to quell our hunger. Coffee was well extracted - light, clean but full of flavour. The sandwiches really surprised us - it was all wrapped up in cling film in the display fridge - we didn't expect much from it. But they warmed it up, topped it with just the right amount of sauce, added lettuce for crunch - the brioche sandwich made for a well balanced, tasty bite. Will be back 😊.

Staffs are friendly enough to customize a white cold brew for us, impressed by the strong chocolate flavor, would be better to serve with heavier milk as well. No indoor seat but the constant breeze at the outdoor seats is great!

Ordered an unassuming kouign amann to go with the flat white and I was blown away by the texture and taste! The pastry was really good - crispy, light & buttery, with taste of maple syrup (sweetness is just nice) thanks to cafe owner for taking the trouble to toast it before serving it. It’s worth the wait Flat white is just, decent. I m more surprised by the pastry 😊

Great coffee place tucked away! The folks really know their stuff and I really enjoyed my espresso macchiato and hand-pour coffee using coffee beans from Ethiopia. I also had Kouign-Amann pastry and it was amazing.

I have requested the coffee not to be too sour and she makes the perfect and nice coffee for my mum and i. (My apologies, forgot to ask her name) Very nice and cosy place.

Had a wonderful experience in this cafe today. The decor colors are bright and beautifully matching. The coffee is hands down one of the best that I had. I think the whole vibe of this place is just really good. Best part of all, the location is quite hidden., as in you "wouldn't randomly come across if you are not in the area" kind of place. This place was discovered by chance and I cannot wait to go back. Large sized latte was $6. Okay 👌 pricing too.

It's really a hit/miss. Patronised this place about 8-10 times over the course of approx 2 years. 70% of the time, I felt the lattes were on the sour and/or astringent side, but perhaps this is a matrer of personal preference. There was also once or twice the milk was overheated and way too hot to even hold (overheating milk is an irreversible process and changes the taste/mouthfeel of the milk). Also, some baristas seem to produce a nicer and more balanced latte than others, not sure if it's due to skill difference or they change the blend from time to time. I personally also find it disappointing when there's no latte art in a take away cup (I always drink with the lid off), but this is a personal take. Today's was at a good temperature, but unfortunately pretty sour. Service-wise, the staff are relatively friendly and polite.

Only place I know that serves a Dirty. Has option for either hot or cold. Cold option is without ice, so no worries about it getting diluted over time. Delicious!! Our favourite coffee place.

Very good coffee. Eugene and the team are very welcoming. The pasteries are very tasty too! Well done. A real gem of a place, glad we came. Located on second floor.

Hang at this HDB often as it is near my wife’s Physio and this is my go to place for a coffee, a pastry and a place to chill and work. Great coffee, great service and just such a pleasant place to hang. Not your normal HDB coffee shop.

A coffee oasis along Farrer Road. Roasts their own beans and sells their brews in cans as well. They also serve ice cream. Well worth a visit if in the area.

Amazing ambience with perfect temperature even on a rainy day. I tried the Columbia , Alberto Ramos pour over coffee. Awesome and relished it until the last drop.

Orders a Kouign-Aman and flat white for breakfast. Overall, found the meal pretty satisfying. Coffee was made just right, not too strong nor milky. Kouign-Aman had a nice chewy texture but was easy to slice off too. And it wasn’t too sweet as well.

A small yet unique cafe. Limited indoor seating area. However, outdoor seating area is provided if one don't mind the heat. Good selection of pastries & great coffee

My everyday go-to ever since they opened one pop up near my office. I tried hot white and ice black so far, its fits all the criteria I looked for in a good coffee. Even with additional shot in my white, the milk is not overpowering that mask off the coffee taste. The coffee is not too acidic which is a big plus for me. I love it when the barista does it the way you ordered and not giving alternative choices like asking you to op for smaller portion if you want additional shot for a larger portion which it happened to me most of the time with other cafes. I know for some its the same but I am the one drinking it so... :) Thanks for making good coffee to feed sleepy souls!

Had a delightful takeaway of Pistachio, Blueberry, Mango and a new flavour Muah Chee! All taste very good! The kouign amann with ice cream was surprisingly good! Taste so much better than it looks! The wooden utensils wasn't too good though, especially the wooden knife wasn't effective for cutting...

Good coffee, but they don’t serve filter. The existing shop only roasts coffee now and the other one just serves espresso. It would be good if they updated this on Google.

Hidden coffee shop of the Farrer Road area. Highly recommended. Good coffee, fresh pastries (very special from Bread yard), reasonable prices. Very nice, clean, and quiet place. Frondly staff.

Excellent pourover coffee and cruffin. Good service. But I was surprised of the prices given its a neighborhood café below a HDB? 9+ for a coffee and 6+ for a pastry?

Chance upon this place while sending my daughter for her cycling lesson Amazing cafe and the quality of the coffee is the best

Such a lovely hidden gem, serving fantastic coffees (I loved the iced long black) and pastries (from bread yard - the passionfruit cruffin is a must try). Service was friendly, and their babyccino is made with so much thought and sincerity, at a steal. Both my kids enjoyed their babyccinos very much, and I had a wonderful time popping in to the cafe several times while watching my son do his cycling lesson. A return visit is a must! ❤️❤️

Very nice coffee in a quiet setting. Opted to sit outside which was quite tranquil. Just nice for enjoying a cuppa. (There were 2 aunties sitting inside and watching videos on their mobile phones sans earphones).

Coffee was pretty great. But service was extremely bad, turning off the experience of a cafe’s Saturday afternoon. Service staff was extremely rude, body language wasn’t very welcomed and got chased away when cafe has multiple empty spaces. Extremely upset about my first experience with a book there. Will not be back for sure as there are many more good coffees out there with much welcoming culture.

Gem of a hole in the wall serving up great coffee and pastries. I've only ever had their espresso based drinks, but that's been great. Even better when you have it on the spot.

Great coffee, environment and the most mind-blowing sticky pecan bun! 🤯 Didn't manage to take a photo because it's that good. Barista was also kind enough in sharing some coffee brewing tips. Will come again :)

Great place for coffee lovers! Love the aroma of the coffee here. You can try the white or black filtered coffee and the cafe owner roasts his own coffee beans♨️

👍👍 Another branch of Tiong Bahru Bakery. A popular branch, long queue could always be expected. Thankfully the queue moved fast. Wide selection of pastries.
