Came here on a weekday evening thus, there werent any crowd and food was served promptly. I ordered the signature original pork ribs and rlly liked it, the meat was so tender and easy to eat. The marination of the ribs will have to be the star of the show where it had a smoky bbq flavour to it, which i personally rlly like. Definitely, will return for the pork ribs again! I also ordered the grass fed ribeye and mom’s mac and cheese. The grass fed ribeye was not bad, does not have the beefy taste and it went well with the black pepper sauce. Mom’s mac and cheese was super creamy and cheesy hence, people who likes these can opt for this. Though i feel that it might be too overwhelming if u were to eat the whole dish for urself, so i suggest getting this to share! As for the dessert i got the apple blueberry cobbler, the ice cream and biscuits were good however, i wont consider getting it again as i did not rlly like flavour from the apple slices. Overall, i had a pretty good experience with the place and staffs. Will come back again for the pork ribs.

Walked in at 5pm during the weekend for dinner without reservation. Was able to get a seat but was told that they need the table back by 6.30pm as they are fully booked that night. Ordered food via QR on the table. Ordered steak and honey mustard pork ribs. The steak was nicely cooked. It was soft, tender, and juicy. Although the steak was really good on its own, the mushroom sauce that came together at the side was yummy too! Honey mustard pork rib was a savoury and sweet combination. The meat can be lightly pulled off from the ribs and I like how this can be easily shared as everything is cut up nicely. Corn bread was yummy with brown sauce! The sauce is a good addition as it helps a bit with the dryness of the corn bread. Although the price is on the higher side, I think it's worth it for the quality of food you get here! Do make a reservation if you plan to come here as it is hard to get a seat!

Really appreciated the customer service and the patient staff. My cousin and I were late for our appointment due to some complications and they were understanding and sat us down without much service. The vibes of the place was really cozy and the food arrived quite quickly. Service was quite quick. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone soft but still had some chew to it and I was pleasantly surprised that ribs could be cooked like that. Really loved the fun and wide range of sauces available for the ribs and decided to go with Carribean and Old God Mother, no regrets and it really piqued my curiosity about the other flavours. I wasn't really a fan of the New York Strip it was average (like the sides). Regardless I would definitely return for the ribs!! Looking forward to trying the other flavours (:

Just a stone’s throw away from sixth avenue MRT so it was very convenient! Loved the ambience of the place and the staff were very friendly. Ordered the Honey Mustard Ribs and Cubano Sandwich and was shocked at how huge the portions were. Definitely value for money! For dessert, we had the Apple Blueberry Cobbler and New York Cheesecake. Both were served with vanilla ice cream. Was impressed with the cheesecake as it had a subtle lemony flavour which I felt paired well with the ice cream. It ended the meal on a light a pleasant note. Would definitely go back again for a meal :)

The experience I had here was pretty solid. When my friend and I arrived, we were greeted and the service was excellent! I ordered their Journey to the Yeast Ribs with truffle fries and mash potatoes and it was great. The meat came right off the bones and the truffle fries were perfectly crispy! I also ordered the Lotus Biscoff drink and it was creamy, sweet and well presented. We also got the spam fries which i definitely recommend, it came with a creamy tart sauce which was really addictive. Enjoyed my time here!

Went as family of four (2 kids 7year old and 4 year old + 2adults) Ordered calamari rings -yummy and soft, but little too spicy for young ones Had original ribs and honey mustard too-sides were corn bread, mashed potato, fries and garden green. Good to have salad as a side. Ribs were delicious and fall-off-the-bone Son's stubby fingers grabbing ribs once they are served as he is a rib fan. Had the burger which husband said it was awesome too. Good price (3mains and 1 started for $80++) and great service:) walked from sixth ave mrt, mostly sheltered except while crossing the road. Lucky we didn't get caught in the heavy rain. Parking might be little tricky if it was weekends

Just wanted to check out this restaurant as I Alway drive past it along 6th Ave. The burger is good! Only issue is there is too much bread. The honey mustard rib were great. Will plan to try the bourbon ribs next time. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. I love their Mac N Cheese, very well prepared dish. The French fries are crispy but on the salty side. All other sides served were great. Will come back again for sure.

Service was good, thoughtful waiters. Really enjoyed the steak because it was not dry and the BBQ taste was there. The pork ribs were very soft also. The sides were very nice, especially the mash potatoes and fries. Highly recommend!

We ordered the NY striploin, honey mustard pork ribs, and some sides for dinner. The steak was well cooked and extremely juicy, packed with flavours! I love the red wine combination as it elevates the meat to another level. Plus, it’s affordable ($22). Special shout out to the pork ribs, it was tender and practically falling off the bone. Smoky and salty, and not too sweet! Fries were especially crispy and yummy. Will return 👍

Nice ambience with delicious food, went there for lunch and we ordered: 1. pulled chicken lunch menu with corn, apple slaw and cajun rice 2. New York strip (medium rare) with corn and truffle fries (additional $3) 3. Calamari rings My favourite was the pulled chicken with a little bit of everything. It was quite spicy but when mixed with apple slaw was delicious. Beef was juicy and seasoned well, loved the extremely crispy fries and calamari. Would visit again for the pulled chicken lunch menu 🤤

We visited on a Thursday night and there wasn’t much of a crowd. We ordered the Honey Mustard Pork Ribs (w Fries & Coleslaw) and Carribean Pork Ribs (w Fries & Buttered Corn). The Carribean Pork Ribs are slightly spicy and tangy with the pineapple pieces. The Honey Mustard marinade was also delicious as it was slightly sweet. The ribs were really soft and fall-off the bone tender! The staff were friendly and welcoming as well. Would definitely recommend this place for some amazing ribs!

Amazing food and service from start till end. The staff were patient and attentive, noting when we mentioned that we wanted another seat at the start. Also, the family platter was originally not available due to a lack of drumstick, but they made the concessions to replace it with chicken chop for us. The clear tomato soup was made with real tomatoes with a slight tangy flavour, which stimulated our appetite. The tortilla platter also came with a generous portion of meats, tortilla, and nachos. The pulled chicken, in particular, was tender and flavourful. Everything on the family platter was impeccable. The fragrance of the truffle fries was so dominant, and the fries remained crispy even after we finished everything else on the platter. Steak was nicely seared and had a strong meaty taste to it. The meat fell off the ribs smoothly, and it was as tender as you can expect. The chicken, which was replaced with chicken chop, was also extremely tender and well cooked. Even the cherry tomatoes in balsamic vinegar were well seasoned. It was delicious even for a person who usually dislike tomatoes. As part of the birthday offer, a New York cheese cake was offered. The cheese cake had such a strong and thick texture, highly recommended to anyone who is into cheese cakes. The vanilla ice-cream helped to cleanse your platelet when the cake got too thick. The staff were attentive throughout the meal, making it an enjoyable and memorable location for a meal. Special thanks to the staff here!!

Quaint and cosy ambiance. Rather enjoyable for a dinner date with friends. Good portions with well grilled meats. My favourites would be the spicy signature pork ribs and corn bread. The ribs at Meat and Chill are fall off the bone tender and coated with finger-licking sauce. The corn bread was delightful, sweet and moist without being too dense. I would recommend adding one of the salads as a palette cleanser. The slight sourness in the vinaigrette and freshness of the green salad complemented the meats really well.

Ordered the New York Strip (medium rare) along with two sides and red wine sauce. When it was first served, the steak looked thick and juicy! It was cooked to how i liked it to be- a little pink and soft in the middle. To top it off, I got the classic vanilla ice cream with warm brownie for dessert, which thoroughly satisfied my sweet tooth. The waiters were attentive and courteous. Overall, I would definitely visit this cozy restaurant again!

Highly recommend the “walk in the park” pork ribs! The ribs were tender and juicy, while the sauce is spicy and delicious! Also had the steak which came with two sides as well. The steak was flavourful and juicy! The service crew were nice and attentive to my needs as well, asking if I need any other things or even small actions of passing a chair for me to put my bag on it. In all, I had a really good experience in Meat N’Chill!

Great place with amazing food and fantastic service. I would definitely recommend the food, and the restaurant for its very convenient location only a short walk from an MRT station. Ordered lovely, crunchy garlic bread as an appetizer, and a vanilla milkshake that looked and tasted so good, that I drank some before taking a picture. Ordered the "Old God Mother" pork ribs, which were divine. Though they are said to be slightly spicy, the ribs were not spicy for my level, but still tasted fantastic. Ordered this with side of Cajun rice and Fries that were excellent, and the fries were the best that I had tried in a long while. Overall, a really nice place to eat dinner and relax with a friend.

Yummy food (recommend the honey mustard pork ribs, juicy and tender👍), soup of the day was tomato soup, nothing outstanding. Nonetheless, overall food was great! Very good service as well! Got arrange a seat near the toilet, not really the best but others (service, food) make up for it. Definitely will come back again

We ordered the Bro Bruce Quesadilla appetiser which was amazing with lots of meat and cheese inside. The carbonara we had was creamy thick and rich with lots of ingredients as well. Journey to the Yeast pork ribs came with two sides so we ordered the chilli cheese fries and buttered corn which were pretty good. We received 5 ribs which were all juicy, meaty and tender. Overall a great place to chill and have a delicious meal.

Went on a Tuesday night and the place wasn't as crowded as I had anticipated it to be. Food was good and I enjoyed both the original ribs, as well as the Angus Ribeye. The sides were good as well especially the straight cut fries which were really crispy. The ribs came right off the bone, and the quality was pretty good although I was a little disappointed at the serving size, and I only got 5 pieces of ribs for $26 which didn't really fill me up. Absolutely loved the Lotus Biscoff Milkshake though, and while at $12 a cup which is a little pricey, it was phenomenal for Biscoff enthusiasts like me and i thoroughly enjoyed this delectable drink. Total damage with GST and Service Charge was 110SGD for 2 pax, but I think its a must-try for meat lovers!

Conveniently located at 6th avenue centre . The food was of great quality . We ordered angus medium well , salmon (super tender yet crispy on the skin) , spam fries and signature pork ribs . All the protein was well cooked and preserved it’s freshness. The dressings taste very unique and matches the dish well especially Black pepper sauce on august is highly recommended and the sourish cream w fish roe on salmon !!! Price JS reasonable for the quality of food served . Service by crew was v attentive as well . ☺️ I’m a meat lover and will go back again !

A low profile restaurant that epitomises service and food quality and quantity! Came across this restaurant while looking for a place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were totally not disappointed! Had the family platter, mac & cheese, and fiery bolognese spaghetti. Delicious and everything was wiped clean! At end of meal, service crew surprised us with a cake and candle to conclude our celebration with a sweet ending! Very touched and grateful for the crew to take note of my remarks when I made my table reservations. Kudos to the chef and staff of this wonderful restaurant!

Pork ribs are amazing, especially Journey to the Yeast flavor. The portion is huge and prices are reasonable. I usually don't comment about fries but something about their fries just made it taste so fantastic! Service is excellent, we waited quite a while for our pasta but the staff made up for it by giving us a dessert for free! Only thing is we don't think the aglio olio is good, so it's better to stick to their meat!

honestly quite pleasantly surprised by the food here! honey mustard ribs were fall off the bone tender, juicy and flavourful. new york strip was rather affordable for its quality and cooked to the right requested doneness without being too chalky/dry. out of the sides we tried, fries was the best - soo crispy and mashed potatoes were creamy with little chunkier bits in the middle which gave depths to the texture and flavour. overall, though the place is slightly out of the way, will def rec trying the ribs here!

Very generous portions for all dishes. Ordered the honey mustard ribs and they were very tender and delicious! Not overpowered by the sauce and cooked perfectly to fall off the bone with each bite. Had the truffle mac & cheese and the cubano sandwich as well and both were great! They were not stingy with the cheese and meat at all. The fries were especially crispy and thick. Overall would recommend this place

Lovely chic place to dine. Far from shopping mall environment. Food was absolutely fabulous. Especially the family platter where a choice of their best selection. The Flemish stew was just superb tender beef. Not that pricey for western fare.

Loved the Grass-Fed Ribeye and Bourbon Ribs, and the sides were delicious too! The flavours of both dishes were spot-on, I just wished that the pork ribs were a bit more tender. However, portions were very generous and the restaurant is a cosy and quiet place to hang out with friends and family.

Ordered signature honey mustard ribs and bourbon ribs and a tortilla platter to share. Ribs were fall off the bone tender and sweet. I prefer the honey mustard flavour. Ribs came with 2 sides. We chose 3 servings of coleslaw and a corn bread. Corn bread was covered in a savory sauce which we thought was underwhelming. Pleasantly surprised that the tortilla platter came with generous servings of soft tortillas, chips, a chicken filling and a beef filling, guacamole, chopped tomatoes. Think morganfield’s still better but we had a satisfying meal nonetheless. Go try if u are nearby!

The lamb ribs were decent, but the pork ribs were an absolute delight, bursting with juiciness. The truffle fries, with just the right amount of truffle aroma, were a delightful accompaniment. Service was top-notch, with an observant waiter cleaning up a water spill promptly, making it a great dining experience.

Recently dined at Meat n Chill. As soon as we were seated, a bottle of water was served to us. We ordered the Golden Carolina BBQ pork ribs with Truffle fries and buttered corn, Lamb ribs with coleslaw and mashed potatoes, and an Iced lemon tea. The Pork ribs were very tender and flavoful. The truffle fries were also very well done, crispy and tasty. The lamb ribs were a little more fatty and tough. The mint sauce was presumably served on the ribs as it was not on the side. The rest of the sides and Iced lemon tea were alright, nothing special but no complains either. Overall, this place serves a mean pork ribs, and their truffle fries are a great side to have. The lamb ribs were not to our taste but the dishes are generally good.

The New York strip steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, with a juicy and flavorful profile. The chili cheese fries was good with the right amount of cheese and spice! Overall, a great dining experience and definitely a must-try for any steak lover!

It's my first time here, tried the original pork ribs and ribeye steak. The pork ribs were so tender and flavourful! Also, the slight spicy, sweet sauce went together with the meat really well. Enjoyed the hot and crispy truffle fries on the side too! Friendly staff and good service :)

I had the Signature Hickory Pork Ribs with Coleslaw and Fries. The ribs had a delicious smoky flavour and had less fat than expected, but were still incredibly soft and tender. The fries arrived piping hot and very crispy, and the coleslaw (topped with raisins!) was sweet and milky. Overall a very satisfying meal.

I tried the signature BBQ pork ribs and opted for the Bourbon flavour, hoping for the wine to spice things up a little! The BBQ Pork ribs was fall off the bone temperature so that was fantastic, it was well glazed as well with the sauce coating the ribs very evenly. Just one thing the bourbon smell didn’t come off as strongly as I hoped it would, but still very pleasant! I very much enjoyed the variety of ribs available it’s truly a meat lover paradise! Plus the ambience was so lovely I sat outdoors and it was really chill! Loved it if you want some good ambience :)

  • 4/5 Evie W. 2 years ago on Google
Had the original BBQ pork ribs with a side of green salad and corn bread. The ribs was well-glazed with deep red marinade, meat was tender and fell from the bone easily. I enjoyed the apple blueberry cobbler, as the sweetness of the vanilla ice cream complimented the sourness from the apple slices which had turned purplish prolly due to the blueberry. It was a good dessert, but the additional New York cheesecake given to us didn’t quite hit the mark. For a good affordable ribs, I might come back but prolly would select other sides instead. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4/5

The pork rib is really juicy and well marinated. The staff there were really engaging and provided high-quality service, answering all of our queries with friendliness and patience. The one thing I would really like to comment on would be the ambience and vibe the whole place gives off. It is a really cosy environment that is just as the place described itself as, perfect for an afternoon comfortable casual talk. My boyfriend and I were really impressed with the place and would recommend it to couples looking for a comfortable meal in a quiet and chill environment. Of course, the menu tends to be on the pricier side so that may be one aspect to take note of when you are looking at this restaurant as a dining option. Overall satisfied!

Meat n Chill is an amazing steak and ribs place with great service and very generous portion sizes. I ordered the Original Lamb Ribs with Mashed Potatores and Buttered Corn. The lamb ribs were thick, meaty and flavourful, and were accompanied with a lime wedge and sour cream which really helped to cut through the richness. The mashed potatoes were smooth, thick and buttery while the buttered corn was nice and sweet.

We ordered Popcorn Chicken, Golden Carolina BBQ Pork Ribs and Lamb Ribs with garden salad, coleslaw and corn as side. The pork was really tender and portion. The Lamb Ribs was served with sour cream which really complemented well. The popcorn chicken was very crispy and addictive. The portions were really generous and staffs were very friendly. Definitely recommend!

Tried the Grain-fed Flat Iron (medium well) with coleslaw and corn bread. I can feel the juiciness and tenderness of the steak with every bite of the meat. It had a generous portion (250g) and was very flavourful. The sides I ordered were also delicious and value for money. Ended the meal with a fudgy brownie with vanilla ice cream, which was a nice match! The restaurant has a nice ambiance too, a great place for gathering with family and friends.

Had a Tortilla sharing platter Set, Bourbon Pork Ribs with sides of mashed potatoes and fries, and Calamari Rings. The sharing set was more than enough for 2, with flavorful chicken and pork, cheese sauce, guacamole, and tomatoes, DIY style! Known for their ribs, they do not disappoint, with tender meat that slides right off the bone, with a balanced glaze. Staff were really helpful and warm!

Waiters are super friendly and nice, even provided two small plates for us for dessert. We ordered brownie with ice cream for dessert, it is super good! Highly recommend! Pork ribs is fall of the bone tender! Overall a great experience at meat and chill

Highly recommend this quaint little restaurant in the residential area of Sixth Avenue. Staff were super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. The Classic Ribs were nearly fall-off bone soft and delicious. The New York Strip was decent and I personally enjoyed it a little bit more than my partner due to the charcoal grilled sears. We also ordered the soy sauce marinated wings and Quesadillas, which were both absolute bangers. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu.

We ordered the Signature Pork Ribs (very delicious) & Grain-Fed Flat Iron Steak (250g). The mains came with 2 sides each (we took the straight-cut fries, Corn Bread, Cajun Rice & Asparagus). The Pork Ribs were incredibly tender and flavourful! We could choose between 5 flavors and took 'Bourbon', which goes well with the Ribs. The Fries were crispy and fresh too. Would recommend this to those who love meats and American-style cuisines 😚

Ordered the golden carolina pork ribs. The meat was very tender and portion was very good. The truffle fries was worth the upgrade of $3. Ambience was great as well. The manager was very nice and courteous. Some problems we had was that they only served us the complimentary plain water after sitting down for awhile and that there was a problem with system that delayed our order. Overall experience was great

Nice relaxed place to eat some steak and western food. Their beef brisket lunch set was nice and the ribeye was cooked medium rare as requested. Both were a bit heavily seasoned so was a bit salty to me. We had a quiet and relaxed lunch (albeit late at after 1pm) too so the ambience was good.

Having heard that Meat N' Chill was known for their steak and ribs, I ordered the New York strip, which came with 2 generous sides. It came in a very generous portion (220g) and was pretty value for money at the price of $19. For the sides, I was pleasantly surprised that there was corn bread available! Opted for that, and it was a great complement to the strip, enhancing its flavours. After my main, I opted for the Apple Blueberry Cobbler and this was a STRONG RECOMMEND for me! The ice cream gelled so well with the warm apple crumble which was glazed with blueberry compote. The crumble was slightly buttery and made the entire desert not too sweet, but perfect to end off the meal! The staff is really friendly too so that makes it plus plus points :)

Really great environment and music and super attentive staff. Pork ribs were the best, got the original flavour and the meat was fall off the bone tender, with probably the best tasting bbq ribs sauce i've ever had. Really reccommended. Grass fed ribeye was okay, a little too charred for my liking but seasoning was good and doneness was okay. Not as good as the pork ribs but still decent for the price! Mom's mac and cheese was SUPER rich and i very much enjoyed this. The sauce was creamy and thick with the cheesy being super stretchy and punchy. The button shrooms inside were lovely as they cut through the richness with a burst of fresh wild flavours. However, i would reccommend to consume this as a sharing plate as it gets abit too rich towards the end. Nevertheless, this was still really good and better than most mac and cheeses out there. Lastly, the apple crumble wasn't really my cup of tea as i felt the cooked apple below the granola was a little 1 dimensional and flat. Ice cream on the top was nice and creamy though, so i enjoyed that. Overall, i will definitely be back for the ribs and mac and cheese.

At Meat N' Chill, I had a truly delightful meal. The BBQ pork ribs were tender, coated in a finger-licking BBQ sauce that struck a perfect balance of smokiness and tanginess. Paired with the moist and slightly sweet cornbread, it created a comforting and flavorful combination. The chili cheese fries were a heavenly indulgence, crispy and generously topped with savory chili sauce and melted cheese. This plate is a must-try for BBQ enthusiasts and anyone seeking a fantastic dining experience

Visited on the 09/07/23 7pm Called on the day itself to book a table for 7paxs. Was served by Manager Nawaz and his crew, splendid service by them. 👍 Preordered mains via whatsapps and food came quite quickly after we arrived. Food quality is excellent, and was reasonaly priced, spend about est $42 per person. Portion was quite good (can consider sharing a few mains, and sides if you have a big group) We ordered lamb ribs, new york strip, cajun chicken, mac n cheese, carbonana, garlic mussles n grilled beef cubes. All tasted superb, item came hot too. Nawaz have also kindly offered on-the-house cheesecakes for 2pax after knowing that we are celebrating birthday for 2 person. Nawaz and his crew really made us enjoy and you can really see that their services is from their heart and not servicing just for the sake of it. 🫡 He also kindly offered to help unlock the carpark door and waited for my grandma (who has walking difficulties) to get on the car before leaving. Only downside is that it is not so elderly friendly (The toilet is located on the second floor and theres 2 flights of stairs, which can be quite challenging for elderly) But Nawaz also mention to us that he can help to accomodate (just have to inform them in advance) Overally, my family really enjoyed the food and service by them! Recommended for sure, and will be back for their yummy food.
