We keep going back for more. One of the best phos we have had, and we can’t believe it’s vegan. My favourite is royal spicy, followed by the kind pho with lots of chilli. The spring rolls are good but the mushroom fritter is really tasty!

Com-pho-ting vibes at The Kind Bowl @thekindbowl_sg, a hole-in-the-wall that serves up vegan Vietnamese cuisine! We were impressed with 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗼 - we honestly couldn't tell this was plant-based. The broth is light but has a good depth of flavour, and the generous portion of silky flat noodles is substantial for one person. The chicken meat is replaced by shredded marinated seitan as the main protein. While discernable texture-wise, the seitan was similar in taste to the real deal. Alliums like onion and garlic can be removed upon request. Or you can try their rendition of Bún chả in the form of 𝗕𝗕𝗤 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁! Love the variety of ingredients that came along with the rice noodles (skewered mushrooms/mock meat, shredded carrots & radish), and our favourite is their deep-fried spring roll. The fried shallots gave a crispy bite as well. If anything, we felt that there could be more sauce to mix everything together given the generous portion of noodles. Highly recommend getting some sides to go along too! We liked the 𝗢𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 for the crisp batter and the meaty texture within, even though it felt moderately oily towards the end. . 📍 Address: 71 Killiney Rd, Singapore 239527 Also available at Northpoint.

Good place for vegan vegetarian vietnamese fast food. Particularly liked the oyster mushroom fritters, something different in my opinion. Pretty crowded always till closing (9pm). Food is pretty good. Wheelchair friendly, but quite a tight space, unless you get some particular seats near the entrance. :) Hope it helps.

We came at 1pm on a Friday and got a table immediately. But the ebb and flow of customers means the place can fill up quickly. LOVE the peppermint leaves. We had the BBQ Bowl and Banh Mi - the serving portions are huge. The food was flavorful and contained generous portions of ingredients.

An outstanding vegetarian restaurant with excellent food and truly authentic Vietnamese taste. I was totally amazed by how they managed to make the vegetarian bowls actually taste better than original meat version! Kudos to the restaurant staff and owner. The Kind Pho and No Crab Noodles are the highlights to us. No Crab Noodles' tomato soup base and pineapple sweetness made it an impressive bowl, while the kind pho is soothing and pleasant with fresh noodles and herbs. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with comfortable seats and cute bear & panda soft toys at each table. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. All these factors make it a very pleasant dining experience for us.

Three stars, but just for some of the food 🍲 Some dishes are great, others are good, while some are bad. Service and atmosphere are not good at all. Premium Pho was good, loads of vegan meats inside, but the broth itself was forgettable. Good but nothing special. Fresh herbs 🌿, which was good! Tropical Salad was amazing! Loads of fresh veggies, a delicious, well balanced sauce, heaps of peanuts and delicious mock meat. 🥗 V-Wings was so bad, I took one bite and threw the rest away. It’s a stick of mushroom or tofu surrounded by minced mushroom and beancurd, breaded, then fried. It was swimming in oil, wasn’t warm or crispy, and tasted like it was prepared earlier in the day and then reheated in the fryer to be served. Hated it, especially for SG$6.8. Now to the service and atmosphere… I had a reservation but it was forgotten - no problem, can happen. So I waited 20 minutes for my table to be free. Sat down, having had enough time to decide what I want to order. No one came and took my order, after 15 minutes of sitting and trying to get a staffs attention, I was told that I need to order at the counter - why didn’t you tell me when I sat down? You then order at the counter, get a buzzer, wait for it to go off and go get your own food and walk it to your table. There’s also a station where you have to get your cutlery. There is basically no service at all. This makes the place feel more like a fast food restaurant than an actual, top rated restaurant. I won’t be back, especially because of the rushed and uncomfortable atmosphere.

Nice vegan Vietnamese fare. Food was very well done. You would never have suspected that it was vegan/vegetarian. The drinks and sides were great as well. We had a great time together. The place is very conducive for gathering and chit chat as it is open concept though it is air conditioned. Service is DIY where you collect the dishes after the token buzzes. But this is good as there is no service charge.

Vegan eatery with a focus on vegan interpretations of Vietnamese classics. The Kind Pho - Simple and tasty broth. Ideal for those who don't fancy strong herbal aroma. Crazy Baguette - Bun was crispy on outside and soft on inside. Overall well balanced. Oyster Mushroom fritters - Personal favorite. Batter was light, crispy and flavorful. Please inform staff upon order to omit onion/garlic if needed.

This place is a must visit when in Singapore! Especially when you want the asian cuisine but are vegetarian! The menu is completely vegan and so flavoursome! The staff is courteous and the ambience is relaxed. Only drawback - the place closes at 9pm! I wish they kept it open a little longer!

So glad to have found this place which serves delicious vegan Vietnamese food. Most food (if not all) can be made without allium. My favourites are Kind Pho, Royal Spicy and their deep fried mushrooms. The restaurant is small and can get packed very quickly during dinner. Best to make a reservation or to come early (before the dinner rush).

Amazing Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant I had ever been in Singapore! The broth of vegan Pho tasted exactly the same as original. The sweet and sour soup of no crab noodles also tasted fantastic. Not forgetting the Banh Mi, it was so unreal that we almost forgot we were in a vegetarian restaurant.

We did our reservation a day before our dinner but they didn't capture it. Luckily we went earlier and the place is not crowded yet, the staff managed to find us a table for 8. Self service basis including cutlery. I feel that given the price, the food portion appears to be quite small. Food is meatless, vegan restaurant.

The Kind Bowl really lived up to my expectations. Amazing food and friendly staff. We had ordered the ‘Fresh Summer Rolls’ which came with a dipping sauce. It really lived up to its name. The ingredients were super fresh and the roll had an amazing crunch cos of the freshness. Will surely get it again on our next visit. We then ordered ‘The Kind Pho’ it was such a delicious soup based noodles. Loved every bit of it. A must try. We also ordered the Vietnamese Iced Coffee in Oat Milk. Will surely rate the taste a 5 Stars.

Wow! The kind bowl is so so yummy, vegan and an enjoyable experience. I went with my friend who was skeptic about it being vegan but ended up finishing every last bite and wants to come back (as do i!). The kind pho was delicious, filling yet light, definitely recommended. It was very quiet despite it being lunchtime on a work day - more need to trust vegan food!!

Been here several times to satisfy out cravings for a bowl of Pho. The soup doesn't contain MSG, and the kway teow is a good portion. Add to it the gluten and mushrooms and basil leaves and it makes for a simple delicious meal or snack (for some). Their spring rolls are yummy too. It is crowded during peak hours. A little pricey.

I am pleasantly surprised with this accidental find! I randomly entered this vegan vietnamese restaurant while passing by because the place looks cosy. I ordered the royal spicy (vegan bun bo hue i suppose) and tropical salad. The royal spicy was so good it exceeded my expectations. The broth is flavourful, toppings are also very savoury with fresh mix of herbs. The whole bowl is hearty, healthy, not to mention spicy! (in a good way) I believe they use lemongrass, ginger, pineapple, onions for the broth, as for toppings there is spinach, king oyster mushroom stem, tofu, fake meat. I think all toppings are marinated beforehand because they are all very flavourful. As for tropical salad, the peanut is grinded almost into a powdery form so you still get the crunch from small chunks of peanuts and the peanuty fragrant from the powder. The carrot and radish is soft and very well shredded so its very easy to eat. They also put abit of fake meat in the salad. I would highly recommend anyone looking for healthy and tasty food to visit this restaurant since most healthy food out there are salad bowls and it can be repetitive sometimes. And I myself would definitely pay this restaurant another visit!

Fully vegan Vietnamese eatery. All menu items can be prepared allium-free upon request. Everything tastes good; I've eaten all the dishes but have very few pictures as I usually get takeaway. My non-veg friend likes the food too! However it's usually very crowded so service might be lacking. Do also note that the owner is a follower of Supreme Master Ching Hai, and the TV usually streams their broadcast.

Ordered BBQ Delight, No Crab Noodle and Oyster Mushroom Fritter. Enjoyed all of it! The fritter was very crispy. Similarly, the popiah found in BBQ Delight was also very crispy. Gonna come back to try the rest.

Awesome. Vegan Vietnamese Pho, spring roll & ice coffee. Never know that this is a vegan restaurant after google it. Looking for dinner & walk past this place. Waiting time can be long. But worth the wait for about 20 mins (?). Overall, the broth is nice. Has been fool by it initially when thought there ia beef. This is the place worth to come again if need vegan food. Can hop by Serangoon Garden, which is much nearer.

Service is stellar from beginning to the end. Food was absolutely fantastic. Not a flavour amiss. I have eaten at a lot of restaurants in Singapore - vegan or non-vegan - and I must say this is the best food I’ve had here. Will be returning again soon to try the remaining menu.

The Kind Bowl: Where Vietnamese favorites get a delicious vegan makeover. The Kind Bowl delivers! Their signature Kind Pho boasts a simpler, yet impactful broth, perfect for pho-lovers who prefer a subtler herb experience. Spice enthusiasts, rejoice! The Royal Spicy packs a punch, while the No-Crab Noodle takes you on a sweet, sour, and savory adventure. While the Chic Rice didn't quite reach the complexity of the pho, it was still a satisfying option. Portions are generous and surprisingly affordable, making The Kind Bowl a must-try for plant-based foodies.

As someone who loves meat, this place changed my mind about going plant based! The food is amazingly good! I usually give each place 3 tries to ensure consistency and each dish has been consistently good all the times I’ve been. The broth of the Kind Pho is rich, robust and yet surprisingly light, rice noodles beautifully smooth and soft, soaking in the perfect broth nicely. I’m not one for fake meat but damn! Every single bite of soy protein in every dish was delish!! I’ve had almost everything on their menu and my top fav is their Eat The Rainbow. A novel take on the common thai papaya salad, it was refreshingly light yet packed with flavour and textures! Also, def pay a little more and go for their Saigon Delight Bahn Mi!! I had the Crazy Bahn mi before and it was already good, so I was thinking, “what could they add for an extra $5 to make it worthwhile?” And boy, I was delightfully surprised! It was soooooo good!!! This is definitely a good place to start if you wanna try going plant based. It will change your mind about boring vegetarian dishes!

A surprisingly good find! The food doesn’t smell or taste like usual vegetarian. Too some time on deciding which is my pick and didn’t regret for going for the BBQ delight as it comes with an appetising sauce to drizzle with on the bed of crunchy veges and peanuts! And the portion is just right! I think there is a lot of long term customers cos it got busier when during dinner time.

Vietnamese Oat Coffee Taste pretty 👍 Chic Rice Not that WOW, but still ok. Rice is quite dry BBQ delight In our opinion, better than chic rice, but both are different things 🤣 Oyster Mushroom fritters Good thing about it is that it is cut into smaller pieces, easier to be consumed, and very crunchyyyyyy😁

Hi 👋, we went to this place for lunch. Let's start with the positive aspects, it's a place for vegans, I'm not vegan but my travel friend is vegan, however I like to try everything and I can say that the food was good. Negative aspects: the bathroom is very small and there is little privacy in the sense that if one is used to making a bit of "noise and noises", the customers who are at the tables can hear you and it is not really a pleasure. Talk to you 🤙

I was there before peak hour at 530pm on a Saturday, had The Kind Pho (SGD 12) and Crazy Baguette (SGD 12). Both didn't excite the palette though decent. It's self-service, you gotta order at the counter, get your utensils and pick up your dish once made. It's the only restaurant serving Vietnamese vegan in Singapore that I know of. The restaurant is along the stretch of old shophouses opposite the Singtel building, next to Somerset train station.

If I could have their pho everyday, no lie, I would 🤤 Every spoonful was delicious and I even slurped the whole soup till the very last drop! Super generous portions and everything tasty! Now PLEASE open one up on East Coast Road so I can get my fill closer to home, I promise I'll be a loyal customer :P

Great pho! The atmosphere is good, the service is great, and i loved that the entire menu is vegan. Prices were pretty low for a vegan restaurant as well. Would recommend!

Dropped by slightly after opening hours on a Saturday and had the Kind Pho & the “Crab” noodles. The dishes were incredibly well flavoured and light on the palate for vegan Vietnamese food and we didn’t find ourselves missing meat during the meal! Wouldn’t recommend getting the iced oat coffee though, it felt like instant coffee which was a shame.

  • 5/5 David L. 4 months ago on Google
Unique vegetarian Pho tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of town. Been coming here regularly for a while and the quality never disappoints. I recommend the Royal spicy. The noodles are springy and the ingredients are tasty and hearty. But be warned that it is SPICY. It may be too much for you if you are not used to eating spicy foods. The signature kind bowl is also an excellent choice. You can't go wrong with either. Summer rolls are good too with the peanut sauce. I also enjoyed the passionfruit lemonade. Bowls are reasonably priced at just under $12 and portions are manageable for one person. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area!

Popular shop house Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant. They offer large flavorful bowls of traditional dry or wet Vietnamese dishes, as well as a couple of sandwiches and sides. I was tempted by the traditional Pho, which had already sold out for the day. I substituted the Royal Spicy #4, a fresh spring roll, and fresh tasting pomegranate detox drink. The Royal Spicy soup was hot and filled with ingredients, with just enough heat and spice to make your nose run as you finish your bowl. It can get busy quickly, if you see an open seat, that is the time to stop by and eat.

  • 5/5 李宜Pearl 1 year ago on Google
Very impressed with the standard of the food here. Nearly asked for more soup to go along with the Spicy Royal noodles, which has the right amt of spiciness & lemongrass. Summer roll is crunchy & refreshing; the fried mushroom strangely addictive. The meal is so satisfying that Im planning another trip in a few days' time to try the rest of the dishes!

Be Kind for No Reason. One vegetarian Vietnamese Style restaurants stands along Killiney Road. There, you enjoy the kind food for your body and soul. Natural ambience is filled in the element of decoration; friendly staff to welcome you and serve the palatable food to you. Come and Be Kind. Like the words on the Tote sold at the restaurant, "Change the World and Meal at a Time"

Cant wait for this place to expand to more locations. The pho broth had such a strong umami taste I was surprised where it came from! The banh mi had an egg substitute which really fooled my friend and I. Would recommend these two items.

I've been here countless times with different groups of friends and they're all surprised with how good the kind pho can be! The soup is extremely flavourful. I like their Omni meat and crazy baguette Banh Mi too! The restaurant has cozy and nice vibes, which is great for dates. The staff here provide warm service and the waiting time for food is relatively short too.

The Kind Bowl serves reasonably-priced Vietnamese food along Killiney Road. We opted for no coriander and no alliums (garlic, onion) for all dishes. A good place for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. ✨ The Kind Pho 💲11.80 A hearty bowl of Vietnamese pho with king oyster mushroom slices, beancurd and fresh herbs. Flavourful broth with flat rice noodles. ✨ Oyster Mushroom Fritters 💲5.30 My favourite side dish at The Kind Bowl. It’s crispy and fragrant, resembles fried squid. ✨ Fresh Summer Roll 💲4.80 Fresh and crunchy ingredients wrapped in the rice paper and topped with some white sesame seeds on the outer layer. ✨ Crazy Baguette (Bahn Mi) 💲11.80 The baguette was crispy as shared by some reviews. The vegetarian version of Bahn Mi was good.
