China masseur kept on nagging for their additional massage services until you agreed to let them try on you. I had to pay additional price for the additional service which was not included in my original package. I can not enjoy the massage experience at all and I really wanted them to stopping talking. I went there is for relaxing but in the end I felt very unhappy and stressful.

Never ending upselling of packages every single time I am there, really stresses customers out, not a way to do business especially for a health and wellness business. Customers pay to come here to relax but instead don’t feel relax at all. Would not recommend even though their therapists are not bad but you could find elsewhere with similar yet no hard selling. Their staffs will degrade you with words - telling you all sorts of problems you have with your body but they forgot that they are not doctors lol quite funny in a way. They are just interested to close you more packages. Wrong business ethics I would say.

They kept changing the staffs and policies. The previous staff that promised me the package has no expiry date has left. And now the new staff threaten me if I don’t buy new package, she will not extend my package expiry dates. I email the management many times, but nobody replies. Refresh kept closing down their outlets and now left a few outlets which are inconvenient for me to visit, causing me difficulty to use up my remaining package. Furthermore, they reduced the number of treatment rooms at Refresh day spa Plaza Singapura, making it more difficult to make appointment due to limited number of treatment rooms. Seems like this company is going to bankrupt soon, yet they still want to sell their packages. Buy at your own risk!

Unethical. I have similar experience to other reviews about previously bought package for back and foot reflex before they shut down the branches. Went for massage and they hard sell at this place. The worst thing is that they "massaged" me to the point I am bruised all over. Horrible experience and would advise others to avoid this place at all cost. Loyal customer lost due to unethical practices and hard selling.

The Refresh TCM at Plaza Singapura exceeded our expectations. My sister and I have enjoyed a delightful facial (Indiba) and scalp & hair treatment. Their friendly staff demonstrated in-depth knowledge and took the time to explain every step, making us feel well-informed. There’s visible difference before and after the treatments. Excited to see more difference after a few more treatments. Rejuvenating & refreshed after. Thank you Yishan (my beautician) and other staff for the amazing experience.

I’ve bought a package of $888 for 30 sessions massage of 30 mins (either shoulder/back) or 40 mins foot reflexology. Why I purchased? 1. The massage by a therapist, Peter, was so really good! 2. It’s near to my house 3. Discount of 25-40% each massage session by paying 1 time payment of $888 for 30 sessions! GREED!!! Unfortunately, covid-19 came, hit all of us badly. March 2020, Your shop in Witesand, Pasir Ris, closed for good, despite the package expiry timing is August 2020. Responsibly, a memo was written to us, especially to customers with ongoing package. Thank you. It did leave me great impression! Telling us not to worry, since a great company like you will have backup plans for us. Understood, thank you, it’s covid-19, we waited. Your memo stated : We can either go to central/ west / north to enjoy the same service or wait out for home service WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CHARGES just for whitesand members with ongoing package. We waited 4 months, late July 2020, your website was set up, and contact person nicely announced the news to us. Again, mentioning No additional charges will be applied for whitesand customers that still have ongoing package balance to clear. The package also will be extended since there was a hedge to the operations of whitesand. Months passed, life goes on. The story is still great till customer whom tried to redeem was told, your balance package is changed to credit points of the balance sessions left. Chaim! Don’t know what it means, but eventually the company wrote me an email to remind me I have 18 sessions of either ( 30 mins back/shoulder) or 40 mins of foot reflexology to clear. Today waiting eagerly for my massage therapist to confirm my 3 sessions booking of 1.5 hrs of back/shoulder for Home service. A person in charged contacted me to confirm the booking and all requirement of space or sofa etc. I was then informed, I will be charged 4 sessions from my 18 sessions balance from package. I asked why 3 sessions service can be deducting 4 sessions to the PERSON in charged. He/she explained their logic and we discussed it for 2 hours! - after 2 hours of explaination, maybe my maths really failed, I still do not agreed with their business calculation. They CLAIMED they have to change my balance to balance credit and deduct the session original prices accordingly. So 90 mins of back/shoulder is now charged at $118. When I purchase the packages at $888/30 = $29.6 per session. $118/29.6 = 4sessions! My jaw really dropped! I mentioned again and again, if I need to be charged at original price, why do I even bother to pay the company in advance for package?? It’s clearly because I will get to enjoy a 25%-40% discount from the original price charged for each session! Now they suka suka change their theory and said it’s a credit $ point system and missed out the fact that credit point system also need to top up by benefits? Even if they missed out to top up with extra credit, they shld not missed out that their package was sold for discounted price of each session isnt it? In logic - I purchased the package for a discounted per session price - $888 for 30 sessions - each session retail is selling at $39/49. It’s 25-40% discount. Hence the total shld be charged at $118-25% discount = $89 -> 3 sessions redeem!! I don’t even need to use basic maths- the statement - ‘ Redeem without additional charges’ - rhetorically also mean 90 mins in shop = 90 mins at home session shld be the same! Unless you OUTRIGHTLY, claimed there is additional charges! Then I won’t add on further! I’m just Suay to meet and put my trust in REFRESH TCM WELLNESS!

I have been with Refresh Plaza Singapura for many years. Reason is because my masseurs Grace and Winter skills are good. Jess whom I always being attended for booking appointment is helpful and friendly. She will recommend right package to me.

Talking about wellness .. they might want to upgrade their customer service quality, ladies with black suits (Grace). please stop the upselling and do not stare at your clients if they refused to purchase packages. While another lady with same uniform keep on starring and utter some words which I do not understand because I do not speak their language. Seriously...not quite a moment of wellness at all! The product and service will do the selling, no need to be too pushy. It is crucial to highlight what makes your service personal & how you can meet your customer's need. Price is to high for such set up. We went to plaza Singapura branch, therapist are pretty okay but still to be train how to remain calm during treatment session. Pushing your client's bed here and there without alerting them - not good at all. I really hope hope they will improve.

Winter ‘s massage is quite good but the hard selling does get on my nerves. Used to be more affordable and less hard selling (years ago). They promote their massage and whatever products as tcm but I really doubt the credibility. I just go cuz the massage is quite good... don’t think I wanna renew my package. I was offered 1h session (supposedly some better deep tissue massage with ‘better’ oil) @ about $138... think can get other less expensive ones at less stressful places.

I would never go to this outlet. Sent them a picture prior to booking and told them I wanna do that particular treatment. They said okay. But when I was there, they said they saw the picture wrongly and they did not have that service. How is it possible to see wrongly? It’s so obvious as the picture to have image of the type of services expected in that treatment. Hence I was abit suspicious. But since I was there, i decided to try their recommended treatment. After the treatment, then comes the hard sell. And when i said i wanna go back and consider, i could feel the face of the therapist immediately change. Pls , it’s >$1000 for 6 sessions. They even try to hard sell me a buy 1 get 1 package where i can bring my friend to use it. But my friend can go for the trial session which a lot cheaprer. Who on earth will pay for more expensive stuff. The lady was speechless. At the check out counter, was told i will receive a $10 voucher if i do a review for them. Once done, the hard selling came back immediately. In the end, I didn’t not receive any review voucher. At that point, i just wanna quickly pay and leave the outlet, i can’t think of anything. This is the stress they gave. The whole experience was not pleasant one i can say. Please look through the reviews before going.

Very good massage and bojin. Strength is good and bojin pressure on point. Minus 2 stars as the room felt a little small and crampy, and I will also prefer if the therapist was wearing a mask while doing the bojin as she was talking right on top of my face.

Great experience @ Plaza Singapore Refresh Day Spa, recommended! Cozy environment and friendly staff. The traditional massage was so soothing that I fell asleep. They also offered me a cup of ginger tea and a pcs of free wormwood soap after the massage!

You definitely can get a better massage at a better price elsewhere, without people guilt tripping you to sign their packages. Don’t find this place very ethical in their business model.

Went for my first tou dao tang as I have oily and sometimes itchy scalp. I was explained in detail at each step and what the benefits are. The whole experience was pleasant and I felt asleep after the ‘1st soup’! The head massage was very soothing and therapeutic. 👍

It's been yrs since I go to em due to COVID. But I am still satisfied with the bojin massage I just had. I feel refreshed as what the brand speaks about!

Standard dropping . Several experienced masseurs have quit and long-time customers are left behind with packages to clear without the familiar masseurs . Hope the Mgt seriously address this and work out some fair outcome eg refund , especially for the old patrons.

I had a fantastic experience here today at Refresh TCM wellness. Their procedures were very professional and detailed, which I truly appreciate. The entire process was painless and enjoyable, where I was soaked in herbs and given a massage, reducing my bloatedness. The entire procedure took an hour and I truly enjoyed the session which afterwards made my body feel very comfortable and refreshed.

I recently visited the TCM Wellness Clinic seeking relief from my humidity-related pain and menstrual discomfort. I must say that the treatment recommended to me by the clinic has proven to be remarkably efficient. The clinic recommended a treatment involving technology-based moxibustion. This method utilizes intelligent control heat therapy to deeply penetrate the affected areas and effectively address the underlying causes of my pain. I was amazed to learn that this treatment is equivalent to 10 sessions of traditional moxibustion. Highly recommeded!

I had tried the TCM Slim plus package which comes together with slimming tuina, acupuncture and magnetic slimming therapy. I feel very comfortable and relaxing throughout the whole treatment process. The experience is nice and my waistline has decreased from 21cm to 19cm. Not only help with slimming, the treatment also helps to clear the meridians, boost metabolism rate, promotes blood circulation and relieves stress and muscle soreness due to work. The service is very good, the TCM doctor team is very professional and helpful! Definitely recommend and will come back to support!

This is a great place for traditional massage and the staff are really lovely. We went there twice for the 2 hour package which was so good, I didn't want it to end. Great all round, and super therapeutic.

Herbal bath session was very soothing and it healed some of my body aches. The staff, Winter, understands client’s needs well.

Did a cleansing scalp treatment and the result was good. The therapist Eliz helped to carefully wash the hair and advise on the process. A good experience!
