Last
week
I
went
for
the
standard
first
aid
course.
The
main
trainer
was
quite
good,
she
was
knowledgeable
and
patient.
However,
on
the
last
day
of
practical,
myself
and
another
participant
were
paired
with
a
spectacles
wearing
trainer
named
Mr
Liu.
When
I
did
my
CPR
on
the
dummy,
he
commented
that
i
was
too
fat
and
needed
to
lose
weight
in
order
to
do
the
CPR
properly.
I
was
shocked
as
no
one
had
been
so
rude
to
me
since
the
SAF
army
days.
Liu
continued
to
berate
myself
and
my
fellow
attendee,
saying
how
subpar
our
skills
were
at
CPR
and
first
aid.
He
then
failed
us
and
made
us
repeat
the
test
on
the
spot.
Another
participant
who
was
deemed
to
be
more
competent
than
myself
was
also
not
spared
from
his
rudeness,
telling
him
that
in
a
'real
life
situation,
please
don't
cause
people
to
die'.
Liu
then
treated
the
3
of
us
attendees
like
children,
saying
that
he
only
allowed
us
to
pass
because
'the
course
was
designed
this
way'.
I
was
too
upset
and
shocked
to
report
him
to
the
chief
trainer
on
the
spot.
I
also
did
not
want
to
risk
failing
my
first
aid
course
and
forfeiting
my
payment.
However,
should
i
need
to
renew
my
first
aid
in
2
years,
I
am
considering
to
not
renew
it
and
just
letting
the
validity
expire
and
retaking
it
with
another
organization
should
trainers
like
Liu
be
allowed
to
teach
at
St.
John.
He
is
the
most
insulting,
demeaning
trainer
i
have
met
in
my
whole
life
who
thinks
this
is
the
SAF
and
all
we
participants
wanted
was
to
be
given
a
fair
chance
to
learn
without
being
insulted.
I
hope
Saint
John
Singapore
looks
into
this,
if
not,
you
guys
are
going
to
lose
more
students
in
the
years
to
come.
