A small coffee place with big impact of my coffee experience. Probably by far, the best coffee I had in Singapore. They really know their coffee and make the best of it. The Ethiopian bean (single origin) gives the fullness of the flavour, well balanced, perfect body. The flatwhite i had : smooth, beautiful texture, perfect temperature. They also introduce different bean in spacial occasion. How I wish you would have at least one more house (either blend or single origin) for customer to choose. Staffs are super friendly. I'm so happy that I live nearby. My favourite coffee place :) Well done!!

Enjoyable experience with double shot, had an iced white with oat milk using beans from Ethiopia and it was quite delicious! Full bodied and also very creamy. Staff also were incredibly friendly - would definitely recommend to get your coffee fix here. Aesthetic is quite simple and minimalistic, with only a few stools outside their workstation - so not really a place to sit down and study but rather just enjoying a short moment / pit stop.

I’ve been a few times but usually I forgot to take a photo and well now I’m finally writing a review. Honestly one of the best gems in the CBD, tbh it’s still decently priced but well made coffee and superb service. You can’t go wrong with their espresso, white or iced coffees. Really depends on your mood. I also went to their new store at kampong bahru, amazing spot. Looks like I’ll keep coming back 😊 wish I was working nearby then I’ll be a regular.

Small take-away coffee shop. No inside seating, but there are some benches outside at covered walkway by Shenton Way. Very friendly staff. They brought my espresso outside and came again outside to ask how the espresso was. Only one choice of beans. More fruity. I prefer nutty, but that’s my personal choice (maybe they can consider offering two choices). Some pastry food options. Overall, a good place for a quick coffee when you are in the neighborhood. Was thinking of giving it a 4 due to limited seating / options but because of friendly staff and overall good taste of coffee, I gave it a 5.

Great coffee! Rode passed a few times without trying, today we finally made an effort to stop by to try it out! I have always thought this was the Double Shot that I known 7-8 years back when it was located at Ann Siang Hill. But it a totally different shop. Oh wells they both serves great coffee nonetheless. Today we had the coffee bean from Brasil, beans were roasted in Berlin. I am guessing the beans were pretty washed. But to be fair I had ice long black, so the taste may not be so accurate when it comes to tasting it with ice. However I still love the coffee! The acidic of the coffee was just nice for me. Hint of chocolate and berries were tasted from my cuppa! The lady from the shop came to us to explain the origin of the beans and roasters. Very friendly staff and nice customer service! Great coffee! Looking forward for the next batch of beans from them, as they changes theirs beans every fortnight! Will ride pass soon!

Been here countless times but didn’t do a review. Friendly people behind the counter as always. You can see the pride and enthusiasm they have when they introduce the products in store. Coffee was great as well. White was perfectly proportionate of espresso to milk. It is mostly a takeaway coffee place but they do have a bench outside.

One of the best coffee shops in Singapore, we loved the coffee and the service was excellent. If I lived in Singapore this would be my coffee stop everyday.

Was in the vicinity on a Saturday, looking for a solid coffee/cafe area to kill some time and found this lovely place on google maps. It’s a little out of the way, tucked among the few shops below Eon Shenton, but it was also precisely because of the location that I was able to sip on my iced mocha in peace. The coffee was great, with a perfect amount of ice that didn’t overly dilute the drink even right till the end. The barrister was super friendly too, even checking on how I liked my drink as I sat outside. I always find it lovely to have a chat with the barrister as it gives the X factor to any cup of coffee, and if you are like me, I’m sure you will find it here too :)

Was served by a very pleasant gentlemen and had a well made espresso by the lady barista. The nice lad took his time to share about the cafe and the coffee that they serve. He also took the effort to check with me if the coffee was alright and further informed me of their other offerings and etc. Appreciate the simple yet awesome gestures and service today! Cheers!

If your idea of atmosphere is sitting on a tiny bench in an alley and seeing the world go by, then yes, this is the hole in the wall coffee place you've got it try. Enthusiastic and welcomes feedback on their coffee.

In a city awash with artisan roasters, up market coffee shops and hawker stalls selling cheap kopi-o, Double Shot is a beacon of quality in a very crowded market. I visited 3 times in the short time whilst in the city. Each time, the coffee was incredible. Super friendly barrista's. The chap I met (who studied at Manchester Uni) remembered our order and was happy to chat. If you want incredible coffee, no preteniousness, from a friendly and passionate team, look no further. Cannot recommend enough!

Love this little spot for excellent coffee. One of the best Iced White by far; smooth, creamy and a nice amount of bitterness. The staff are really friendly and sweet too. They do have some pastries in the morning as well, and they're worth a try. Quite liked the Praline Twist 😊

Best mocha I’ve ever tried so far! The employees are both very friendly and attentive to our needs! Nice sitting place but would be much better if there were 2 or 3 small small tables!

Had a Flat White. They serve 9 oz for $6 which is an attractive price. The coffee is good with right intensity and roast. Columbian beans mixed with some other African arabicas.

I’ve always walked past the place not knowing why there’s a wait and a crowd. Finally tried it myself. Such clean aftertaste and fragrant coffees. I’m sold. I bought their in-house beans and liking it a lot

One of the best coffees in town. Amazing love and attention goes into preparing the coffee, the people running the cafe are super passionate about what they make and are a very friendly set of folks. Really enjoyed their barista skills and their choice of coffee beans /roasters. They also run experimental guest beans for customers to try so they can obtain realtime feedback about choosing beans in their regular menu. Overall, this is a must-try place for coffee lovers.

Great coffee, double shot that is very well calibrated. Friendly staff who will always share details on the coffee beans used. Oat milk option available. They have guests beans biweekly on Sat and Mon so there is always something new to try. Always looking forward to the coffee, keep up the good work!

Have had many coffees in many cafes in many countries over the years - but this cafe really is something quite uncommon. It's a very small space with no seating space - but the coffee is really different-tasting and delicious. It really makes you slow down and appreciate the drink. Service is friendly and warm. Must have been tough operating a cafe in the CBD during such a period - support these guys!

It's quite silly that I've grown to love this establishment the few opportunities I had to visit them, when I'm a chai-drinker, not a coffee drinker. But that hasn't stopped me from experiencing (and revelling in) their incredibly warm and welcoming attitudes. My colleagues and girlfriend absolutely love their coffee though! I super duper appreciate the amount of effort they take in remembering their customers and being patient and engaging even if they're busy, so even though my workplace is shifting away, I'll definitely come to visit them whenever I can!

Phenomenal! I visited a couple of times during my last trip to Singy and was amazed by how consistently they served up near-perfect espresso. On top of that the staff are a delight and their pastries are easily comparable with what I get in Paris. 10/10 would recommend 👌

I really love the coffee here. Beautiful aroma and amazing taste. Everytime they hand you your coffee, they will explain what they are serving and that is an amazing service quality and a really nice personal touch to the whole coffee experience.

Consistently good coffee, every time. The barista would also explain the beans favour when no other customers are waiting. Can learn quite a bit from them as well.

i don’t usually leave reviews but this place is so cute!!! walked by randomly and ordered an iced long black. the coffee was awesome, very fragrant and on the sour side (i personally prefer bitter coffee, it was still rly nice tho). top notch service also— the baristas greet u personally and introduce their coffee in detail to you. the place is quite small so there’s limited to no seating, but the area around is nice, can just take ur coffee and walk around :)) overall wonderful experience, will drop by again!

Lovely baristas, especially the lady at the counter, who were so nice to us and kept giving us recommendations based on our preference. It’s a small outlet, so we weren’t able to hang around much. I love the oat mocha, it tastes really good and gives Alchemist a tough competition 😬 will come back again

A chic and simple coffee shop with friendly baristas for a quick "touch & go" cup of joe. The 7oz white I had was pretty good, the milk was nicely textured and the coffee gave a balanced flavor, although I would prefer a cup with a stronger intensity. I did also try their retail coffee beans from Brazil origin, out of the semi-carbonic maceration process and roasted in Copenhagen. The roast profile is rather on the lighter side per the usual espresso beans standard and the flavor is quite distinctive, which offered me a bright cup of espresso with a strong hint of acidity. Planning to do a pour-over tomorrow, which I think this type of coffee is more suitable for. Definitely a unique experience but for $36 per 150g, it's kinda too pricey and one would expect something more special. The only downside is that, they have a very limited space with just a few stools to sit down and enjoy the coffee.

Good coffee, even better service - Carmen, Nicole and (sorry I don't know the name of the male barista) are truly SO nice, lovely and wonderful. They always make my day better although I only come down to the place once in a while. And the kind baristas even remember who you are!! Thanks for always making the CBD a little happier, Double Shot Coffee! - Dini :)

For those no fuss grab & go drinker! Beans are rotational. I’m always looking forward to what the barista offered in my cup!

Default for the 4, 7 and 9 oz whites is a double shot. Regular beans for espresso-based drinks from local roaster Compound Coffee. Guest beans from overseas roasters on some Saturdays and Mondays. Uses Meiji milk. Great service. This latest 7 oz white (Ethiopia Kochere) had blueberry, chocolate notes though the flavour could be a little more vibrant and robust. From earlier visits: 7 oz white: Ethiopia Kochere - blueberry notes. Ethiopia Boledu (roasted by La Cabra of Denmark) - winey, grape and blueberry notes. Chaman Colombia Cauca (roasted by Manhattan Coffee Roasters) - red apple notes and a chocolate aftertaste. Mexico San Antonio - orange chocolate notes. Ethiopia Guji Gigesa - blueberry notes. Brazil Paiolinho (roasted by Danish roaster La Cabra) - chocolaty, nutty notes. Papua New Guinea Arufa Natural - winey, fruity notes. 9 oz white: Ethiopia Haru Suke - blueberry, winey notes. Filter: Colombia Salma Bermudez (roasted by Manhattan Coffee Roasters of Rotterdam) - mango notes.
