So you decided to visit Zerah Coffee Roasters. Wrong. You have been visited and you have become coffee. You want body? You gain the whole world. Looking for balance? Justice is served. You want sweetness? You are loved. Elegance? Class. Complexity? Listen up— I heard the one brewing your coffee is a Physics graduate who accidentally proved the existence of smooth solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations during his conquest for smooth coffee. Don’t take my word for it. Check it out yourself, but don’t come crying to me when you found out you underwent metamorphosis and became coffee. Oh, the coffee here is pretty good too, 10/10 would recommend. Cheers

Out of this world latte. The flavours were awesome. The shot was extracted with care, milk frothed to the right consistency & at the perfect temperature. Air conditioning was blasting and that’s a real bonus for hot and humid Singapore. Staff was very courteous and welcoming. P.s : Cafe can be a little tricky to find but don’t give up till you find it!

Secret Gem in Jalan Besar Area 💎 The coffee is right on point and worth every penny. This shop is cosy and has very zen and clean look and feel. The owner is super friendly and approachable and even went extra mile to explain about different types of coffee. Their beans are also available for purchase on their website. Would definitely recommend you to check their beans out if you are interested and definitely worth dropping by if you are around the area. 👍

The go-to place for a proper iced white, plus a no-frills, chill environment to enjoy it in. Like many others who have reviewed, excellent 5 🌟 coffee. Boasts an exquisite flavour that I don't think many a mainstream coffee place can compete with. Only suggestion for this place is for the air conditioning to be slightly cooler. :)

New minimalist cafe hidden on the second floor of an old estate. Their banana cake taste great even though it crumbles easily. Good if they also use a bigger ice cube for their ice coffee to slow down the dilution.

Small and cosy cafe hidden in the hdb area.. it’s at level 2 so you need to climb up the stairs to reach the cafe. Nice coffee and friendly owner. Price is reasonable too!

Minimalist cafe style, came right after lunch when it was empty and soon different groups of ppl came and the tables were all snagged up. The staffs were friendly and also offered to set up more seats outdoor but customers that came earlier were quite understanding and voluntarily finish up to let others have the tables. The coffee is strong and good! A hidden gem in the area! =)

The beans are rotated so you'll always have a surprise each visit. Nice space to chill but mainly just coffee, would be good if they have more bakes too!! Coffee is strong and smooth. The space is minimalist and spacious, just note that there is no toilet in the shop.

Super well made espresso. Shop owner is a nice guy who roasts and brews it all himself. Definitely worth a visit if you’re around the area. The shop itself is on the second floor which is not immediately obvious from the Google maps info.

Nice place in an interesting neighborhood. Do note that it's on the second level Coffee was alright - flavour was not as strong as I would expect from a piccolo. Decor was pretty standard stuff.

Zerah Coffee Roasters has some amazing single origin coffee roasted in-house by the lovely folks who are also brewing you espresso-based beverages and pour overs at this charming stop. This is a recluse on the second floor of one of the oldest estates in Singapore. On the grinder - A Rwandan single origin with a juicy and tart nuance from a bourbon varietal. They offer other options for espresso and hand brews too.

A “hidden” but great find and respite from the business of this area. Been here a couple of times and tried their espresso based beverages (black & white) and filter coffee - always a delightful cup of flavours, a testament to the hard work the team here put in to roast, brew & extract the flavours. They offer alternative milk too! If it’s “out of the way”, do make a pit stop here if you are nearby for Michelin starred tai hwa pork noodle (2 mins walk) or Golden Mile food centre (6 mins walk). Thanks for good coffee!

Best third wave coffee I’ve tried in Singapore. Barista was amazing and managed to bring out fruity and floral flavours from hand pour and latte. Banana cake was super yum too. Just minus one star cos latte cup was too large and milk to espresso ratio too much for me (7+oz milk). Also cups were not warm. If they warm their cups and provide more milk volume ratios up front it’d be perfect.

a nice little cafe in a hdb estate serving great cups of coffee. the seating area is small, but the cafe doesnt get too crowded on weekdays. the espresso based drinks were well made and their own roasted beans are also available for sale. worth a visit if youre in the area!

Finally found a place with light roasted coffee beans. This place serves speciality coffee and tastes amazing.

Quaint cafe serving artisan coffee. Coffee beans were roasted in house. The owner took pride in roasting their beans which can taste the profile of the coffee beans. I m glad that my frens brought me to this little gem coffee place 💕

Not sure if this place is well-known but definitely deserves a visit! Zerah is a small, chill cafe tucked away in a residential area in Lavender. They have some of the best and most interesting beans I’ve seen in Singapore despite the seemingly small range offered. You will also find that they brew each cup with a clear understanding of the beans used! Filter Coffee - Wilton Benitez Java ($12) The Java beans are processed as a Washed Thermo Shock, and definitely caught my eye as it is something you don’t see everyday. It has very mild acidicity but does not taste flat. Due to the process, it has a very complex and strong flavour profile, making it easy to taste the orange and sweet vanilla notes. On top of that, expect a full body and lots of natural sweetness (almost like a syrup). Give this a try as it is both a good and unique cup! Also, they seem to have public cuppings ($7) every so often on Saturdays so you might wanna try booking it on their website. Do it early though, it gets sold out quick!

Located in a quiet corner. Comfortable and chill environment, good place to visit if you are near the area. Tasty and well balance coffee. Recommend coffee lovers to go and try.

Went for a quick coffee run this morning. Cozy and clean cafe with good coffee. It’s at level 2, staircase is easily accessible. 5 mins walk from ICA building.

Average coffee, slightly on the acidic and medium bodied side. Cups were small. We ordered a flat white and it was kinda weak - suspicious that it could be single espresso shot but it was ok. Iced latte was similar. Ice could have been larger than the small baby ice they use, so as to prevent it from diluting an already quite weak cup. They use CDC for payment!

Love the chill atmosphere here. Been here 3x and the coffee is consistent. Iced version doesn’t have too much milk nor too much ice which makes for a great, balanced cup.

The relaxing ambience and friendly service made this a delightful coffee joint in this old HDB estate. Ordered their iced white with Rio Verde beans and oat milk as it was a particularly warm day and quite enjoyed it. Pleasant well-balanced nutty and fruity notes with a clean aftertaste. Friend got the single origin chocolate and enjoyed it too. Will be back!

Good filter coffee. Cozy place with relaxing music and nice staffs. The pour over is quite tasty, good balance. The small cup tastes like green tea, make me refreshing too.

Nice chill cafe on the second floor of an hdb estate area. Small space but with sufficient seating. $5.70 for flat white and you have 2 option to select your coffee beans from.

I had to look at the address again when I couldn't find it on the ground floor. The place was more spacious than I expected. Quiet when everyone is doing their own thing, but echo-y when people are talking. Staff is friendly, greets you when at the counter, and goes through the menu with you if it happens to be your first time there. Noticed a couple of people who seemed to be familiar with the place and would come in for to-go orders. The aroma of the coffee was enticing when entering the cafe. However, I chose to have the hot chocolate as I already had enough caffeine for the day. The hot chocolate was delicious, and I would love to return to try their coffees.

A hidden gem for coffee, nestled within a quaint HDB neighbourhood. The shop is situated on the second floor (despite the shopfront photos giving the appearance of being on ground level). The interior is clean and minimalist. Unlike other reviewers, I rather like that they focus on coffee, than having a ton of food options. Ordered a latte, which came with a bit more foam than expected – it was very drinkable, and quite balanced but the Indonesian beans gave off a citrusy smell which kept tricking me into tasting sour notes (even though the coffee wasn’t actually sour at all). The star beverage was the aerocano. If you like black coffee, don’t give this a miss. It takes a bit more time & effort to prepare, but the coffee was refreshing, in more ways than one. Definitively worth returning just for this!

The default for the white was a double shot. There was a choice of two single origins roasted by themselves for the espresso-drinks. This white (Ethiopia Shoondhisa) had lemon milk notes. It was quite a big cup but the flavour could have been more rounded and robust. The cup was also too cold.

This little coffee shop serves excellent coffee. We got the Brazilian and Ethiopian coffee beans. Both are aromatic. Highly recommended!
