I really don't understand why they killed the space. It was perfect in its way, but no, they completely destroyed it and opened another mediocre fast food chain branch. Service looks so lost and random. It took literally 7 minutes for them to understand that they "don't do batch brew yet".

Probably one of the worst specialty coffee spots in Brussels - the coffee is fine but the service is terrible. Waiters never seem to make an effort to be kind, regularly seem upset by clients and service is generally not at the right level (not necessarily paying attention to the occupancy of the place and to the size of the queue and not adjusting to match or regulate the client flow, not necessarily happy to see the client, not necessarily proposing the various coffee options, shouting the order number across the room like they’d do in a fast food, nonchalantly kicking customers out the closing time, etc.). I come regularly at various times of the day and the week and it seems to be a pattern (or I am just unlucky). It can also be that the team is doing its best but is overworked, in this case management should do something.

Very good coffee. The vendors tend to use the place as their own private disco, and they make no effort to be kind. Sometimes the music is too loud. They dance and they give you the impression you disturb them in their spare time, as if they were making a special effort to let you pay for the rather expensive coffee they sell. I usually buy coffee in grains, more packages of 250g each, and I pay around 100 euro. They couldn't care less.

Lately I’m quite disappointed in this place. The last weeks I did the special effort to come from the other side of the city (no prob with that) to find out that they are ‘exceptionally closed’ or closed already at 3pm or 3:30 pm. Sometimes there is a not on the door just saying that they’re exceptionally closed, sometimes there is nothing. Webpages on IG or Facebook are not updated, they do not communicate well. I really regret this but don’t know if I can stay a loyal happy client if they do not stick well with the regular opening hours. How loyal clients feel about this, should matter. For years, this was a very amazing coffee place with kind and hospitable employees. I regret how things changed.

Cute coffee shop with patio on the sidewalk and few tables outside. Coffee is good and definitely their specialty. Their viennoiseries and other baked goods are subpar to other local coffee shops and bakeries. Service was in English, very little French spoken. But coffee beans, pods, and other coffee related products on site.

Visited it on a Sunday noon, when the Jourdan market was on. It had the right amount of vibe, music, good coffee and smiley service. Would return.

I really enjoyed this coffee place! I was looking for a good place to study and this is it! The big shared tables are great if you want to socialise a little bit but there are a lot of smaller tables as well. The coffee and other drinks are delicious and they offer different cow milk alternatives! I'm definitely coming back!

OR used to be one of my favourite cafés - friendly staff, nice vibe, good coffee. They completely killed the vibe with the renovations. And prices shot up by at least one Euro. Super sad, definitely won't come back anymore.

Third wave coffee shop. Decent expresso and very good Kalita slow coffee. Decent selection of pastries and sandwiches as well. Edit November 22nd 2022 I have been a client of this coffee shop for more than 10 years. I always enjoy coming back as the coffee shop still uses the OR coffee and the service is pretty reliable. However at my last visit I received a paper cup for a coffee I was having on location 😐 For me, good quality coffee, reliable brewing process and a ceramic cup is part of the must-haves of a coffee shop that values its customers.

It used to be my favorite coffee place, but no more: If you order a café here, you will also get Hamas propaganda. Hamas abducts over 200 hostages, massacres 1400 people in two kibbutzes and at a music festival, but the operators of Café Or talk about the "genocide of the Palestinian people". Hello Café Or operators, genocide is the deliberate extermination of a people and not a military operation against terrorists who use their fellow citizens as human shields. By the way, not a word from you about the fate of the victims of October 7 and Israel's dilemma of being surrounded by neighbors who for 80 years have invested their energy mainly in suicide bombers, tunnels and rockets. They are not investing in the welfare of the Palestinians, but in destroying Israel and driving all Jews into the sea. Yes, these are the real plans for genocide that one could be outraged about.

Nice place with several vegan options. A bit disappointing that they don't have decaf when they brand themselves as someone who specializes in coffee. The oat cinnamon roll is amazing, and the chai latte is great as well. However, I think it's a bit pricey to pay almost 10 euros for those two, especially the chai latte which was tiny, particularly for the price of 5,30. They have several vegan options, but the cinnamon roll was the only option for pastries/sweets.

Great place to chill and have a coffee in peace ✌🏽 No one is rushing you out and the seatings are of many kind so if you need the place to freelance in Brussels this spot is definitely recommend 🥰 on sundays it was quite busy in case you like some crowd 🥳

One of the best coffees in Brussels. Not to mention its carrot cake. Simply delicious. However queue during the weekend can be endless

We tried this place after all the good reviews but we were disappointed.. mocha latte was a 3 star flavor but the americano (pour over) was not good, the 2 spoons we got were too dirty to be used (?!).. the only nice thing was that tiny piece of chocolate we got with our hot drinks and that dogs are allowed. I wouldn't come again unfortunately

Food and coffee are amazing, the atmosphere is greatly comfortable and friendly. The only minus is that you dont really know what to do when you come in. There's no sign that they don't serve you and you have to order by yourself at the bar... however its really cosy and the prices are affordable judging by the other cafe we've been to.

  • 3/5 Jenn S. 1 year ago on Google
Not the warmest welcome. Arrived running at 17h03 for a quick take away coffee and the place was full of people and drinks were still being made. However the barista promptly said they are closed.... Even for a takeaway that would take 30 seconds to make. Disappointed...Especially for a mom with a baby who arrives 3 minutes after the closing time when all the machines are still running and the cash register hasn't been closed.

Cool cafe in a nice area of the city. One of the best coffees I've tried in Brussels. Nice waiters, cool atmosphere, I recommend this place. :)

Great quality food & drink at reasonable prices. I don't think there's any savoury food available. Free refill on some drinks, which I love. Staff helpful and upbeat, friendly. A popular place for people of all ages, with or without laptops. In a very handy location - just off Place Jourdan. Only downsides is that queue to order/pay is usually on the slow side, and no comfy/soft seating.

  • 4/5 Mário 9 months ago on Google
I quite liked it! Quick service, nice pastries at reasonable price, and good quality coffee. Seems like a nice place to stop for a bit. And it's really well-located. I prefer it to the Ana Attento in the center as the service here is way nicer.

OMG! I have never in my life met such a horrible rude service. I went inside and asked if I can pay with card the service said yes so I went and sat to my table and I was waiting for someone to take my order as it happens in most parts of the world. BUT I was wrong, the girl brought some coffees to a couple next to me and I told her "excuse me can I order?" and she just looked at me and went away! Whaaat? I sat there at my table for 30 minutes and nobody spoke to me when I asked how can I order!

Amazing coffee! And really nice staff. The only downside is the waiting time (you’ll wait for 20 mins just to get your coffee to go 🥲)

Really good coffee and treats. They’ve a delicious batch brew every day. Very consistent standard. Great for solo travellers. Everyone speaks fluent English.

Well balanced flat whites & long blacks. The flat whites are made from a 3 bean mix, and are reasonably smooth (3€80 / AUD $6.20) They sell unburnt coffee - No Italian burnt coffee thank-you! Descent coffee in Brussels : A rare find.

High quality coffee and sweets. Very nice atmosphere. Wifi works well. Pretty expensive (even for that quality), and extremely slow service.

Strong coffee. Service is ok depends on what you order. Food might not be a good idea. The whole cafe tries to give you a busy city vibe 🙂 but Brussels is not in a rush.

  • 5/5 Rébecca G. 3 years ago on Google
Absolutely love this place, the coffee is always at the perfect temperature and there is nothing more satisfying. And their carrot cake is to die for 🤤

Good strong coffee.. nice place to hang out with friends.. Not too much to eat though, but really good coffee.. we spent about three hours having coffee and chilling with friends.. The counter person was friendly and also spoke english 🙂

Not exactly a specialty coffee shop. Used to be good. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for two espresso drinks. If you’re from Australia, US, or London or work in specialty coffee you will get disappointed. Milk steaming could better. They steam milk for all drinks in the same large pitcher.

  • 5/5 Francisco V. 2 years ago on Google
Potentially one of the best coffee shops in all of Brussels. The baristas have good knowledge on how to make coffee, their coffee selection is quite remarkable and with plenty of variety. The staff is always welcoming and it is also pet friendly, which is always a plus

  • 2/5 Luk M. 2 years ago on Google
Two stars not for the coffee, but for the service moving at a snails pace. Even when you decide to sit down, you still have to go outside and join the queue which can be anywhere between 20-25min wait because they only service you at the register and not at the table. This is only possible in Belgium where they DGF about customers.

  • 1/5 Kata G. 2 years ago on Google
One of the worst oat latte that I had in my life. I was unable to take more then 2 sips. Wouldn’t recommend. For working is ok, but loud music and a lot of people (noise) so not good for meetings.

  • 2/5 It's M. 2 years ago on Google
The coffee is really good, unfortunately some of the people working there keep taking up and down their mask with their hands, scratching their nose, touching their mouth, putting lot of germs on their fingers... and then... giving pastry, cup plates, spoons... That we put in our mouth after that... Some don't understand yet that if we keep the mask, it's also to avoid contamination from touching our mouth or nose and then after touching food for the clients...

great coffee, nice place, food atmosphere, just the queues can get very long, resulting in long waiting time for a take away

  • 5/5 Kai O. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely speciality coffee shop, decent range of desserts and has a really cozy atmosphere. We got the lavender iced tea and iced coffee, which were both good. They also do dairy-alternative milks and the cashier's are really friendly. Overall very good vibes.

I easily became an habitué of this lovely coffee place just in front of Place Jourdan. Coffees are delicious and of great quality, delivered quickly from the kind staff. Do not let the long queue discourage you. Probably the best coffee shop you can find around the European quarter.

Very nice coffee to work or meet friends. The atmosphere is very calm except during the midday break when it gets a bit busy. The staff is friendly and the coffees are 🥰! They do not serve lunch but they do have pastries.

Really pleasant coffee shop with a great range of hot and cold drinks including specialty blends and cakes. Friendly and helpful staff. Venue offers indoor and outside seating and takeaway

  • 4/5 José Carpintero M. 1 year ago on Google
I ordered coffee to take away here and it was very good! I just missed a bit more of variety of coffees, but still the latte I tried was awesome! If you are looking for speciality coffee or just a good coffee, this is a very good option!

  • 5/5 Jack J. 1 year ago on Google
A well known chain in Belgium but the coffee is sensational none-the-less. There are often queues at busy times, but if you aren’t running late it’s worth the wait. Over time you can explore the more adventurous offerings on their coffee menu and have a great time watching people make coffee with precision.
