terrible service, ignorance, good food, great location The place looked very nice from outside, so i wanted to drink a coffee with a croissant for breakfast. i sat down and was waiting more than 10 minutes to order. There were 2 waiters passing ignoring that i was looking at them to pass.my order. Finally the older guy happend to be close enough to me while openning the door for some customer. So i tried to catch his attention. - Can i order? - yes - and pay with the creditcard? - For a coffee??!! - and a croissant...? - there is a minimum, but we will round this up. And so he went without even asking what coffee i wanted and went... The other waiter came( Actually fast) bringing my the coffee and the croissant. I asked what coffee i am getting? Grande. Ok. Than i decided to pay cash because i was sure there was gonna be something. So the Bill was 5,90€ gave him 6€ and expected the change. I will never forget the look on his face. Too bad, can't recomend this place...

Café hat uns dort sehr gut geschmeckt. Sehr klassische aber nette Atmophäre. Top Lage, dafür Preise, die in Ordnung sind.

Considering the location, at one end of The Grande Place, this is really good value. In other European cities, say Rome or Paris, you’d pay more for a coffee than we paid for breakfast. The breakfast we had was pretty good, service was excellent and our waiter was very entertaining!

Conveniently located at the Grand Square! Went here on a Sunday morning before noon and it was perfectly nice and quiet. A very homey ambiance as I sat next to the fireplace. Ordered a Grand Palaca breakfast and had some decent bread, waffles, and hot chocolate. The price was a bit high (17eur) BUT better prices than our hotel breakfast...

Food was lovely and the place (decor)has a nice feel to it . But I have to agree with a review below we was given a table nd was waiting to order for ages whilst waitresses just passed us and never made eye contact I’d said excuse me to one but was ignored . Maybe there to busy nd require more staff . But wasn’t exactly made to feel welcome . But we was happy with our food.

Pleasant service, great hangout waiting for a walking tour that starts often from Grande Place. Awesome view (not included , sun was shining strong =(

Perfect location! Super fast service! Our waiter, Ruddy, was awesome!! Very friendly and happy to be there! He even gave my kid little a chocolate bunny. Perfect place for coffee and mimosas with the best view in Brussels.

We arrived in the morning, sat outside and was served by a delightful older gentleman. Croissant and coffee were very good.

Arrived at restaurant... almost stabbed, ordererd and only 50% of the cutlery arrived(not good enough I expect 100%)Knife arrived later. Food came in 40 minutes later after the waiter had given four other customers their food. The waffle was cold and the nutella in bad shape. A true letdown. I dont like having bananas around my feet. The only good thing about the place was the EU shaped sugar packages. Not recomending!

Terrible service! We took a seat and had to wait at least 20 minutes to be able to order (it was not busy but the waiter would just pass and ignore us)! After an hour we finished our drinks, but were still talking and did not intend to leave yet, when out of nowhere the same waiter arrived rudely saying “7,40 €”. We were quite shocked by the rude manners of the waiter, especially considering his (not so young) age. We won’t go back and cannot recommend this place!

Today in the new years day we arrived to the restaurant in a rainy night! Staff were so rude and they didn’t have a good behavior they just sent us out with an aggressive mood because we didn’t call to reserve
