what a charming little place, it's so well kept and the owners are very friendly and helpful. my room was spotless and the breakfast was a real winner. The owners were so helpful sharing their knowledge of the area and which bus to get (which was 2 mins away from the house), as a female solo traveller I found their support wonderful, they went out of their way to give me a lift and when I had a call from work and had to work into the evening on my laptop, they let me work from the kitchen table and shared their own evening meal with me so I didn't have to worry about going out for food. I've never had such wonderful hospitality. I recommended Happy Sintra to everyone, especially solo travellers

Great location with bus stop a few meters away. Only one night in Sintra. Unsure if the dogs (outside)here were pets from guests but they did disturb my sleep. The place is very clean.

Wonderful place to visit Sintra. One point less because the rooms have very bad acoustic isolation. We slept already when other noisy visitors arrived during the night which was horrible. But apart from that everything was perfect, especially the breakfast!

Excellent experience!!! We were running behind on time and the owner was very accommodating and waited for us. The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious with our own private bathroom. For breakfast we had a great tray waiting for us and loved the view of the yard outside witu chickens roaming around. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us!

Lovely garden & will definitely come back again

Quiet, serene site. Very welcoming staff. Nearby the Sintra historical sites by car. Surely a place to stay at when visiting this area... a plus: no TV in the rooms! But wifi available for those who need to stay connected.
