Absolutely must! I wish I was staying longer to come here again! The egg cheese and ham toast I had was absolutely phenomenal! The pastries recommended by our server were to die for! Such great service and so friendly. The server provided us recommendations on how to get to the palace. Such great people and great food. Do not miss this gem.

The traditional Portuguese Bacalhau à brás was really delicious. I would recommend it. Also, the staff is really kind and the place is not expensive. The perfect choice if you want to avoid the typical tourist trap in the historical city centre.

Stumbled in here at random after hiking to and from the castles. It was really good!! Steak and egg Portuguese style was exactly what I needed. Staff couldn't be friendlier. Highly recommended.

Amazingly nice staff. They treated us like royalty and locals. The food was great. I ordered the grilled breast chicken which my parents thought was amazing but I myself recommend the burger which my mom got but we ended up switching plates 😂😂 they also waited for us to close after hours which we didn’t know. 10/10 service

Excellent service, the food was brilliant. My husband requested more chicken and they made the chicken quickly, it was hot, tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly and accommodating with our son, they had a changing table available. Highly recommend, reasonably priced.

Family friendly, relaxed dining, with good food at reasonable prices in central Sintra. We are so glad we chose to dine here, just around the corner from the main square. Our waitress was incredible with us and our son, ensuring he was comfortable and happy, even giving him a little toy chicken to take home, and rescuing it from under our Uber when he dropped it, getting in. The 2 team members we met were both able to serve us in English and/or Spanish, and the menu was available in multiple languages as well.

Me and my mum first had a cup of coffee in the morning here and then lunch in the evening. Both times everything was perfect. Food was delicious and the price of it was not so high as well. If you are in Sintra, I can truly recommend this place.

I really love the owner of this restaurant She is very Kind .. I met her when we had a tour in Portugal last August .. she entertained us very well She is very intelligent woman very hard working .. Some of my friends who dine in there said that the Foods are very presentable and delicious as well .. highly recommended .. I wish I could go back to Sintra and to meet again the very humble and nice owner of this restaurant .. I dont even know if she still remember me ..

Stopped here because it was raining and so glad we did! One of the best meals we had in Lisbon - the small chicken and the tortilla were fantastic! Also had a great selection of beers and was well priced for a restaurant in a touristy area.

Great people, great service! We chose this place for lunch. They were very nice. One of us was vegetarian and they created options for her. The food was very good. We had soup of the day, lasagna and its portion was very full filling.

Great food and great staff! The food is high quality and very tasty, and you can get a variety of different dishes. Our waiter was a chatty and honest guy who had stories to tell about food, traditions and history. In a place like Sintra, where life is slow and good, this is an added bonus to a great meal. If I ever come back to Sintra this is where I'll dine!

Great food, and friendly staff. Home style cooking. I had the steak and eggs - really good. Right in the center of the historic district. It was recommended by a local shop owner.

We had a cheese and meat plate and split the Portuguese style cod. Wow! Absolutely spectacular!!!!!

We loved this stop for snack in the historic part of Sintra. Ana and her family have a wonderful spot. They were friendly and welcoming with BEST pastries!

Simple and tasty food with reasonable prices. Staff extremely friendly and funny, hence one feel comfortable there. Good location.

We tried the chicken and pork on the grill here and loved both dishes. The chicken especially was so flavorful and crispy in some parts with the nicely grilled skin. Service was friendly and quick too and the whole place looked clean. Nice meal overall after the very very long walks at the pena palace.

The service was absolutely fantastic. Of our four meals, one was quite good, the others were not great. The Spanish and garlic mussels were edible but not at all enjoyable which was a real shame. When telling the waitress, her comment was, not everyone likes mussels.

Very kind and helpful people (for more than just the food)! Recommended since really lovely local dishes and bites. Not the cheapest, but great quality and very tasty meals!

All of the food here is amazing!! Definitely try the mussels!! They are super fresh! The staff was amazing. We came here twice and the server remembered us and made us feel welcome. Lovely spot for lunch when out touring. Highly recommend!!
