The Buck Island Snorkeling trip with Caribbean Sea Adventures was BY FAR the best thing we did the whole time we were on the island. My husband and I had this trip booked for our honeymoon, and it was a great, rather secluded escape from the island. There were maybe 10 people on the boat with us, and by the end of the day, we were all talking, laughing, and having the best time together. My biggest fear is the ocean, and I got in, swam around the reef, and never once thought about being scared! The water is so clear and the guide takes you through the reef on your first go-around. Even on a very windy day, it was easy to get through the water and their snorkeling gear worked great. Would 10/10 recommend putting this at the TOP of your list of things to do in St. Croix!

Best public snorkel excursion - ever. The crew was fantastic. Daniel, Trevor, and Capt Randy made this trip incredible. They were very professional, knowledgeable of safety and island, but also SO FUN. We did the epic full day tour on Celebration. I recommend this - and opt to add the pizza. They had multiple options including GF and vegan. As someone who cannot have gluten - that was huge! Also eating on a sandbar is quite the experience. The equipment was clean and of good quality - crew helped size and make sure everything was comfortable. The reef park was beautiful - I wish I saw it prior when it was super colorful - but the fish were beautiful, and spurts of bright coral helped. The water was a little rough, but you have guides with you with floatation rings to help ease not so strong snorkelers. We felt very safe the entire time. If you have not snorkeled a lot they offer help/lessons at the first beach which is shallow and calm. If you are an experienced snorkeler - I felt this was still worth going for a fun boating day, and seeing the reef park. Disclaimer: any of the public tours you book (that I read), you are not snorkeling all day in the reef. Daniel, Trevor and Capt Randy - thank you for being incredible. You really made everyone’s experience so fun and memorable. Cheers Danielson - so happy we met you!

Daniel and his crew were super nice. The snorkeling is amazing - bring underwater cameras. We saw hundreds of fish, some very exotic, and beautiful corals. It's pretty cool diving in a group. There's drinking water on the boat and on the way back you'll get rum punch. Bring lots of sunscreen; while the boat has a roof, you'll catch lots of sun during the dive and on Buck Island.

John and Hunter were great Ship Captains and Tour Guides on the Wind Dancer Sailboat tour to Buck Island. We loved the tour. This was our first experience on a sail boat. The snorkeling was awesome and the full day tour included free time for snorkeling on your own as well. I highly recommend taking sunscreen and even an umbrella if you like shade.

We took two charter in two days with these folks and they were both awesome. We did the Sunset Cruise yesterday, and liked it so much that while we were on the boat, we booked a half-day snorkeling cruise for the next day. The crew was great! I didn’t get everyone’s name, but we remember Morgan and Jackie was in the shop. Both are really nice. If you ever call and there’s no answer, leave a message, they will call back. We left one and she called back in a few minutes. For each cruise, they serve island lunch which is a vodka concoction that’s pretty good. You can also bring your own drink if you like. They had a little shop with sun screen, sun glasses, non-alcoholic drinks, shirts, etc. there’s also a bathroom in the shop and one on the boat. I’d recommend them to my family, and I get along well with my family.

We booked a private tour on Smooth Recovery on 2/16. Michelle and Key were our tour guides and were fantastic. They were very conscious of the comfort of everyone on the boat, including those who had the potential to get seasick. We appreciated their extra concern! We toured along st. Croix coast and they stopped to point out a few areas of interest. Then they took us to the snorkeling area at Buck Island. Only a few from our group went snorkeling, which included two children. Key was a fantastic snorkeling guide. He had our kids hold onto an orange ring and kept them close by his side the whole time. After the snorkeling, we went to the beach on Buck Island and spent some time in the water and on the beach before returning to St. Croix. We has a fantastic time and would do it again!

We did a half-day snorkel trip today and it was so fantastic. Allie and Hailey were so wonderful, you can truly tell they love what they do. Allie, the captain smiled the whole trip, genuinely happy to be out there with us. Hailey, the First Mate was kind and very attentive to her guests. I felt 100% safe with my 11 year old along. Thank you SO MuCH.

Captain Ali and her crew Leigha and Teah were amazing. They were personable and made sure everyone had an amazing trip. If it’s your first time snorkeling don’t worry they give a how-to and practice time to ensure you’re comfortable. If you’re thinking about booking a trip you absolutely should!!!

Great crew! Very fun experience. Crew was knowledgeable about the history of the island and friendly with the customers. Captain did a great job getting to and from the dive site. They provided ice water and a rum punch on the way back. Give these folks a chance for a great snorkeling trip!

Wow. Such an incredible experience! My hubby & I did a full day charter aboard the Smooth Recovery. Snorkeling Buck Island was magical. Michelle & Leah were amazing & we appreciate their knowledge, professionalism, & hospitality. Thank you Caribbean Sea Adventures!

A great day taking the full day excursion to Buck island. What I loved about it, there wasn't a ton of people. This was a smaller catamaran even with a fully booked excursion there was I think 12 people. The captains were friendly, knowledgeable and it was nice they got to interact with everyone. We will definitely use their services again.

We took the morning half day tour of Buck Island. We were with Captain Mark and two other boat hands. The experience was excellent. The tour of the national monument was amazing! This company has a wonderful balance of guest safety and reef protection. I look forward to coming back!

Thank you so much to the front desk woman for squeezing us in at the last minute, and to Captain Ally, Hailey, and Guillermo for a fantastic trip to Buck Island. I highly recommend their service, we had a great time and appreciate that the entire crew went out if their way to make sure everyone had a great time. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and had a variety of options to match any group's idea of fun at a great price. Can't wait to return.

Me and my friends had a great experience. It was our first time snorkeling and we felt safe as well as had a great experience. The crew were patience and taught us everything we needed to know as well as cater to those who aren’t the best swimmers. For that I am very thankful.

We used this group for both a parasailing and a full day sail excursion. Views of the island and water from 400 ft. up are incredible and we were lucky enough to see a few massive sea turtles swimming at the surface below. The crew had unforeseen engine trouble with the sail boat for our full day sail but were able to upgrade us to Celebration (real nice twin engine catamaran) which meant a lil more time for fun at Buck Island! The underwater monument trail is super cool with the variations of coral and fish, even saw a couple barracuda! Turtle Beach is just gorgeousssss. Crews were chill and informative. Thanks to John, Hunter, Jack, and to Key for your insight and local recommendations!

We took the all day tour on the Celebration. Peter and Trevor were great. Very helpful and knowledge. Turtle Beach was gorgeous and the reef snorkeling was fantastic. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. And get the pizza. It was excellent.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our half day catamaran cruise to Buck Island and snorkel experience through this beautiful national monument! From start to finish, the Celebration crew was welcoming, informative, organized, and capable. We highly recommend Caribbean Sea Adventures for sailing adventures in Christiansted, St. Croix! A few notes on our experience: 1. We reserved this shore excursion through Royal Caribbean. Once disembarking and walking from the pier, guides with signs direct you to air conditioned vans for the 25 minute drive from Fredericksted in the southwest corner of the island to Christiansted in the north central part of the island. 2. The currents at Buck Island are strong, so we would only recommend this excursion to folks comfortable in the water with at least moderate swimming skills. 3. Take your GoPro or other underwater video equipment with you! The coral formations and diversity of sea life at the Buck Island monument are not to be missed!

👍 The staff were friendly and all very hands on and welcoming when I came with two puppies, now named Duncan and Astro.
