What
a
bizarre
dining
experience!
Eating
with
the
deafening
droning
of
club
music
wasn't
what
our
party
of
5
was
expecting
from
a
classic
Italian
restaurant.
We
were
hoping
to
catch
up
and
have
a
discussion,
but
that
was
unrealistic
given
the
sound
level.
We
had
one-on-one
conversations
over
the
table,
but
talking
to
a
person
a
seat
away
would
have
required
us
to
shout.
Some
tables
seemed
to
be
as
bewildered
as
we
were,
but
others
appeared
comfortable
with
the
situation,
so
perhaps
this
is
intended
as
a
crossover
between
a
club
and
a
restaurant.
This
may
be
right
for
you
(hence
the
two
stars),
it
just
wasn't
for
us.
To
be
fair,
the
food
was
good
--
well
made
and
good
quality,
if
unimaginative
in
general.
At
this
price
point,
though,
there
are
a
lot
of
better
alternatives
in
the
area:
I
expect
the
appeal
of
the
place
is
the
'clubby'
atmosphere.
Service
was
very
friendly,
but
slow.
Ordering
more
water
took
a
solid
ten
minutes
of
staring
and
gesticulating
at
the
waiters
walking
right
past
our
table
(calling
was,
again,
impossible
given
the
background
noise),
and
waiting
for
the
bill
seemed
excruciating
long.
I
do
hope
this
isn't
the
norm
at
this
place,
but
I'm
not
going
to
find
out.
