My husband and I had an excellent time dining at Minerva's. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was something you don't often find in Sioux City. It was a high class experience but not at a high class price. We can't wait to come back here again to try something different next time.

The food was simply amazing! Huge portions and excellent presentation. I'd give this place six stars if I could.

Very nice restaurant. Clean, fast, friendly and delicious. The Mardi Gras menu is a nice addition to the menu. The Pork Filet Mignon was amazing.

Love the food and atmosphere. Service is good. I love the cocktails and wine they offer. Pricing on their lunch menu is very reasonable.

Restaurant was very nice, clean and spacious. We went on Christmas Eve and the staff were festive and still in good spirits. The food was fantastic. No complaints.

I always have an amazing time at Minervas. Good food and amazing staff. I really enjoyed the whiskey and dinner event. I will definitely do this again. The food was absolutely amazing. Salad was my favorite, but I love a good salad. I had to get a to go box for my chicken and mashed potatoes so I could have room for dessert.

We have been frequenting Minervas for probably better than 20 years. Tonight on a Tuesday at 1730 We stopped in for dinner We have always been seated in the bar know the bar staff but the young man at the front desk wouldn't allow us to sit in the bar even after we asked if we could sit at the bar, took us to an icky booth on the south side of the restaurant great parking lot view. Only 5 tables seated in the bar when we arrived and seated the party of 2 behind us in the bar. Long story, short, couldn't sit in the bar because that staff was too busy, took 15 minutes by the clock to get the 1st glass of wine in the dining area. Subsequently, set the empty wineglass at the edge of the table and waited another 20 minutes for a refill. Just so disappointed, have always loved Minervas but so sad that an inadequate front desk can ruin the dining experience.

We went for supper. My husband is gluten free and was kindly given a gluten free menu. As a group we ordered the steak stir fry (photo below), a burger with cheese, and chicken risotto. When our food came out, the chicken risotto did not come with the rest of the meal and it took a few minutes to track our server down who then said they had made the dish not gluten free. By this time the rest of us were done with our meals so we had them box up the meal. The steak stir fry always has good flavor but tonight was overdone. I would like to say that the other week it was out of this world at lunch. We do love the environment of the restaurant and the fact you can hold great conversation. Tonight's experience was just below par for this establishment.

A really nice dining location. Good selection of Drinks and Food. When I went they were doing a "Taste of New Orleans" with Cajun delicacies as Specials. Regular Menu is diverse and tasty. I had their "Ranch Burger" which was very tasty and filling.

Hope you're not hungry. Very few items on the menu. Food is just okay but prices really high. They are "out" of many items and leave you with only a few options.

Really enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip and apple walnut salad! Had a bit of issue with my entree, but Brandon, the manager, immediately made it right. Great customer service and atmosphere! We will be back!

I had a phenomenal dinner, Chicken Rissotto w/the Roasted Apple Salad. However, the water tasted like bleach. The waitress was unfriendly and not very attentive to us. When I informed her of the issue w/the water, she turned from me and walked away. Needless to say, we never did get new water.

I went during their breakfast time so all they had was their buffet. It was honestly the same quality a 2 star hotel would have except for the cereal. I tried two plates but couldn’t finish half of either so maybe a 1 star hotel. I ended up paying over $100 and left hungry and frustrated.

We have been coming to the restaurant off and on for many years. We’d like to eat here on a special event, birthday or just a treat ourselves. We were sited right away and it has a very nice patio. The waitress was ok .. seemed like we imposing or she was busy doing something. We did not come at a busy time so we did not know what was up not saying that she did not do her job but she was just curt….did not make the food taste better. The appetizers were good, except the spinach dip with half the amount that it used to be which in fine but if you like it order 2 because there is not enough to share. Now, a few people in our party ordered burgers which they said they were good but the buns were old and dry. We ordered the salmon and walleye. The walleye was full of bones and kind of like shoe leather.. really everything on the plates was overcook or super microwaved and not fresh ingredients at all like there should be fresh vegetables this time of year. I was really disappointment and it was just gross!! Especially at 28 dollars a plate… it was like something I would expect at a one star restaurant. Everything on my plate tasted like it was microwaved or dried out with no favor. We did not to make a fuss at the time because we were trying to have a pleasant experience with our family. I do not know what is going on to have this place go downhill.They need to really look at their ingredients, and how they are cooking them. On a positive note, the patio was really nice to sit at!

Atmosphere is very nice. Service was quick and pleasant. Unfortunately food was only mediocre. I had steak stroganoff. No flavor at all. I had to add salt and pepper to give it some flavor. My sister ordered salmon. She said it was just ok. I'd love to go more often because I love the atmosphere but the food could use some improvements.

Excellent food and service. My husband and I both had the rib eye steak. Absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and our waiter were great. Could not ask for anything more. Highly recommend.

Overall good experience but it was just lacking something extra in each area that prevented an excellent experience. The bananas foster was excellent but unfortunately it was a limited time dessert.

Overall a great place. Love the look and feel but they cannot cook a ribeye. I ordered rare got well done. Sent it back. 2nd was medium. Come on guys. My companion ordered a sirloin med rare and it was perfect!

The server was friendly but oblivious to what we were asking for. Food was fridgerator temp cold, and two of us found hair in our food. The manager was nice and made up for it but that place needs some of its staff re-trained in customer service.

I had a Caesar salad with burnt shoe leather chicken. I couldn't eat the burt chicken. Burnt meat is a carcinogen and one of the leading causes of colon cancer.

There was no staff to seat us, the menu was all different, my spinach apple Chicken salad was all wet and wilty with a burnt piece of dried out chicken! Wasn't offered a second glass of wine or dessert! We left hungry and disappointed

Really disappointed. Stopped in while traveling through town. Place was not busy, bartender and wait staff standing around. Host person told us it would be an hour before getting seated since there was a rain storm that passed through and they only had 2 cooks. Not encouraged to sit at the bar and have drinks or nothing. Refused to seat us.
