Went to Applebee's in Sioux City, IA for my wife's birthday the waitress brought my two kids their food. 10 min later they brought me my food and it was the wrong order. After they got the order right and brought my food back to me my kid spilled her drink. We could not get the waitress to bring a towel to clean it up. It took another 15min before they brought my wife's food. The waitress said the cooks don't listen to them and the waitresses are not allowed in the kitchen. The manager came out and took my wife's food off the ticket. I was really disappointed.

The food was good. I ordered the never ending ribs and the oriental chicken salad The ribs were amazing. Regret ordering the salad. It wasn't awful, but you could make it at home. The service was good. The waitress was courteous.

Traveling. We are from WA state. Finally found the perfect spot to use our gift card. It was yum!

The burgers that we got were really good , add on boneless wings for$1 more were OK. Server that we had did an excellent job, very attentive to our needs.

Food was OK. Not really hot, but it was warm. They were super busy, so I didn't ask for anything different. Service was great.

Had half rack baby back ribs and fries. They were great. Wife had Salmon said it was delicious. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. Very hospitable.

This was hands down the best Applebees I’ve ever been to. Service was excellent, timely, and very friendly and knowledgeable of all menu items including what was on tap as I prefer Sam Adams Boston Lager which they had. The food was incredible. Hot and fresh and exactly what I was looking for. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this experience.

we eat here quite often and usually never have a problem. this last time around our waitress wasn't the greatest. she was slower, came off rude, left my drink at the bar for awhile, delivered our appetizer to a different table and when we were wanting more wings we had to ask a gentlemen who was standing around (must have been a manager) to which he replied 'let me get your server over here' food is good and usually service is good but this time around service wasn't great.

I got the bourbon chicken and shrimp with mashed potatoes and it was delicious

We were very unsatisfied with our service. We were trying to enjoy our dinner and drinks and our server came up to us and told us we needed to pay her so she could go home. We had to pay her…then she asked for her tip. So we gave that to her. And had to open up another tab and pay another server because we wanted more drinks. I found it unprofessional and rude. I won’t be returning

Awesome service from tally and Aaron. Very attentive to needs. Always refilling glass before empty, checking on you and making sure everything is to your standards. Very welcoming and I truly appreciate when I get service like this. I left and came back because it was so good.

It was my birthday and I never drink but we wanted some, Sara P. at the bar gave great service and was kind I totally recommend this place. The drinks were fire !!

I hadn't been in an applebees in over a decade still not a lot has changed. Their drinks and menu are still pretty basic. The service was decent. Mostly went for a friend's bday but she wasn't happy about any of it. For me it was about what I expected.

Nice server. Food good. 2 for $30.

Our server, Katie, was very nice and was doing a good job for how busy she got. The food was a little lackluster, however. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was pretty much well done. Pretty tough when cooked that hard. Even the desserts were just okay, my blondie was pretty dry even served with ice cream.

Had a really awesome bartender today that made sure my 5yo son was well taken care of and was happy! Honestly deserves a raise before another company finds out what a stellar employee she is and offers her a lot more! Not sure her name but was bartending right when they opened. Definitely coming back!

Awesome food and amazing service! Our waiter was quick, brought out refills before our drinks were gone, and was friendly. They were semi busy also so the fact that everything went so smoothly was refreshing.

Steak was just okay. broccoli was barely warm and our server never came back to our table to check if we needed drink refills. Not a pleasant experience.

Hostess was very nice and arranged for the bartender to serve us as not fall servers had arrived. The bartender covered the take out, served then seats at the bar as well as covered our table. She was very outgoing and personable. Food was served right away and very good. Would definitely go back.

My husband and I came into Applebees and were greeted right at the door. The hostess was friendly and let us know about the all you can eat. What a deal! Our server Clint promptly greeted us with a smile! We had a long morning at the doctors office but Clint came along and made us forget all about that. He got us our drinks and took the time to chat and made us really feel at home. He suggested the perfect margarita and boy was it perfect! The manager Brenda came by and she was also so sweet. The food was hot and the refills came so quick! You don’t see this kind of service anymore at restaurants, we will definitely be back. Thank you for all you do!

Nothing but old and cold food. Wait staff was decent, but I’d defiantly find some more bang for your buck. My 4 year old received rock hard, cold French fries and I received yesterdays 3 cheese macaroni.

Our server was very helpful. When we ordered we get a special order and she was very helpful with that. It was my daughter's birthday dinner it was very pleasant. We ordered the artichoke get appetizer which my grandson devoured. The service was fast and the food was wonderful. We will be back.

Service was good. Fiesta chicken with rice was tasty and healthy. Splitting a two entree combo made it more affordable.

Service is great! Boneless wings are probably the worst I have had in Sioux Land. I don't believe its and issue with the location but with Applebees. Boneless wings here I would avoid. Even with the all you can eat deal on boneless wings you are better off elsewhere.

I guess I dont know what to say. This restaurant certainly has staffing issues. But the attitude as if it's the patrons fault for coming in to this establishment. It isn't worth getting into..We as a group of members go out most every Sunday. But this is the finality between our group and Applebees. There is one young lady manager on duty today who was a pleasure to meet.Hal?the older manager, rude and that's an understatement. #DonewithApplebees

Arrived before 4 p.m., asked to be seated in a booth, hostess said it would be 5 minutes because no booths were available. There were several booths that were "available" and visibly clean. After 5 minutes had passed the manager informed us that she didn't have enough wait staff scheduled until after 4 p.m. The hostess and the kid that were supposed to seat people were rude and were not polite and smug.

We both had the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. Chicken was very tender and juicy. Had sautéed onions and mushrooms under. Onions could have been done a bit more, but still ok. Shrimp was grilled and seasoned. Had a bit of a tougher skin on it, but this is very normal when grilling them like this. I’m not complaining, just informing so you are aware of how the come. Potatoes were good, but didn’t scream great. Service was also good, but didn’t scream great. Few mistakes, but honest ones. For example, we ordered 2 Angry orchards and 2 waters. He tried to clarify, and I said 2 of each, 2 beers and 2 waters. Instead he brought 4 beers and 2 waters. So we didn’t say anything and instead enjoyed 2 beers each even though we didn’t intend to order more than 1 each. For desert, I had asked for the Maple Butter Blondie, something I had ordered years ago and liked. He must have been post that desert, because he brought their Caramel Apple Blondie instead, which was quite good as well. I’m guessing the one I ordered wasn’t on the menu any longer. Over all, a good experience. Mistakes happen, and he wasn’t even aware he made any, and we left it that way and just enjoyed the meal.

Dropped in on September 3, 2022 around 9 pm. Only 2 totally overworked servers. One had closed the bar since there wasn't enough help. They needed to crowd everyone into one small dining area. We didn't stay as we felt sorry for them. Please try to increase staff.
