Absolutely horrible! When we were waiting to be seating one of the customers told us good luck and warned us off about eating there. The manager seated us and wasn't friendly at all. We both ordered drinks and the appetizer sampler to start with. Then my boyfriend ordered the split decision with strawberries and bananas but they didn't even put the strawberries and bananas on the French toast and his French toast was basically raw inside. I ordered the French toast breakfast which the French toast was yet again raw all through the middle so I ended up not eating most of that just the area that looked better cooked, and my eggs I ordered were raw still had the white yolk when you Crack an egg in the middle so I didn't eat most of that either just the area that looked cooked. Also ordered a side of toast which came out rock hard! The wait staff had no idea what was going on there and had more than 1 come to our table to try to take our order. When the waitress came back 1 time to check on us I informed her about my meal and she didn't say anything but ok. They didn't do anything or inform the management about the problem. Now my boyfriend and I are both not feeling well with upset stomachs, I had pretty severe cramps throughout the night and extreme diaherra! I will definitely not be giving them my business in the future!!

Plenty of friendly and attentive staff. Food was fresh and delicious 😋

Went in for brunch and we very much enjoyed our meal. We only had to wait about 5 minutes for 11am on a weekend which wasn't bad. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. We had a great time.

Very disappointing service. I don’t leave reviews unless what I received in food or service was amazing or unusually poor. This store failed big in 3 ways. First, I ordered online from IHOP’s website for curbside pickup and was told my steak omelette and pancakes with OJ would be ready at 6:09 p.m. I clicked the button that indicated I was on my way. Once I pulled into the curbside parking spot, I received a text acknowledging I had arrived and that my order would be out soon. After waiting 20 minutes past 6:09, I went in the store only to find my order sitting on the to-go rack. An employee said that they weren’t notified and that I was supposed to call. Kinda infuriating but at least they apologized. Second, when I arrived back to my hotel, I discovered there was no syrup in the bag, rendering the pancakes practically useless. Third, I then discovered there was no plastic wear in the bag. Had to eat the omelette with my hands. Not cool. The omelette itself was good, but I was too angry to really enjoy it. Perhaps shame on me for not checking my meal before I left. I trusted what I received was correct. Lesson learned. But my experience here was unacceptable. An epic fail to an already long day…

Went in about 2 p.m. on week day- almost empty. Waitress was hesitant to answer my ? about a commercial I asked her about. She said they're not really supposed to promote it. Made us feel like didn't want to service us. Told us she'd be back to take order. Felt like we were bothering her. She left so we walked out.

It was 3 of us, as soon as we arrived they did greet us and told us to wait. After like 10 minutes they sat us down. And said someone would be right with us. 15min. Later they helped us. 15min later we got our food. And it wasn't busy at all.

I’m sorry but I don’t know how this place is still open. My wife and I went there with one her person on Saturday and the place only had a few tables and probably only two waiters and 1 cook. My wife’s food waffles with chicken where done right away but they left her food on the hot lamps for about 20 minutes then came out last. It was all cold and dry. We asked to have it made again and all they did was take it back and heat it up on a microwave I think cus it was the same food just now darker. The girl waitress was struggling to keep up while the other waiter was taking his time and wouldn’t even lend her a hand. I’m sure we won’t be going back ever and will. Used to be a good place to eat at too. Yes I still left a tip for our waitress but they need help and their management is letting them down and some extra training wouldn’t hurt.

We were traveling through at 3:30am and needed a break. What a suprise. Bobbi was our server and was amazing. I am a gm of a hotel and her customer service was superb. I have come to expect poor service late at night but this was beyond expectations. Would definitely go back if I go through this area.

Staff here are amazing!!! This facility is extremely short staffed yet they do the best they can do. It's the customers that take away from a pleasurable experience. A week ago systems were crashed and staff tried their hardest to keep down the confusion some customers were understanding others were downright rude and just looking for comp meals. The women's bathroom is disgusting with customers not flushing and leaving fecal matter in toilets. Great menu with many different items to choose from. And they still taste better and give better service than Perkins!!

They've updated their menu options from the last time I've eaten here and have to say kind of impressed. A lot more to choose from plus tons more options for gluten free, beverages, and substitutions. Staff was very helpful and friendly which makes dining here far more enjoyable

The food was good. The cinnastack pancakes are amazing every time. We went on a Sunday which isn't fun fighting the after church crowd for a table, but after about a 30 minute wait we got once. The place was so cold that I couldn't take my arms out of my shirt without getting covered in goosebumps. I didn't understand why they couldn't turn the AC down when it's raining and everyone is complaining and asking for blankets, but we lived.

This is the second time we have eaten at this IHOP location and it will be the last time. Both times eating here the food wasn't served hot, we didn't get what we ordered, service was mediocre and we had to ask for coffee refills. The entire restaurant was a complete mess, food all over the floor and under the tables with multiple tables dirty. The bathroom was filthy. Wasn't busy and only had 3 tables being used but the staff were just standing around talking with each other doing nothing and the cook doesn't speak English. A very disgusting experience. Should have gone to Perkins down the street.

I ordered a hamburger and crepes, I got 4 crepes without any filling in them and a little bit of fruit. I understand that crepes did not come with filling but there could of been more fruit on top or powdered sugar. Nothing was hot it felt like our food was sitting there for ages. I would not eat here again.

Ordered a classic burger with a fried egg and some onion rings. Food was cooked just right and served hot. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. Ordered a strawberry malt to go. Was made ready when we left. The server was polite and professional. Good place to catch a quick, hearty, affordable meal.

Customer service was extremely rude. On Saturday of June 10th. A lady threatened to spit in our food. Do to miscommunication. Your employee was too close into our personal space. Saying they could not understand what were saying. Very rude to us as we ordered our food.

Was seated with one table in between myself and the only other people on my side of the restaurant, then two more tables were seated right next to my table even though there was plenty of room to space us out. Was a little annoyed by that. The dining room did not fill up. Waitress was fairly attentive. Got all of our orders correct until it came to my brother's, and then he had to repeat his order three times and she still got it wrong. Everyone else's was perfect. Loved the cheese sauce on the savory crepe. The lemon ricotta was too sweet and it comes with a blueberry/blackberry sauce poured over it (think pie filling sauce almost). In all, we would likely return. Food came out in a timely manner and was tasty for the most part. Our coffee and creamer was refilled in a timely manner as well!

Small portions compared to other locations, service was good but slow for the amount of customers. Table had ants crawling on and around, and staff was helpful when we reported it. Overall good food for price.

Hands down, best around, overnight servers are on point. They're fire. Bobbi is the best of the best. On god... THE BEST!!!! Love it. She always has a good attitude and takes care of me... 💟💟💟

Staff looked very unhappy. The server made two errors on our order, and never once checked back with us during the meal. Another visit - server never came back to refill coffee or check on us. Staff was laughing and carrying on very loudly. Pancakes are not very good. We are sticking with Perkins.

A long-time favorite for a late night nash, I visited for breakfast for the first time in a long time recently. I was surprised the wait was not too long on a weekend morning, and even though it was busy, the service was fast and attentive. I love the build your own omelet and pancakes. It was very good alongside the bottomless coffee, which my waitress was very good about keeping refilled. Overall, the IHOP here in Sioux City is a good bet for breakfast anytime. I have not eaten off the dinner menu because I enjoy the breakfast offering so much.

Food was good. Server was excellent. Problem was the kitchen speed 30 minute wait for a table..place is popular and busy. Then the unexpected 45 minute wait for two standard menu breakfast entrees. There were parking places and its kid fruendly. But this isn't the first time my orders took forever.

Service wasn't what we are used to from IHop. The waitress could have stopped and offered refills instead of having us stop her when she would walk by. We were thankful that it wasn't super busy when we got there. We were lucky that we were able to get a table quickly with minimal waiting.

Decent visit. Host was MIA, but servicer did great handling the quick serge of guests. Services very responsive and checked in often. Really good shredded beef scramble bowl.

Came here to waste away as long as possible before we were allowed to check into a hotel, and our server (Mike, i think) was absolutely gracious. Gave us tons of time to decide what we wanted and let us keep our menus to order yet more later even when it meant remaking our ticket. Reminded us often that we could take our time with it all and stay as long as we liked. Food came quickly and tasted great. We got the breakfast sampler and appetizer sampler, along with some lemonade splashers and a chocolate shake. The drinks were good and visually gorgeous, the food was simple in the Best way, filling and comforting. Bacon a little overdone, but with everything else tasting good we barely noticed it. We were surprised how cheap things were by the end, two big sampler plates for 13 and 12 dollars apiece for decent helpings, and the splashers were only like 4 dollars, with free refills.

Service was adequate and they were obviously short-staffed. The server was friendly and prompt although stretched thin. I had stopped going to IHop bc the menu had been minimized and the quality severely diminished at the ones i was going to. This one has a full menu and good portions and quality. It has restored my faith in the chain!.

I am not one to usually complain but this place made us sick and felt people should be warned. Read on: This place my girlfriend and I thought would be great. We got inside and we're warned about the place by a diner that was leaving but we shrugged it off and stayed. The place was overwhelmed and even with at least 7 servers they were only seating half the dining room. We waiting approximately 5 minutes to be seated and we're taken to a corner booth. A server showed up shortly after that to take our drink order and we also ordered the appetizer sampler. A couple of minutes after she left another server arrived and wanted to again take our drink order. They use tablets to take the orders so he should have know our order was taken. When the appetizer arrived it was sloppily placed on the plate and and had marinara sauce smeared on the one edge of the plate. Again we just let it go because we were hungry and wanted to give this place a chance. A little while later our main courses arrived. She order the French toast platter with regular french toast and a side of white toast. I ordered the split decision platter. They arrived in adequate time but shortly after she started eating her over easy eggs she encountered a spot that when she cut into it had clear yolk still. We just assumed that it was just that little spot and she cut it out and pushed it aside but looking back we should had stopped at this point. Also once I started eating my scrambled eggs I discovered a couple pink sprinkles in it from the children's meal or whatever else they use them for. So obviously the do not keep a very clean work space in the kitchen. When I started eating my French toast it was still very soft and undercooked. I again reluctantly ate my French toast thinking it was just me but once I found out hers was like that I knew otherwise. Not to mention I ordered the strawberry banana french toast and it had neither on it i realized later. It was at this point that we mentioned something to our server. We even told her that we were not wanting new food or anything like that but our server who I believe her name was Diana this complaint seemed to go in one ear and out the other. She made no attempt on her own to remedy this or to get someone else too. After this we paid and left. But this is not where the story ends. Starting at about 5:30 in the morning we both felt sick to our stomachs and over the next couple of hours would spend multiple times in the bathroom. Hence the reason I decided to write this review. I really would have given them zero stars but it won't let you and I really wish that I would have thought to take pictures. In hindsight we should have listened to the diner that was leaving and just gone somewhere else. I would not and do not and will not ever recommend this restaurant to anyone. In fact unless something drastically changes I will actually warn anyone I know to NOT eat at this restaurant. Like I started out saying I hate to complain but I feel people should be warned and hopefully no one else gets sick from this place.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing best service I've had in a long time Food tasted great happy this place is back open prices are good as well 😀
