DANGER! If you are a woman traveling alone or single mother, DO NOT stay here! My two kids and I were traveling without my husband. We pulled in late to a dark parking lot. Three men were strategically placed in the parking lot staring at us intently. One on the bench by the door, one on a picnic table in the far corner of the lot, and one walking through the parking lot. My daughter and I went inside to check in and locked my son in the back seat to wait. While we were inside my son witnessed the man by the door approach our vehicle trying to look inside, then looking at our license plate. When my daughter and I came back out, the man by the door was gone. My son stated that he had gone around back where people unload. The man who had been walking through the parking lot was coming back through in the same direction as if he had lapped around the building. He was staring right at me so I held my ground until he was a safe distance for me to enter my vehicle. That man then approached the other man who was sitting on the picnic table in the far corner and they did a high five hand shake. Luckily my debit card had been declined for some reason so we left as quickly as possible. The fear from this experience gave me adrenaline to drive the five hrs to go straight home. When we got home, we looked at Google reviews of the Sioux City Days Inn and saw that another woman had a similar experience.

This place isn't handicap accessible, including the parking lot. Yes, they have handicapped parking spaces but not they're regular parking spots no room for a wheelchair, also no elevator. All the rooms on first floor was booked, got room on second floor. Needless to say made my disabled husband was struggling. Also, this place is dirty and I mean dirty. Thankfully we had sleeping bags and pillows in our car, we used those instead of there dirty bedding and after we left hotel went straight to laundry matt to wash our bedding. I understand a place being outdated but there is no excuse for how dirty its was. Walls, doors, bedding, pillows, shower, mirrors windows, bathroom absolutely filthy. Owners need to get off the cell phones and clean this disaster up.

Rooms weren't as bad as I was expecting after seeing reviews. Staff was less than helpful when there was anyone available. Decent breakfast selection. Best thing about the hotel was the location, right off the interstate.

My two children and I stayed here last week on our way to a family reunion. It was hands down the worst room I have ever stayed in. The room smelled awful! It did not feel clean. We went to a local Walmart and purchased febreeze and several air fresheners to try to help. At $94 a night I could not afford to go anywhere else. There was a constant slamming of doors all night long as well as the sound of glass breaking. I woke up sick and have since developed a nasty sinus infection (which I am not prone to). I cannot say for certain that this room is what caused the illness, I only say I regret not following my son's advice and just sleeping in our car!

Roaches, alive and dead. Spiders. Bad smell. Stains on bedding. No internet. Yellow stains on sheets and walls. Pulled back dirty bedspread to find bugs smashed into the underside of it and burn holes. Live roaches in the refrigerator. The outlets didn't work because they were too loose to hold the plug. Save yourself a bug infestation by sleeping in your car. Scariest 100 plus I ever spent.

Simple place but perfect to stay. Always clean room and changed towels . Service is great . The best man in the reception or desk is Victor . Always smile and compressive. This hotel is mostly occuped by Tyson food workers so they should have chances to have earlier breakfast for this workers as most of the shifts are early morning . That's the only suggestion I have . Visitor is the best guy here the others are great but Victor is the best .. Sincerly. G

Love the atmosphere. Had to find last minute accommodations. Reserved a room with two beds through Expedia. None available. Got us in a suite with king bed ad and pull out couch. Nice breakfast. Very accommodating.

We arrived today, staying a week for work. A few things you should be aware of before booking here. You are right next to a busy railroad track, the AC is very loud in the rooms. Most importantly they do not tell you when you make a reservation that they are going to charge you $15 a NIGHT for your pet, regardless of size. Outside of that the room is ok, pretty small for the $85 a night we are paying to stay here, but, bed seems comfy. There are plenty of eating places nearby, and easy access to the major thoroughfares. Wyndham needs to get it together though on some of this stuff. We stay all over the country and it is crazy how all over the place things are.

This Days Inn was extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms were nicely appointed, clean, and very comfortable. Even the hotel soap and shampoo was much better than your average offerings from similar hotels. I would, without a doubt, stay here again! 5/5

The room was clean and smelled fresh. The beds were amazingly comfortable! The air conditioner was extremely efficient for the room size and the room was not small. Roomy, clean, comfortable, pet friendly... My 1 and only complaint is the pillow was lumpy, but even given that aspect, this was the best nights sleep I've had in a while! Days inn Sioux city, you have my vote and my traveling companions vote as well!

Room was nice, quiet night up until around 2:00 a.m. when the room erupted into a noisy. Party of some type, with all the noise and vulgarity coming thru the wall my restful night was shot. I don't think I'll be back here again.

False advertising! The rooms are not even close to the listed price! They wanted literally 30% over the price they listed online. The room was terrible! All it had was a window unit for temp control, and I couldn't get it to stop blowing on my face. The pillows sucked! They only had these small square pillows on the beds. Barely a pillow at all.

It is great there's nice staff, great service you only have to pay $10 per pet which is amazing. The beds are really comfy, and air conditioning is amazing.

Room had a few holes in the wall and bathroom was dated / toilet issue. Nice large TV though. Front desk was helpful and was quick to help with washroom issue with the toilet (easy fix). Breakfast was limited, but clean and decent options. Location wasnt great, next to rail line with the last train being around 1130. For a budget hotel it was totally fine for a one night stay.

The employees there are great! George especially. I'm disabled, and am new to the area, and George overheard me talking to my home nurse about it. I never, in my wildest imagination, thought that a hotel receptionist would actually turn out to be a zealous disability advocate who wants to see me safe while my life improves and be a skilled concierge at the same time! Thank you, George, for the phone number to the mental health place and better place to rent! I'm so glad I answered honestly when you asked if we had driven a long way. If I had said something other than "No, I'm just paying to sleep here instead of staying at my apartment.", I don't think I'd be able to get as far as I have at this moment. The numbers you gave me are helping, and I'll be somewhere safe and clean soon! Thank you, man!

Everything was small. Pool. Small. Bath, small. Pillows infuriating small and hard. Other wise was decent. Clean and seemingly cheaper then most hotels in the area

I urge you not to come if you have an Animal accompanying you. The pet friendly rooms are horribly taken care of. We brought our dog to stay here and the room they gave us was awful. Both the hotel room door and the bathroom door had scratches and chips all over (not just low where animals could have scratched, but also around the door handles and by what looks to be a lock that was removed), making us feel unsafe. The microwave was extremely old and had huge chips in the interior. The fridge was unplugged and left a water residue on our belongings inside. And the shower made an awful noise when it was coming from the bath faucet instead of the shower head. Overall, we paid close to $150 for one night on a weekend for a room we felt unsafe in.

We were not given the rooms we'd reserved. 2 queens became one. The advertised a hot tub n even confirmed upon reservation.... but do not have one. Our room had a smell to it. The heat didn't quit running unless we shut it off and then there was a huge draft. The manager accused us of smoking in our room, which we definitely did not do. Had to call priceline and work through them to get our spirit back and not be charged an extra$150 on top. Cameras would've shown that we went outside to smoke, often and Sarah in our vehicle. We were there for a family funeral..... this is not the place to go if you want less stress!!!

My grandson made a reservation online, went to check in and was told he could not rent the room because he was 18. He enlisted in the US Air Force, graduated high school, was on the high honor roll and is driving 1200 miles to pick up his brother and can’t rent a hotel room?! He said the older, blonde woman was rude to him.He ended up going to a different location with no problems. We won’t be using Days Inn in the future.

Beware!!! This hotel has contracts with other companies to discriminate and bam certain people from getting a room after they have taken your money. They took my money and then refused to give me a room because I used to work for a local trucking company. They said the have a contract with that company to deny past K&B employees from renting from them. Apparently the contract says nothing about them taking your money though because they had no problem keeping my money though.

Good morning! I am from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and when my truck broke down south of the city, I stayed at the Days Inn from Thursday midnight until Saturday noon when my truck was repaired. My room was very clean and quiet. Staff were very pleasant to deal with as was not sure when my truck would be repaired. On Saturday when my truck was ready and no shuttle from the Ford dealership, the owner even drove me to the garage to pickup my truck. Very good of him! I would definitely stay here again even under different circumstances, holidays.

As convenient locations just off the highway go this one is pretty good. 1. Pet friendly. 2. Fast check-in with a reservation. 3. Several fast food offerings within walking distance. As a plus, you're just an 8 minute drive to the Sargent Floyd memorial of the Lewis and Clark expedition. This site offers a good view of the Missouri River valley and good historical information about the L&C experience.

Fantastic stay Beds were very comfortable and we had a nice too sleep in. Customer service was stupendous, greeted with smiles, and warm, happy, welcoming feeling. Our room was just right when we walked in. No adjustment needed on the air conditioner what so ever. Breakfast hard-boiled eggs and yogurt just my type of breakfast, waffles were available to make so was cereal. Thank you for a great stay

I forgot to mention the King bed room I rented couldn’t be cleaner and well kept. It has a flat screen tv and refrigerator that work perfectly. A desk with the window view just like the big wigs. The hotel is in between and a block away from Sams Club on one side and Walmart on the other.

Can’t recommend. Sheets were threadbare. Ice machine wasn’t working. Overall condition of the property seemed run down. Note: no elevator to the second floor. If you have mobility challenges make sure to request a ground floor room.

The room was nice enough and clean, but had some of the ceiling paint and plaster in bathroom peeling but nothing dropped down on the floor. Nice towels and bed covers. A small breakfast buffet with self serve waffles.

Their was roaches in my bed. My toddler, my partner and I were staying in this hotel. We got back from a long day with family. My toddler was sleeping. Around 10:45pm I moved the blankets to get into bed a roach crawled across and under the bed. I complained to the woman at the desk and all they could offer me was a new room, which would be fine if it was a new room in a different building, but if theirs roaches in one room their will be roaches in all of the rooms. My toddler is sleeping, and I have to be up early in the morning. All they offered me was 30% off my next stay, like I was going to come back after that. I had an awful night sleep and kept checking the room and my sheets to be sure nothing was going to crawl across me in my sleep. I paid $128 to be comfortable, not anxious. I shouldn’t have to risk my own comfort and my child’s sleep. Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel.

This is my go to Hotel on several annual trips from Texas to North Dakota. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel has many new completed renovations, painted, flooring, new ac units, new beds.....always very quiet, very clean, even laminate flooring in pet friendly rooms, close proximity to food and fuel, even walking distance to Walmart if needed. It is the Best! I feel right at home on my visits passing through! Thank you Sioux City Days Inn!

Room was spotless and loved it had no carpet. Room did have a slight odor but it didn't keep me from enjoying a good nights rest.

Very happy with our stay! We brought our German Shepherd and were able to get a king bed w/access. The room had tile not carpet (I hate carpet) and an extra door direct to the parking lot where we parked our semi in the truck parking area. Breakfast was great, they had waffles and other light breakfast choices. Staff were all very pleasant and there is a huge variety of food choices within 10 min - from fast food next door to Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc. The room and common areas were very clean also. Will stay again when in the area!

It was comfortable. We were in handicapped room. The shower/tub didn't have anything to sit on for people who can't stand up very long. For anyone who sleeps in a chair, no comfortable chair are in those rooms. It's okay for regular sleeping people.

We stayed over Thanksgiving and were VERY SATISFIED. Used the great pool, rooms were very nice and staff were friendly and helpful. We live out of state and when we are in Iowa again, plan to stay here. Eating, gas, shopping nearby, too. Extremely satisfied.
