I'm a Wyndham Rewards Platinum member. This was my worst stay yet. Bed was horrific, slanted, huge indentation and horribly uncomfortable. Walls/ceilings are paper thin, so heard upstairs neighbor stomping and creaking at night and again all morning. Hotel wasn't busy, so they should space guests out. And get new beds!! Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. I didn't have the continental breakfast, but saw some other guests, who looked like they were enjoying.

Just came upon this motel cause I was tired of driving. But it turned out to be fine. Room was clean, had a bathtub with large soft towels (my kind of heaven). Breakfast was also ok 4 kinds of cereal, pack it's of oatmeal, you make your own waffles, 3 different kinds of bread & bagels. 2 kinds of juice. It all worked for me took my choices back to my room to enjoy. Right next door is a Casey's for anything else you could want. Also available is a laundry room, small fitness room & ATM on site.

The Good: Friendly staff, ample parking, convenient location, low cost. The Bad: The bed felt like it came from the set of The Flintstones, the bathroom smelled like a Marlboro research lab, the toilet was a stubborn flusher, the room fan was probably close to or more than 100 decibels. The recently remodeled floors are now hard surface, so when the people above you roll around in the office chairs, it sounds like a roller rink is located above your room. Those same floors and the large gap between the front door and the floor mean you can hear every conversation within 100 feet of your room. If you are looking for a good night sleep, keep looking. If you just need a convenient place to stay for a while, and don’t care about the litany of issues above, enjoy.

Kinda dirty, bathroom smelled like weed. I usually stay in low end hotels but this one was worse than most. Both the sink and shower drain didn't have any stopper. The shower was super loud unless on all the way to the hot side. Holes in comforter from cigarettes. The bathroom fan was hanging from the ceiling by electrical wiring. Breakfast was pathetic. Some waffles, Wonder bread and some over ripe fruit. Stay somewhere else.

I wasn't expecting free breakfast (waffles, cereal, juice, milk, etc). Also if you're a Wyndham rewards member (it's free), my room was $66 before taxes, or close to $100 without the free membership. 50' from a Casey's and pretty close to everything else. Room wasn't bad, but I smoke so I'm use to it. It's a Super 8, what else do you expect?

Stayed here for one night. The check in was quick and friendly. However, there is no elevator and the hallways smell like smoke. Very powerful smoke smell but the room didn't smell. It wasn't cleaned that well. The shower was a bit gross. Just one night here and I left. I would not go back if I was back in Sioux City.

My husband and I stayed in the Super 8 recently. This was my first time staying at a Super 8, and based on this experience I do not plan to use a Super 8 for a short stay again unless significant improvements are made. The room was simply appalling. First of all, the reception area had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. I will say, the staff was very pleasant at the front desk, so I will acknowledge that. However, once we made it to our room we were both shocked at the state we found the room in. It was very dirty, there was soap scum around the tub, hairs on the top of the tub, several stains on the carpet...the carpet clearly hadn't been vacuumed in a long time, there was dirt over the lampshade and all over the top of the fridge - this is really disappointing. Please don't stay here, pay a little extra for a clean room!

Stayed here a half dozen weekends in 2021. It's one of the best hotel deals in Sioux City area. (Pay btwn $65-$68 per night after all taxes & fees if you're using your hotel booking apps smartly.) Sufficient but not a quiet place; you'll hear everything going on around you and above you because of older bldg design. Most rooms fridge & microwave & safe. Carbohydrate breakfast served. Staff is friendly but laid back. Management seems involved and engaged locally, new locks on doors, you'll find rooms dated but sufficient unless you're picky about all things. Restaurants and pharmacy, stores, etc. within 1.5 miles distance.

This place was a disaster. For starters the bathroom sink was plugged solid & the maintenance man came down to try and fix the problem which he couldn't do & said their snake was broke so before he left he also had to fix a lamp & the TV. They weren't plugged in right also fix the remote control. The bathroom tub was really filthy & the two tiny cups in the bathroom had been used it looked like. I was literally afraid to get on the bed! We asked for a different room but didn't get one & we asked for a refund or at least 1/2 off the price of the room but was told no on that & finally got 15$ deducted. The front door chain was also broke. Don't stay there!

Awesome place to stay if you're on a tight budget and the Staff is Very Friendly. I would say this place is perfect for the younger people to stay old folks it's fine for them also just not all the fancy stuff they want.

Room was run down a little. Paint was pealing, carpet was dirty, bathroom essentials were low level. Most likely will stay elsewhere next time.

DO NOT STAY HERE! THIS HOTEL WAS DISGUSTING! We were on a long drive and should have known a cheaper hotel was too good to be true! My son, who is 10, would not sleep here it was so disgusting. We checked in late at night and after three hours of him not sleeping because it was absolutely the worst hotel/motel we had ever been to, decided to pack up and sleep in our vehicle.

Right by a major road in town and has a Casey's next door and a few other restaurants close by. Also the local roller skating rink is across the street from the hotel which is a good place to take kids that are active

Made a reservation online and they charged the card before I even got there. Room was okay, but fire alarm battery was dead so it was beeping. Took about 30 minutes for maintenance to fix it. You definitely get what you pay for. Front desk was still pretty nice though.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Like alot of others had said there is a strong smoke smell in the hotel. I was also placed in a room next to a bunch of others and they were yelling and kids screaming...not the best experience. No drains in the bathroom, cigarette holes in the comforter. This is the worst maintained Super 8 I've been to. I was only there 1 night for work thank goodness.

The guy at the front desk was friendly enough. But for $85 for one night spend another $20 and stay at a decent hotel. Both beds had yellow and brown stains on the sheets. I slept in my clothes on top of the blankets and I still might have chiggers. The building had a pungent smell to it. Room smell wasn't as bad. I did not use the shower after taking a look at the shower head. Waffles and cereal for breakfast, I did not partake.

It was kind of hard to get to the hotel off the main interstate, and the hotel clerk didn't tell us that to get to our bottom floor room we would have to go down 6 steps. I have trouble going up and down the stairs. It is an older hotel for $90 price for a king room, but it did have the usb hook ups on the bedside lamps.

The room upstairs had some issues so my room had a leaky ceiling but it was in bathtub. No harm no foul.

You get what you pay for, and I still believe I paid too much. The room stunk, smelled like smoke. Luckily I could open the window. The floors were stained, there were cigarette burn holes in the bed sheets and blankets. There was a piece of black duct tape in the bathtub and upon stepping on it I realized it was a hole in the tub that was being covered. Went to the bathroom the next morning and noticed a nail sticking out of the floor that I scraped my foot on. Luckily it didn’t cut anything. This is easily the poorest hotel I’ve stayed in. Staff was nice but the hotel itself is in very poor shape. I stay in a lot of cheaper rooms just to lay my head down for a few hours, but this one was the worst I’ve ever stayed in.

I'm not sure where to begin. The shower was DISGUSTING!!! They did not clean it whatsoever, there was hair all over the shower walls and floor, not to mention the copious amounts of stains and black mold all over the tub including cigarette burns even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. The carpet was something out of a horror movie, stains everywhere, random dips (I'm assuming were the padding was removed), the toilet looked like it was from 1950 (falling apart and rusted). I woke up the next morning with 2 huge bites on my left thigh, hopefully it isn't contagious. It was not worth the $115, save your money and put another $20 towards a nicer hotel.

So, cheapest place in town for the quality. If you need a place to shower and sleep and that's it why pay more? Also they have free breakfast at 5am for those of us who need to get to work. And nothing beats those waffles πŸ§‡!!

We just stayed a week ago. The rooms are dirty as well as the bedding and everything else. To top it off we were charged a $200 deposit and we're not refunded. When I called I was told she would look into and then hung up on me and now will not answer my phone calls! Do NOT stay here!!!!!

The staff is extremely friendly. The room I rented smelled like cigarette smoke. There were burn marks on the beds. The ceiling appeared to be caving in. The bath was covered in soapscum. The usb outlets have been pushed into the sockets. The reading lamps did not work. The television screen had a small chip in it. The dead bolt on the door did not lock. Fortunately I had my camping gear, a ground mat and sleeping bag, so I didn't have to touch the bed sheets, or the floor, or the walls.

The place has a strong odor: a mix of smells such as damp basement, stale smoke, and old bowling alley. The sheets were stained. A towel was wet. Two lights didn't turn on (one was shattered). And the bathtub looked gross.
