Attitude/culture problem here. No greeting at the desk. Only one friendly front desk person on our weekend stay. Had to ask for my honors free items. Breakfast items were only half full each morning, and breakfast area wasn't busy. Breakfast people huffed and puffed when my kid spilled a few lucky charms on the counter. Fireplace on the patio doesn't work. Rooms are small, but clean. Hotel was clean overall. always towels in the pool. Attempted to contact management leave feedback, but never received a call back. We'll stay at the Hilton Garden Inn next time. Much better manage and experience there.

Worst hotel ever!! Called to ask if they had a pool. Was told they did only to find out after I booked and showed up that it was closed for maintenance. This was 30 minutes aftet my call to them. They offered to switch me to the northern property but that was cheaper and would not adjust the price. We was forced to stay and checked into room to find blood and poop on mattress pad. They switched us to another room which was fine but sold original room not 5 minutes later. We told new guests about what we found and hotel threatened us to make us leave with no refund. Sorry was just trying to help those guests iut. Just don't stay here!!

Horrible manager, very unprofessional and not very pleasant to some of our 30+ rooms we booked. Her clothes were half hanging off her when she came out, showing undergarment clothing and messy hair. Tried to explain to her about something got rude and defensive... at one point someone in our group recorded how she swore and yelled at us and all we were trying to do was check in... other lady who checked me in was amazing... but I think need to re-evaluate manager choice... as a previous hotel worker... I would be embarrassed to have her as my boss.

My parents, grandparents, and siblings stayed here last week for my wedding! We traveled 10 hours some longer to be there. We always stay at Hilton hotels so we booked no differently this stay. My parents brought their little dog. During my wedding they got a call in regards to barking, they left immediately to go pick her up. The next day at check out they got charged $250 freaking dollars as a fine! 1. That's more than the room itself 2. They never were told the pet policy about unattended dogs 3. There was no times or video proof with their room number given to show validation for this charge 4. The pet policy on the website is non existing just says "pet friendly". I guess from now on we will take our money elsewhere. A very sad day to be a Hilton honors member. The GM was nothing but rude and argued everything. We would like times of when the barking occurred and video proof! Also a signed pet policy my mom was supposedly given at check in. If you Staff isn't properly trained due to poor management that is no reason to punish the guests. Keep in mind guests are the reason you have a paycheck! Room was under the last name of Portra!

This was the last hotel we stayed at on a 2 week road trip, and it was the best! Very nice room, very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast. We will be staying here again!

We had booked a room here for the night of 9/30/23. On the morning before we reserved room 122 through the hilton app. When we got there we did not receive a digital key. When I inquired was told the Hilton app was down. Thankfully they did have a hotel policy agreement for us to fill out before they would give us a room. After about an hour of us being in the room a couple came through the door with a key stating they were just given the room. Okay. So we went out to dinner to return to find our keys did not work. Went to the front desk to be told our keys had been wiped clean when the other couple had been removed and they had also booked the same room thru the app. Sure. We did not sleep very well that night.

Excellent hotel! Front desk ladies were great. The hotel was packed and they were efficient at check in time. The pool is a little small but the kids had a blast on the slide. The rooms are very clean and you can tell the hotel housekeeping staff takes pride in cleanliness. Kudos to them! The beds were a little firmer than i like. The breakfast was sooooooo good. Best i've ever had at a hotel that I didn't have to pay extra for. The hotel lobby was spacious and our group enjoyed gathering there in between our activities.

This is the second time in the last few weeks I have had issues at Hilton properties. In this particular case the television channels were limited. I'm sure it is a programming issue on the television as I cannot even tune the station. The front desk claims that it's a cable provider issue. I explained however their Lobby has the channel so maybe it's not the cable provider. I asked if there's anything that they could do for me and their response was " there is nothing we can do. " I would have been happy with a free Coke. In general the property is clean no other major issues

Staff friendly as can be, pool, great! Everything else, not even close to being worth the money. Beds, hard as a rock, pillows flat as could be, tv channels would not maintain connection, towels were extremely rough, cooling feature smelled of B.O. tryong to be covered with viniger. For this price point I expected way better products to be used. No better than a 40 dollar a night hotel. I won't even consider a Hampton Inn again

Absolutely worst room we've stayed in during our cross country trip. Kids party ruled the lobby and pool. Running amok with little parental supervision. Room laid out as if things were just tossed in.

Terrible service. Rashel McCue should have been on site with as many things going wrong for ours and the dozens of guests waiting in the lobby 2 1/2 hours after hotels noted check in time. One elevator for a sold out hotel with three floors. Our initial contact at 3:15 for a HH 3pm check in was rooms were ready waiting for sheets? A 1/2 hour time frame for availability was given. We got the first of our three rooms booked in January at nearly 5:30 pm. The male staff was so indifferent commented "it happens" here's the GMs card. We have stayed at this property before. Other choices next time.

Nice room, perfect for a one night stay. For a new hotel it is quite noisy, both room to room along with appliances. Main reason for 3 stars is due to the slowest internet in a modern hotel I've ever had! Was told even paying for the premium internet wouldn't make a difference. If you travel for business and rely on wifi for work/entertainment I recommend the staybridge across the street, this place is a let down.

Nobody was able to check in until after 5:00 pm and then there were around 40 people waiting. An event is in the area, but no surprise, known for months. Claimed waiting for sheets to dry. Manager should have been onsite helping. Nobody seemed to work to resolve the issue, just give inaccurate assessment of when we could check in. Poor planning and poor execution. Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.

Absolutely disgusting. Sheets were stained with a rust color, either blood or hot wing sauce. Used soap left in shower. Clearly not huge on cleaning, changing out bedding. Everything felt like it had a layer of grime. Towels were sketchy at best. Night staff felt like they could complain about day staff while using profanity. Definitely not worth what I paid.

I had a nice room. Check-in was pleasant. But when I checked-out the next morning around 6:10am or so the front desk person was not polite or pleasant. I inquired as to why the breakfast was not out at 6am. He did not do anything other than not caring about it. He was basically an unfriendly front desk person. People who get up early and to eat breakfast are on a schedule because of work. A simple apology and can find out why it is not or give some type of reason why. If more employees are needed then as a leader for the hotel, that leader must step up and help the situation by working to get whatever needs to be done to accomplish the task. If needed get into the kitchen area and help or be proactive in finding out why. Good leaders are the ones that show up to work and are not afraid to do manual labor when there might be staff shortages etc. Saying I am not scheduled to be at work until a certain hour that is just not right. A leader goes above and beyond a customers expectations and the hotel front desk failed in that during this visit.

The location of this hotel was convenient, right behind a Target and near the highway. However, the outdated facilities and poor maintenance made for an unpleasant stay. The rickety elevator appeared outdated, with a service sticker from 2021. I feared it would break down while riding in it. The ice machine was broken during my visit. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. My room was cramped and looked straight out of the 90s with its dΓ©cor. The worst part was the terribly low water pressure in the shower and sink. Just a weak trickle came out, making bathing difficult. With how dated and dingy this hotel was, it's clear they have not modernized or renovated in far too long. This hotel is in serious need of updates to bring it up to current standards. New beds, new elevator, renovated rooms, and improved plumbing are just some of the improvements required for a comfortable stay. Until major upgrades are made, I cannot recommend this hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE TO IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR DOG!!! THEY WILL ALSO CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION THE DAY OF ARRIVAL WHEN YOURE HERE FOR A FUNERAL!!!! STAFF ALSO STATES THEY DON'T STRIP BEDS BETWEEN STAYS IF IT LOOKS DECENT!! THEY DON'T FOLLOW HILTON STANDARDS DIRTY SHEETS GARBAGE IN ROOMS. On June 24, 2022 My wife and i checked into room 127 with our service dog. Within minutes of entering the room, we noticed our dog was trying to get something under the couch. I lifted the couch up to see crackers, what look to be an old dog treat, and some jelly or something under the couch. Not only was it very disappointing to see our room had completely been cleaned, but our dog got ahold of some of it and ate it. Our dog has serious GI and IBD issues which she takes medication for and was taken to the hospital for prior to this stay. My wife notified a staff member working the front desk. She offered to move our room, but that wasn't resolving the issue of what already happened. My wife told her we were already unpacked, and wanted someone to come vacuum to make sure nothing else was under the couch. The next night we also asked for the sheets to be changed because my dog diarrhea from whatever she ingested. That was at 9am. We told them we would be out of the room for the day and they said they would. We came back after 3pm and the sheets had not been changed. They said the staff member had a family emergency and had to leave. I asked then why did someone else not change them. Literally poopy sheets had been sitting in our room for hours. They did absolutely nothing to make up for the dirty rooms or dirty sheets. Now my wife had a death in the family and we booked a room Tuesday November 15, 2023 for arrival Friday November 17, 2023. As we were on the road at 5pm after already digitally checking in on our app we got a call from a Christine saying we were on a Do Not Rent List at both of their properties and we would have to book elsewhere. When I inquired why she wouldn't. I informed I would contact Hilton. She said she would too why I have no clue. She literally cancelled our reservation the day of arrival after check in time with no real explanation. Coming for a funeral that last thing anyone needs is to have their reservation canceled. Why not call the days before arrival. This hotel and management is very rude and unprofessional.

This hotel is like a old wall with a fresh coat of paint. They do alot to look and somewhat feel like a pricey hotel but everything underneath all that is lazy and cheap, the breakfast is the same everyday and sucks for what you pay and also they don't treat staff well. Also for staff appreciation week they let the employees dress up as if they were still in middle school lol.

I was there for a job interview, the Head Housekeeper was amazing. The front desk attendant was kind and had great customer service. Although I have 16 plus yrs experience in housekeeping I didn't get the job. Nice hotel I would recommend staying there

Great location with a fun pool. One of the bigger gyms I have seen at a hotel with 3 treadmills. The breakfast was typical but the staff were amazing and friendly. Pet friendly. The beds are a little uncomfortable

Very nice Hampton location with an awesome pool area with slide. Family loved it! Proximity to shopping and food is great. Will definitely stay again anytime I need to spend a night in the Sioux City area. Staff was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed.

Comfy beds, big bathroom, good tv, awesome breakfast. Probably the best in town at a hotel. There is a essentials shop if you forgot anything. The pool gets a little crowded and loud with more than 6 kids in there and there was a basketball team staying when we were here. But you couldn't tell by the lack of noise. Great service!

I just want to say this stay was made by the wonderful lady at the front desk! She was there Friday night, Saturday and sunday... she was so personable and friendly! She also helped me find every location I was looking for .. she also cleaned up after a entire basketball team destroyed the breakfast room. Still kept a great attitude and a smile on her face! Great hotel and location but this stay was made excellent by her! She deserves a raise!!!! She had short light brown hair and glasses( I should have asked her name)

Super clean and inviting facility. At this market level and price point I’m not sure how they could improve anything. Would need to spend A LOT more to expect a better experience. Will certainly go back if the need for lodging in Sioux City arises on another trip.

This is an excellent place to stay in Sioux City. It is conveniently located to everything that I need while in Sioux City. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast was also very satisfying.

Christine the staff that is in the highest position here, unprofessional, defensive, and rude. Brought an issue up to front desk, no one called me back like they said, called back and received a hostile worker, Christine on the other end, letting me know she doesn’t believe me and they aren’t going to do anything about blood being found on a pillow in the room I was staying in. She said the blood was fresh so they won't be doing anything about it, let her know I'd contact corporate she wished me luck. Thank goodness for corporate, full refund.
