This was my first time staying here. It was beautiful with a beautiful view. It was 1 of the cleanest places I've stayed in. I did the finger check for dust on everything and they passed. Props to the cleaning lady Carmen M on a great job. The lady's at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. We didn't use it but there is a pool here. Also has an added on place to eat. I'd absolutely stay here again. My only issue was a few things were damaged but normal wear and tear like shower curtain and 1 chair and a table base was peeling.

Very rude front desk people. Does not include free breakfast and for 4 girls to eat 1 plate of eggs and sausage was $69.00 at crave after the front desk lady told them it was free at crave. Paid $160.00 for one night.

Wow. This hotel does a spectacular job. The staff is extremely friendly. I can say that I and my plus one will miss this hotel dearly. The crave employees are wonderful. The restaurant is not only very good because of the food. It is good because they have a extraordinary staff who truly does care. I will miss going to breakfast, saying hi to the front desk, and seeing our favorite waiter at dinner. I was genuinely sad to leave after my stay. The one star reviews are simply people who did not take the time to appreciate and really care to engage with staff. Or step back and take a good look at this beautiful hotel and it’s amazing sites. If they did they would find a true treasure trove. To all of the staff thank you for making a difference. You made my stay all the more better. Five emojis that describe my experience are… 😁🤩🏨🧑🏼‍🍳❤️

Stayed in room 340. Balcony was nice. Bathrooms were clean. Room was located near electrical units outside so room was noisy. Room was very dated. Carpet was stained and seams were showing in middle of room and doorways. Furniture was stained. Diane the clerk at check in was great....morning desk clerk was not very personable. Coffee station was lacking. Definitely not worth the cost.

Our family usually stays at a different Hilton hotel when in Sioux City, but this time we decided to try this hotel instead. Hilton hotels are usually without any serious complaints and this is no exception. If traveling with children, this hotel is nearly perfect. The only thing missing is complimentary breakfast, which can be expected with this type of hotel. The swimming pools include a hot tub, a shallow pool perfect for smaller children, and then an average sized standard pool. The workout facility was meh. While they have a treadmill, bike, and elliptical, they had essentially minimal free weights. It would be great to see a cable machine perhaps. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There was ample space in the suite we had. As with many hotels, a few cosmetic fixes could be done, but really nothing major. Our room had a couch bed but no sheets in the room, so that was unfortunate. All in all, a good stay and will likely continue to stay here for future visits.

This was a good hotel, i but on the high side for price but the pool was nice for the kids and the rooms are clean. My biggest disappointment in the whole thing is there NO continental breakfast for the price you pay for a room they should be able to offer a breakfast of some sort. Very disappointing on that aspect and because of that I will only give it 4stars and will not be staying here again.

Rude staff. Front desk workers always treated me and my wife like we were a nuisance and always seemed to be annoyed with any questions. My wife hardly speaks English and when she tried her best to ask the older short haired front desk worker a question, she snapped back at her and tilde her to “Speak English!” Like a racist. Luckily I wasn’t there to experience it but when my wife told me I couldn’t believe it but decided not to take it up to Hilton corporate unless she did it again. The staff seem to treat the people like they’re not paying guests but rather annoying people that demand things from them. Why even work for a Hotel if you’re going to give people awful experiences?

Front desk takes 5 smokes breaks an hour at least, leaves the phone ringing off the hook and guest standing at the front desk while she finishes her cigarettes. Was very rude from the moment I walked in the hotel with my 3 kids and my sons cake. Charged me a $150 cleaning fee 4 days later on my card due to some orbies from my son's toy gun on the floor that they had to vacuum up. I wouldn't not recommend.

I am in town for a business trip and this is where they booked for me. It does not have a complementary breakfast, it does not have a cocktail hour and it does not have actual room service. The King suite has a very nice set up. But, I called the front desk to ask for an extra blanket and they told me I could come get one myself. I am actually at a hotel and asking for some guest services!! I’m not impressed.

I've been everywhere & this is a nice room at a reasonable price. It's spacious & comfortable. My only small complaint is the ambient lighting could be better in the room but there are plenty of close space lights.

The room, location, and amenities were great. The staff could have been a little more professional. They were very kind and helpful to me. However, the personal conversation between the front desk staff complaining about guests shouldn't happen while other guests are in the lobby.

Very nice rooms with mini-fridge & microwave, and half the rooms face the river so you may enjoy a view👌🏽 be prepared though: whether walking to the pool or the on-site restaurant or even to your room, at some point you will experience a LONG walk....for a small-town hotel it has Las Vegas-style walks 😏 other than that everything you need is on the property, and it's all presented in a pleasing way. Staff was not wholly professional but satisfactory enough. All things considered, worth it 🙂

Staff is friendly, attentive, and everything is clean and orderly. Very dog friendly too, with multiple outdoor pet relief or grassy areas.

The person who greeted me was AMAZING. It was almost 3 in the morning and I was exhausted but she was so friendly and upbeat. I normally ignore the spiel but I politely listened to her. They upgraded my room, too, which was nice.

Lady at the front desk was wonderful. She always makes our stay more enjoyable. Be prepared for a long walk to Crave though. They have signs up to help get you there, but it's a fairly long walk from the lobby since it's beyond the conference and ball rooms. It has a pretty view while you eat though.

I was surprised at how noisy the rooms were at night. Front Desk Gal was SUPER nice! Thank you! For $200/night, I was hoping for a bite to eat before I went to work. That's extra! Too bad the bedside spotlights didn't work. That would have been handy.

Great place to stay. We would definitely stay here again. Rooms are clean and generally modern. On-site bar/restaurant is a plus. Staff are polite and helpful, especially Kylie, the evening hotel desk attendant/manager.

Well, let's start it off by saying, " Don't buy the breakfast! The food isn't even a little bit good, and the service was horrible. Also, if you want a good night's sleep, your car would be a better place for that. The beds look like 2 elephants lived in the bed. You could see the dents as soon as we walked into the room. Ice machines were broken, and the list doesn't stop there! To make it short, save your money and go somewhere else we we won't be doing back ever.

definitely not the cleanest hotel ive stayed in, there was still hair in the shower and on the bed when i arrived and the pillowcases and duvets had multiple stains on them. also too expensive not to have a free breakfast and at least a better coffee station

A very nice hotel. Way better than the one in Lincoln, Nebraska, that's for sure. The rooms are neat, clean, and updated. The view of the Misouri river from the window is lovely. The complementary breakfast at the attached restaurant was good enough. Would definitely stay again.

Our accommodations met our expectations as far as room functionality and cleanliness. There are some furnishings that are dated and wearing but it’s obvious they take pride in their maintenance efforts. The only item factoring in to lower our rating to a three was the lack of a coffee bar or complimentary breakfast and the quality of the breakfast at the adjoining restaurant, Crave. The breakfast buffet, $15.95, consisted of eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit and cereals. The hot item servers were cold and didn’t appear to have any warming capabilities. Even the coffee was lukewarm, yikes. Staffing was challenged, at best. I would not recommend Crave as a breakfast option. Dinner, yes. It’s not the highest quality food but it’ll suffice and it’s very convenient. So a three rating is a good solid and accurate rating.

One of the best accessible rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was at a perfect height. They even have a lowered nook for your suitcase. The room was spotless, the bathroom large and the roll in shower was great for me. The only opportunity - cleaning staff should be trained to leave the shower head & hangars at the lowest level, but that’s a common issue everywhere.

We come yearly for birthday dinners. This year our waiter rarely checked on us. Didn't get the birthday sparklers or the birthday song. Just a huge disappointment. We called and complained and they did offer a 50 gift card for brunch and that we appreciated

The rooms were small and the walls were thin. We could hear EVERYTHING above us and in the hall. The room was dark and uninviting. The hallway was dark with dirty carpet. The staff was friendly but don’t know if I’d stay there again. The refrigerator in our room was horrible. Other than the staff it wasn’t a great place.

Had reservations over the 4th of July but our pet sitter fell ill and we couldn’t find a place for our pets so we had to cancel. As for a waiver on the cancellation fee and to confirm a rescheduling through booking.com. Despite a 48 hour reply policy we received no reply just the deduction on our credit card. Calls the day of cancellation went unanswered and no return call on our voice message was made. We resume staying at Marriott. This was our first experience with Hilton and last. UPDATE: Management called back and refunded the cancellation fee while helping to reschedule our trip at a better rate. Wasn’t expecting that but was very pleased at how helpful she was.

Save your money and do not get the Riverview room. The blind dose not go all the way up, blocking the view you pay for. Toilet was running when we got into our room. We called the front desk and she offered to move us to a different room, but we said no, thinking we would be put in a non riverview room. The lady at the front desk was very warm and welcoming

Very nice place to stay. Restaurant is pricey but convenient. Staff is courteous and prompt. Call the desk directly for room rates as some of the 3rd party internet sites will gouge (as I found out the hard way) with booking fees!!

Staff was friendly and always ready to help. Crave restaurant had very good food & service. Room was above average. Lots of plug- ins for phones, electronics , but only about 50% actually wired? One suggestion is to allow bathroom fan to have separate switch; very loud and would wake others if someone used the bathroom at night…

We were able to get a room same night...(after we had reservations at another hotel and when we got there the hotel was under renovation and was closed). Customer service was great,,, rooms were comfortable and parking was very convenient.

I do business in Sioux city regularly and I will be staying at the Hilton Garden from here on. The accomodations are excellent, the staff is friendly and customer centric. very impressed.

Clean hotel, good location, room to park the uhaul. The only thing was the lack of breakfast. Ok so you have to pay $15.95 per person for a “buffet” that was as minimal as a basic hotel continental breakfast. Otherwise you could buy individual items like pancakes for $11.95. Maybe they’re short staffed or something but how about offer the breakfast for free in the lobby or be able to order from the restaurant for additional options?

the rooms feel like everything came from Ikea, but was put together by someone who didn't read the the instructions. lots of loose screws and things in awkward places. blinding white lights try to emphasize the "modern" look of the rooms, but it was more impractical than comfortable. the pool was nice, and they had a kiddie pool with fountains in it that was a lot of fun. the guest laundry was nice and clean. the staff was very nice and did the best they could in the situation. I'm sure the riverfront views were excellent, but $40 more. Oh, and Wm Bowen, they do have Faux News. channel 16. it's just not listed on the guide. you gotta be smarter than the TV.

A perfect place to bring your family and friends. Service is always spectacular, rooms are always clean and tidy, and the food is delicious, the breakfast in the morning plus the restaurant connected! I stayed here many times, and every experience was one to remember.

Well, the bed was comfortable, the view was nice, but shower didn't work well, tub stained and little, room was plain, floors kinda dirty. Not worth the price. The front desk was very good. Had lots.of services.. laundry.. pool.. food... I was very tired and had to stop driving. These places are usually good. Maybe short staff, maybe just need upgrade..I don't know.
