I ended up having a medical issue with my back which has me of restrictions call to cancel my service. They still took 3 payments from me I've been calling trying to get my money back and keep getting the run around now for months. they will rob you of your money and wont do anything about it to get it back. worst place of business I have ever dealt with. I would rethink getting a membership here and something happens to you and have to cancel they will take your money say sorry but won't do anything to give it back like get your business together I wish I didn't have to give them any stars..

Clean and friendly place to work out. I wish there was one closer but that is my only complaint. The staff are always friendly and they work hard keeping it clean and well maintained.

Planet fitness cancellation policy is hypocritical. If people can sign up online without a physical signature, people should absolutely be able to cancel online. Just another way to keep up retention and grab as much coin as possible. Capitalism at it's finest!

The staff is engaging and welcoming. The facility is among the cleanest I’ve been to. I travel for work a decent amount and this is best run facility I go to. Thankfully, this is also the main location I go to.

We are travellers who came from Singapore all the way to Iowa to do Ragbrai and travel America. As black card members who needed a shower after a hot day in Iowa, we visited planet fitness at 6.48pm, just 12 minutes before they close at 7pm. But Dana, the associate kept yelling at us to get out of the gym, saying that “planet fitness was closing” and that “she could no longer let people in”. We did not even go when the gym was closed but made it just before closing. While we understand that Planet Fitness is indeed closing, we had already promised to finish getting a shower in 10 quick minutes. But to be shoo-ed away in such a rude fashion..it was very shocking and hurtful to us. Dana’s behavior shocked us extensively as we had heard that people in Iowa were helpful to people who do Ragbrai and this person, Dana (the manager at Planet Fitness) - who denied us to have even a simple shower that would have made our day alittle more comfortable made us feel less welcome and frankly, quite upset.

This place is not a judgement-free zone at all. I was humiliated in front of everyone by one of the staff. I will NEVER come back here again! The only reason they even get one star is because the gym seemed well-maintained and clean.

I am so very pleased with Planet Fitness overall, but especially since they added the NuStep machines. Being elderly and somewhat disabled, I am unable to use many of the machines. The NuStep machines has changed my ability to get some quality exercise again. It is always clean, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The Hydromassage machines are icing on the cake!!

This place is always super clean and nice people. With the exception of the occasional idiot playing his music out loud or having a full volume chat through what sounds like a paper towel tube to a megaphone. Generally good.

Up to par for sure. I stopped in during my national tour for my hiking YouTube channel "Beyond the Pavement". Just like all the other planet fitnesses I've been to, it was clean and staff was friendly.

By far my favorite gym in town. I love how the staff remembers who I am every time I come in. Extremely helpful and nice. I also appreciate how clean this gym stays, you can tell the staff takes pride in their work.

Great staff, clean and well maintained, plenty of exercise machines and free weight, good value for your money.

The Gordon Drive location is my happy place! Clean, always friendly …. I especially love observing how the staff really take care of the newer members and show them around. I want to tell them this place is gonna seem like family, but …. they’ll find out. Beyond glad I found PF! ☺️💪

I love that gym I always go in the morning but today I didn't have time so I went in the afternoon I never take a bath I wait home so I decided to take my things to bathe when I finished my routine I went to the bathroom it was 9:10 pm The woman who was washing the showers is called Pam by the way I asked her if i could take a bath and she said yes I just washed it for u and I told her the smell is very strong she said it's just lime away off when I was taking a bath that thing she spray smelled so strong The hot water in contact with the lime away couse gases fast as I could. I couldn't breathe. I had chest pain. I went to the dressing room super fast while I was changing. My head and chest hurt. I told her . Can you tell me what was u spray can u told me again? that you sprayed and she told me lime away again I insisted that I did not feel well and she continued mopping nothing that I told her mattered to her and on top of that she told me to shut up her attitude that she is a person without feelings I did not feel well so I went to outside to talk to someone else because she told me without any remorse I don't care talk to the manager she arrives tomorrow at 6 am very disappointed that in a situation like this they don't have trained staff for a situation like this I really felt terrible and she She saw me sitting on the couch again and said omg so dramatic because she didn't feel what I felt i couldn't breathe i m super disappointed they dont gave train stuff to handle this kind of situation i could die there nobody care it was horrible i hope they check the cameras

This location is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. With any gym machines may break down from time to time, but in the past 3 years it's only happened a handful of times I remember, and it's always been repaired within a few days, usually working again by my next workout!

NOT CLEAN I saw a guy nit wash his hands and touching all equipment and not cleaning them.

Equipment is in good shape. Facility is clean and updated. Shower area is a bit odd. The showers have no temperature instructions. There are two handles that rotate, stacked. It's hard to explain. Anyway, it doesn't say which directions are hot or cold. I think one is for water pressure, but I'm not really sure? There are also no hooks inside the shower, which would be nice to hang a shower bag, or even a washcloth on. Also, more hooks outside the shower for towels or bags would be nice. For newcomers (like my family and I), there are some things we have found unclear. There are TVs, but I didn't see any instructions on how to get sound. Some of the machines appear to have TV controls but they don't work. So one would not know if they were broken or just not intented to work. The restrooms are not clearly marked, besides by an "m" and "f", well inside the doors. Some better signage would be nice. Overall, the place is clean and the few interactions I have had with the staff have been positive.

Great staff! Very clean gym! We would like some of the old Cardo equipment back though. The new machines have a shorter stride and are harder to use. Kelsey does a great job and the staff there are amazing!
