This Hotel is awesome, very clean, nice location, very nice staff, Leslie, the front desk person was so nice, The in-house restaurant is awesome, fresh cooked food, the Chef and waitress/Bartender even went out of their way to get me some lemonade because I dont drink soda . I would definitely recommend this place to stay if in the area. WE SHALL BE BACK !

Worked great for the event we had downtown. Easy walking distance to plenty of entertainment. Should have checked, but a little shocked to find out there was no breakfast option other than the restaurant in the lobby. Overall good experience.

Very clean, modern rooms. Loved the exercise room and the outdoor courtyard with the fireplace. Staff was very helpful and location is close to a lot of local restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

The bed was UNCOMFY and hard. The shower was a walk in and water got all over the floor. The room was also pretty warm when we first got in but cooled quick once the air was turned on/down. There's a bar or something close by and if your room is on the same side as the office you can hear the music and that kind of sucked. There are also lights all over the room..though I think 2 of the lights about the bed were burned out and 1 kept flickering so we didn't use those.

I am a medical traveler and I love this hotel. Every morning when I come in the door Ariel at the front desk has my room key and room ready with a smile on her face. I work nights so they put me in the perfect rooms away from noise. The staff are extremely pleasant, and easy to work with. The restaurant food is wonderful and an all together great experience. I will always recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel was nice the staff was very accommodating when it came to three motorcoaches coming in . We were very worried about parking the vehicles safely . The breakfast could have been better in my opinion which is the reason for the 4 star. The bed was comfortable the room was clean. Would definitely stay at again if I travel in this area for work.

Excellent establishment! We called on our way to Sioux City and the call was pleasant. The employee did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. We arrived and were in the room immediately. The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the staff and stay so much, we would definitely stay there again. We brought our 3 dogs with, and there were plenty of places to walk them. Highly recommend this hotel!

I love staying at Courtyards! They are always a very pleasant stay, and this one was no different. Great rooms, wonderful food & drinks, and amazing staff! I would like to give a personal note of recognition to Elizabeth. She was our server at dinner, and she was amazing. She was very personable and attentive to our needs. Her cocktail recommendations were spot on. Thank you for making the end of a long, tiring day a wonderful dining experience!

This hotel has been a great experience! I really appreciate how helpful and accommodating the staff has been. They’re really sweet and helpful! The location is great downtown. The rooms are so clean, modern, and spacious. All the little details of art, furniture, and finishings are nice. There’s even a place to eat in the lobby, a nice bar with great drinks, and Starbucks coffee shop. Parking is available in the back with a nice area to sit by the fire place or tables. A parking garage is also available in the back with an elevator for convenience too. Wonderful place to stay in Sioux City, IA. I’ll definitely come back to visit😊

No continental breakfast provided for 160 and up my daughter has to eat a 4 dollar banana and 8 dollar milk instead of being cordial and just simply providing it for their guest ... no bathtub in the room we got so that was also another reason why we will not be returning

Extremely overpriced with no breakfast or even coffee without paying extra fees. Housekeeping does not clean the rooms properly there was trash under the bed and behind the desk, the in room coffee maker was full of some type of liquid and not usable. The desk in the room also had dust or dirt like it was not wiped down after the last guests. My wife has bites after leaving that appear to be from bed bugs. Upon check out I was fraudulently charged an additional $250 for cleaning fees due to some temporary hair dye bleeding onto the sheets after showering. This is a very excessive amount to be charged for some simple clorox bleach in the washing machine!! Upon calling to discuss this the front desk lady was extremely rude and offered no real help in resolving the issue. We will never stay at this or any other Marriott location again and I encourage others to do the same there are much better places to stay where you will not be ripped off after checking out!

We had a great two nights in downtown Sioux City for SITP. This is a perfect location with Marto right across the street, but the dinners we had late Saturday from the in-house restaurant were great too. Hint - the City view looks at a parking ramp and a hillside, but you can't hear the trains! We'll be back.

Please be forewarned that this city, as I regrettably learned after I arrived, is nicknamed Sewer City (lady at Arby’s told me). It smells like a park bathroom throughout the entire city. The parking is also awful. Maybe they should have made the hotel a little smaller so they could have had parking. Lady at front desk also has a staring problem. Had to take melatonin to get to sleep so that I could wake up and leave the city as fast as possible. The air conditioning also barely works. After 6 hours in my room the temp finally lowered to 73 and would not go any lower. It was clean though - I will give them that.

My first stay at this hotel! Definitely feels more upscale than other hotels I’ve stayed in. Upon my arrival to my room however, I noticed my room door was opened slightly… uhhh? I went it anyway (and checked to make sure it was clear) and instantly thought it was a nice room! Everything is very modern and appeared to be clean. My room has a nice big bed, and all the usual amenities. I was really excited about the walk-in shower though! 😍 Would stay here again, and I literally just got here.

An extremely perfect hotel and personally my favorite place to stay. I came here with my family and girlfriend around a year ago and loved every second. The staff couldn't be nicer to all of us while staying professional. I don't know what its called but the snack shop by the front desk had a very affordable and wide selection.Their food they cook is delicious at a good price. I want to come here again to relive the moment!

The people at the front desk seemed unable to answer questions about the differences in room rates. They were extremely friendly and eager to help otherwise. Didn't use the restaurant but did use the little market by the front desk and it had what we wanted. The lounge is very nice. The location was excellent since we had a loved one in MercyOne. The room was great. I like the microwave and fridge in the cabinet. Out of the way instead of in the way. No door on the shower allowed some water on the bathroom floor but it was minimal.

This place is a joke when it comes to food service or the simple cup of coffee in the morning. There's NOTHING complimentary. That includes coffee. Went to the lobby for coffee, and had to wait in a line for 20min. ( Some people were waiting even longer) for a single cup of black coffee and it cost me $5. No free breakfast what so ever. Had to order food from the restaurant in the lobby. Folks waited for up to an hour. And most didn't even get the right order. Just did not make my start of the day good!!! Also had three people in our room and received one towel, one wash rag, one face towel.. We were there for a cheer competition so had no choice to stay. Im hoping in the future they can at least offer a free cup of coffee.

I had my wedding here. I paid rental for an Audio Video system that was in no way provided for us. My wedding was 40 minutes late because someone had to purchase a speaker, and no one offered any kind of refund/compensation. The carpet is stained. There were 4 “sales managers” that I spoke to, and apparently none of them communicated pricing or timing with each other because the initial quote for everything was 2k under the final price, and the “gentleman” that let us in to rehearse threw a fit the whole time because we were there at a time that someone else had coordinated with us. All in all a very needlessly disorganized and stressful day, what should have been the best day of my life.

Stayed 2 nights. Room was sold big enough for 4 adults. Came with a king bed and a small couch bed. Ok I can deal with that. Couch bed had dirty sheets. Asked for it to be changed. No housekeeping at night. Asked the next day said they would come. When they came they just left sheets. Didn’t change the bed. Also they didn’t have enough towels. So my room of 4 used the same 2 towels the whole weekend. Complained multiple times. I was told to walk around and find some on a cart. This is not Marriott standards. Zero stars for all of that. Two stars as the bar/food staff was great!!

We had to beg for 2 room keys. The mobile key wasn't working. The hotel was completely full so there was no cleaning services. You had to bring your towels down to the desk to exchange for clean ones. Leave your garbage in the hallway to be picked up. The rooms are very nice, super clean. Love that they are so close to the convention center. Had drinks & appetizers at the bar. Excellent!

Bustling and active location, with clean facilities and friendly staff. The room was "cozy" and floor level, with a direct line of sight to the city's night life. My only real issue was the noise level coming from the party goers and street traffic. I suggest if you'd like a more quiet experience, that you request a higher level room and perhaps facing the north (rear) of the building. I'm a bit of a princess.....so the bed wasn't really up to my level of comfort. If you're a night owl and looking for attractions within walking distance......this is the place for you!

Brand new hotel in downtown Sioux City. Across from Marto Brewing and just down the street from the Convention Center. Nice Bistro on site with good food selection. Only negative is street noise is noticable, even from the 4th Floor. Didn't quiet down until after 10. FYI if you're a light sleeper. It didn't bother me.

The Hotel it self was great clean rooms front desk was very accommodating. We used the bar for a drink. Prices were very high even for a Hotel bar. The worst part was the bartender/manager. I have seen wolfs be friendlier. Even when we walked through the lobby you just felt the she really didn't want to be there. This was felt by our whole party. Great hotel remove the negative from the bar area.

Check in was at 3pm. We didn't get let into a room til 5pm and we were told 15min then 30min. Then an hr wait. We were the only ones waiting for a room. The others that were with us got there at 5pm and were told there room wasn't ready either. Really did feel bad for the two girls working the front desk. There manager should have been the one dealing with customers. Wasn't not compensated or anything for our room.

The check in process was extremely fast and hassle free. The lobby is very inviting. Upon arrival to the room it was found somewhat dirty. Dirt swept into the corner , food debris and missing molding in the bathroom among other housekeeping issues. When packing to leave the next morning a stain was noticed on the blanket on one of the beds. The AC also did not work and it was a humid 75f all night. The body wash bottle in the shower (supplied by the hotel) was empty and when I brought this to the front desk she said “we don’t have body wash here” but yet I’m physically holding the empty bottle that was on the shower wall … I was provided with Super 8 style bar soap as the replacement. These issues were brought up to the front desk and I was told the hotel is full and there is nothing that can be done. I brought this up to the attention of V. Sanchez during check out who requested photos be emailed and we would work on some type of compensation. The photos were emailed to the email I was provided at checkout and still weeks later I have heard nothing. This is unfortunate being such a new hotel and at $173/night I expect a bit better.
