I would not recommend these apartments unless you have no other choice. They allow just anyone to live there. I heard police officers chasing our neighbors outside our window quite a few times. Packages always got stolen, and the cameras they have outside don’t actually work. Every time we opened our windows or deck our whole apartment would smell like whatever our neighbors were smoking that day. Walls are very thin, I could hear our neighbors fighting every morning. Hallway always smelled bad and was dirty. There is a big bug problem, you can see them in the hallways and in the units themselves especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Everything is very old and just never felt clean due to things being repaired by covering it up with paint that started to peal off after a few months. A few times that we had concerns and called the office they would either not answer and never return our call or wouldn’t have a clue on how to answer our questions and give us a different number to call. The only nice thing was the indoor pool, which eventually grossed me out from how dirty it was and having to watch groups of young kids come in without adult supervision. We asked to be there for the final inspection and of course they did not contact us for this so about two weeks after move out we received a $30 check back from our $1,500 deposit due to all the random fees and “issues” they found after we moved out. Not worth it!

I have lived in these apartments for almost a year now, and I have had zero issues. Management has changed over since I’be moved in, however both parties prior to moving in until now have been very kind to my roommate and myself, as well as patient since we are first-time renters. The office staff take great care to ensure the property is well maintained, from repainting patio doors to making sure maintenance requests are done in a timely manner. My neighbors are very kind as well, even giving a shovel to clear the ice off of my patio! Packages are stored in a locked room that requires an entry code, and also contains a working camera. I 10/10 would recommend South Pointe, especially for first time renters looking for something affordable!

Worst place I've ever lived in my life! The management is criminal. They said they would renew my lease, then turned around and did not. Then they gave me the wrong move out date and tried to charge me for it. They tried to change me $1700 when I moved out for the most ridiculous things! Stay away!!!

My roommate and I have lived her for going on 2 years now. For the most part it is great living here, office staff and New property management are great to work with and very friendly. Locked room for you packages to be delivered to with a camera in the room for security. A complaint I would have is they advertise heated in and outdoor pools, which have not been heated since I have lived here.

This is a great place to live and I highly recommend it. Well maintained. Any maintenance issues are taken care of immidiately. Rent is very reasonable. Utilities are low. Neighbors are friendly. Lots of parking. I really liked the mix of people. Great amenities.

My first place I called home when I moved to South Dakota. Maintenance always come to the rescue. The hallway is always clean. It’s a nice place to live. Awesome neighbors. I live here for three years and some months and it been a great experience.

Zoe was absolutely phenomenal from the initial meet and greet to my actual move in. She continuously made sure that everything was in top condition before I moved in and was also very easy to get in contact with to answer any questions I had.

I stopped by for a walk in showing today and although the unit was rented, Zoey still took the time to show me around! In my apartment search I haven’t had the best experience, so I really appreciate the kindness. Thank you Zoey! I will keep South Pointe in mind :)
