I have stayed twice at the Basecamp Lodge and enjoyed two of the different layouts. They are thoughtfully designed with modern decor and everything I needed. It was the perfect getaway location for a weekend trip with friends and a birthday vacation. Close enough to the downtown area, but quiet nestled under the mountain. Beautiful views and common areas. Would definitely recommend!

Our family has stayed in multiple cabins and each one has its own character. I love the beams and tall ceilings. I love the modern/ cabin vibe. My kids love the hammocks. The view of mt Shasta is incredible. Cabins were clean and cozy. We will definitely stay here again.

My family and I love this place! When I first saw the pecky cedar siding on the entire lodge, I was hooked. The cabins are spacious, tastefully remodeled, with stunning views of Mt Shasta from all over the property. And the location is second to none - it feels like you are in a mountain oasis, yet you are just minutes from downtown Mt Shasta and access to epic trails. We will come back again and again.

I’ve been to BaseCamp lodge several times, and always have enjoyed my time there! The views are fantastic and the proximity to the Gateway trail system is ideal as I love to mountain bike and run on the trails. The hosts are very responsive and the place has always been clean and quiet.

Cabin #1 was very well kept and comfortable. It has all functional amenities and a front deck that has a gorgeous view of Mt. Shasta! The outdoor space has hammocks convenient for a siesta in afternoon!

Beautiful place, and I had the most relaxing visit. There’s a courtyard with hammocks, picnic tables, and it has the most beautiful view of the mountain. It was very quiet, and you couldn’t have a place that was more central to everything, yet quiet and secluded. I will be a regular visitor here!

Our family had an amazing stay at Basecamp lodge. The property was full of character and was stylish, comfortable, and welcoming. It was great for kids and the perfect location for a day on the slopes. Communication with hosts was top notch. We made wonderful family memories during our stay and are looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Experiencing all that Mount Shasta has to offer from the most peaceful cozy Cabin has made Basecamp Lodge feel like a home away from home. With its blend of rustic and modern, and all the amenities to prepare delicious meals, my time here was so memorable. Just a mile from the heart of downtown Mt Shasta with all of its coffee ahoos, restaurants and shopping options, it was amazing to be in a quiet wooded setting that made me feel like I was in a mountain retreat! Views of the mountain from the courtyard, a few minutes from exploring Bunny Flats, there’s no other place I’d stay at in Mt Shasta than Basecamo Lodge. 5 star experience!

We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay, including blue sky and sunshine to make the mountain spectacular from our sunny spot in the common courtyard. Thanks for a great spot to stay in a place of heavenly beauty.

Beautiful cabin (#1), outdoor space and view! Loved the location - close to everything and enjoyed being right across the street from Gateway Peace Garden. Felt like home during our stay in Mt Shasta. Easy check in/out and had everything we needed and more. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute place, plenty of room for 8 plus a baby, VERY CLEAN, and it had everything we needed. The hosts are very responsive if you have any issues. I don’t think it even took 15 minutes for them to contact me back. I would absolutely recommend this place for a family or group stay. I also loved the modern updates to lighting, beds and such!

Amazing cabin. Angela & Taylor were very attentive giving us all the details needed from the get go so we had a smooth and very rewarding stay. Comfy cabin, all amenities that we needed were provided. The bath soap provided was pure heaven!!! I'll be back many more times. Another plus was the cabin just being a few minutes away from the bunny flat trailhead. Best experience in a cabin ever!

As a family of 4 we had a very comfortable stay in Cabin 2. The accommodations and communication were great. We needed nothing during our stay.
