Great mountain, tons of runs without being too overcrowded especially with the new lift. If you are newer or even a beginner it's nice to have some long, wide green runs that easily transition into blues if you want. Worth the trip, awesome spot!

I’m giving this all the stars for this being beautiful and family friendly hills. Great diversity of long runs on three separate hills. No knocks against it but the snow coverage can be sparse and the quality of the snow is not as good as other mountains. But the good price, lack of lines - that’s golden. Fun ski trip.

Your best skiing value in California and my personal favorite park. Terrain for every skill level, including a tubing park. A great place to ski or board with friendly staff and locals. Top notch rental shop. Excellent education program. Great food at the grill. Season pass deals preseason every year.

What a great place to ski and snowboard!! It's a refreshing change from Tahoe, however it's not Tahoe but that's part of what makes it so much better. Short lines, friendly atmosphere unbeatable views of My Shasta. Yes it's a little further than Tahoe from the bay area, but hey, stay a few more daysπŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ‘

This was the first resort I snowboarded/skied. My friends took my to the top of Marmot and said good luck my first time snowboarding. I also yard sale-d the first time I tried skiing. I still come back every year. This is a good mountain to learn and progress on. When the snow is dumping, this place is super fun. Had a chance last year to hit up Grey Butte on a powder day and it was the best time I ever had at Mt. Shasta. If you go, check out grey butte. It's a pain to get back to the park but worth it, on a good pow day. I bought the Indy pass a few years ago and this was on it. I have a season pass this year ('23/'24) which also gives you 3 day access to other powder alliance resorts. Hell of a deal.

At Mt. Shasta ski park you will find a local mountain vibe with family/friendly atmosphere. The terrain was recently expanded with the addition of Gray Butte lift, which added another, more scenic dimension to the park as well as 1,000+ vertical and robust/diverse acreage. The opening has been a smash hit in 22/23 season which saw record snowfall and abundant powder days (with little to no lines). Compared to Tahoe hills you will find diminished acreage, but hardly find this a compromise when you are able to ski untracked laps on powder days, reaching the bottom only to find a chair all to yourself. When it’s not dumping fluffy pow pow on your heads, Mt Shasta ski park offers beautiful vistas of the southern Cascade mountain range. On an ideal day, you will be able to ski above cloud line with heavenly views. The park has something for everyone - especially beginners. But if you are an intrepid all-mountain free ride type, you will find the terrain has rewarding areas for you as well. The mountain base vibes are friendly and it offers a couple restaurants (diner style) and live music with beer on tap. Come looking for simple accommodations with beautiful natural views and you will be rewarded.

So much fun, such a great mountain with scenic views. The lift tickets were very affordable, and so were the rentals. I unfortunately got injured, but the medics there were so kind. The lifts were daily under-crowded allowing us to get many runs.

My daughter had an amazing experience with her first ever ski lesson! She loved her instructor, and the rental gear was great for the value! Will definitely be back for more lessons!

It's very nice. VERY affordable! Parking is ample and easy. It has a quaint vintage feel inside the buildings. Pleasant and helpful staff. It's not very crowded, so that awesome. The slopes have a lot of variety. The greens though feel a lot more like blues at other resorts. And the black diamonds are definitely black diamonds. They have a nice little food court. It didn't look like there are any gluten free options. Maybe one or two and some stuff in the vending machine.

It was a nice park. The rental department was great 8 out of our group rented equipment the staff were all friendly and got us in and out pretty quickly. It was my sons first time snowboarding. He tried it on his own in the morning but we decided to get a lesson in the afternoon the manager in guest services was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We were a group of family & friends for a total of 10 of us and 7 out of the group took lessons and everyone really enjoyed their instructors and felt like they learned a lot and their instructors were knowledgeable and friendly. The park was clean with a few different levels of runs. Not a lot of snow but it did snow a little the night before and that morning so there was a little powder. There were bathrooms outside and in the lodge they were clean and easy to find. There are small lockers in the lodge you can store small items for .50 cents but need quarters only and you will need .50 cents each time you get in your locker. The change machine was out of order while we were there and I had to go back to guest services for quarters but they were nice as well. Plenty of seating inside the lodge it was nice and warm with multiple big windows to watch what was going on in the park there was also a bar connected with a fire place and quite a few tables outside. We brought our own lunch and snacks we didn’t use any of the food services. Overall it was a great day and we would go back next season.

Today was a crazy busy day. The staff all took their time to be kind, explain all the things, switch out boots, they helped deal with an injury, and each instructor (especially Jeremiah πŸ˜‰) went above and beyond to ensure we all had fun safely. Even the pizza was delicious. We couldn't ask for a better crew to usher us through this fun adventure.

Ski Park gets full, so you have to arrive 1 hour before it opens. Some of the trails are great but others are plain that if you have snowboard you have to walk.

We skied on green slopes only Didn’t go to the more difficult side Nicely groomed Long Green Slopes for Beginners to Average Levels on one side of Park couple runs not open….. not sure why but snow level last week was low They groom and make snow for many of the slopes Lift well run and can handle a lot of people efficiently Nice outdoor seating to have a break and watch the activities nearby Large parking area and convenient facilities next to the slopes Friendly Staff! Hope they get more snow but was a great day for the convenience and price and slope conditions πŸ˜€Feb 2022

I have skied here since I was a kid and I think it is one of the most beautiful ski parks I have ever been to! Ditch the traffic and long lines of Tahoe and support small business ski parks! It is a small park but there is a lot of fun terrain to explore!

Fun small mountain resort. 32 runs all pretty exciting. Nothing super challenging for an advanced skier. All the people working there are friendly and helpful.

Very different from other soil I’ve ridden. Super deep, and it feels like surfing deep sand. Definitely fun on an eBike because you can more easily get up to speed out if the turns.

Very fun ski park. Lots of green runs for any learners on one chair then blue and black diamonds on the other side. Terrain park had some massive jumps and lots of features. The three original chairlifts aren’t high speed so I’d a slow ride up.
