It says it's a five star hotel. I would give it a maximum of 3. I don't think it deserves more than that. We went for half board. Our expectations were high for a 5star hotel, but unfortunately, it turned out than the rooms were really small and that bathroom didn't have a proper door, just a glass wall that didn't fully close. The ventilation system didn't exist, so you can imagine going to the toilet without any ventilation afterwards. Also we weren't provided with water. We had to buy our own. No toothpaste, no toothbrushes. That was a big fail. Although the rooms were small and we didn't like that, the cleaner came in every day to wipe the floor and bring in new towels. The food was not diverse. You didn't receive a great variety of fruits, meat, desserts especially, etc. The quality of the food was okay, but like I've previously stated, doesn't deserve a 5star rating. The breakfast was the same every day. We got bored of it already. The good part is that it's very very close to the beach and to the center of the city. The water was clean, with pebbles. Overall it was a great experience, but too far from the international airport (3h on the road). I recommend it of you want something quiet and simple, more for families with kids.

Negatives: 1) poor hospitality and flexibility to meet client’s needs as even though we had booked x3 double rooms for 3 nights, out of which x1 with a 7 months old infant, and requested an early check-in/late check out the hotel didn’t accommodate any of the two (hotel base line policy is 11am check out / 2pm check in). After adhering to the baseline hotel check in time we were being pushed from the one day to the other by the hotel staff and finally didn’t get the late check out in any of the rooms causing a lot of inconvenience especially with the little one. 2) There is no care for the people that do not belong to the “all inclusive” clients of theirs (coming primarily from France) even though we have been charged on a very high rate per night comparing to those customers after checking verbally with them on their commercial existing “all inclusive deal” 3) Very expensive snack bar and drinks menu with poor service if not part of the “all inclusive” clients (9.5€/G&T served in a taverna glass with melted ice cubes) 4) In general warn out rooms that definitely need a refurbishment to their “90s” style. Definitely not justifying the 5 stars ranking of the hotel and the rate per night. Positives: 1) great location & overall hotel gardens landscape 2) clean waters in pools & nearby beach 3) good quality breakfast with a lot of choices

Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to flash flooding in the hotel and the rest of Sitia. We knew that the people of Crete were known for thier hospitality and generosity and the staff here have gone above and beyond in such a scary uncertain time. They have been absolutely faultless and my self and my partner are extremely grateful for all their help. We will be back when the hotel has recovered from all the damage. We wish the staff the best of luck in getting it back to normal.

Good hotel, but in urgent need of refurbishment (definitely not a 5 star resort by standard). The main downside is a busy and noisy road separating the building from the beach (although, truth be told, the same applies to all hotels in Sitia). Friendly and helpful staff. Below average breakfasts. Very convenient location on the town's outskirts, yet just a few steps away from the main promenade.

I am rating with 2 stars in the context of the hotel being a 5 stars hotel - which we strongly question. The service is not up to a five stars hotel. That includes the quality of the welcoming process (in my experience with other 5* hotels there has always been a welcome drink and an offer to help with our luggage). Because we were not part of an all inclusive deal we were asked twice at the breakfast buffet if we are hotel guests, which made us feel uncomfortable. This is a hotel focused on all inclusive group entertainment and the activities looked outdated to us, even though we did not join in of course. Hotel management were not flexible with our check in and check out process despite saying they would do their best, they did not offer us any additional time or alternative solution. Snack bar prices were high and the quality was low. The positives were the location, the access to the beach, multiple pools and good breakfast.

I stayed here in August of 2021. it is of one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! it's very close to the beach and also Sitia's "waterfront" centre. every restaurant I've eaten in was great there. I recommend walking to the centre every evening to sit in a waterfront café. it's a 5-10 minute walk. the lobby is very nice, gave us some extra towels for free when we asked for them. the pool is clean and warm (most of the time). great food (although the olives were a little bit too salty :)) I'm a very picky eater, so it really surprised me that I had a plate full of food from the restaurant every day! there is a hospital, a few streets full of shops and a historical place in walking distance, great location!

We enjoyed our stay. It is a good hotel with several swimming pools (full of kids) and a possibility of the half pension or all inclusive service. Nice view! However, it is definitely not a five stars hotel. May be it used to be, but not in 2021. Not enough parking places for all guests, no any welcome drink, not even water (33 degrees outside), the beach is not so clean, and it smells the road. The free drinks at the dinner are disgusting but the wine for 15-20€ is good. Good breakfast.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. I'd give it 3 stars maximum. The food from the buffet is just... disgusting. I can't imagine how someone could come to a place with such a nice food like Greece and just eat what's offered in this hotel. For sure not the type of tourism I'd go for. Staff at the restaurant made us feel uncomfortable.

A BIG "all in" resort , for a family-friendly stay. Or if you like like kind of "quality timing" without any thinking. It's probably place for you. Yes this hotel have everything you need, for pleasure staying. But why do I give this hotel only 3* , it's because it's not that special anymore. But please it's only my personal opinion. 😏

Its glorious days was in the last century. Guest reviews of staff members are correct. very polite smiling. Happy to help with any request. The dining room is clean. The food offered at breakfast is varied and suitable for everyone. There is a large pool and they have a beach across the road. But this is also true about many other places in the area. They also have nice staff and a pool and service. A five-star hotel has the luxury that a four-star hotel does not have. And this hotel does not have the luxury of five stars. A few years ago the eastern part of Crete was quiet and calm. Things have changed and many have found this area very attractive. The hotel that was quiet is today on an active road to the east. There is a big gap between the pictures and videos you find on the internet. If that’s the chosen hotel for you Try to order the big rooms. Maybe it's a little better.

Lovely family hotel in Sitìa, with many pools, a lovely breakfast, and if you wish, lunch and supper. View in the morning with sunrise is breathtaking.

We arrived in Sitia Beach Resort last Wednesday for what was supposed to be a week. The hotel is beautiful, the food amazing and the staff very kind ! Sadly our trip was cut short because of the flash flooding that happened in the hotel and Sitia this weekend. The staff did their very best so that everyone felt as safe as possible in such difficult times (flooding, no electricity or running water, …). I wish the staff best of luck and that the hotel, as well as the city, can recover quickly from all the damage.

We were on holiday in Sitia Beach Resort for a week on October 2022. The stay was very good. We would come again. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time very much. Among the 5 star hotels worldwide gets a 3.5 star out of 5 from me. Which was really great: Room 4/5: We had a Standard double room with sea view. Sea view is wonderful. The facilities are good. Service Staff 6 stars out of 5: You get a warm welcome. Every morning and evening there is a service staff at the entrance of the restaurant and they welcome you in a very friendly and cordial way. They speak english, german, french, and other different languages which i did not recognized. Bar 5/5: The older bartender is warm and super friendly. He makes great drinks: Special good with him, his mojitos. B52 ;) is also to be recommended with him. Drinks are 8 - 9 euros each. The service can't be better. Massage 5/5: You get 15 minutes of free massage, which you can book individually to one you want to book. The masseuses were warm and responsive to individual massage needs, which are communicated in advance with a tablet. Intensity ets. Beach 5/5: You have your own entrance to the beach, which has to be emphasised. It has a sandy beach, the sea is very calm and warm. Room service 5/5: The room service always cleaned the entire room excellently. The animation programme 5/5 is really worth seeing. They organise discos, amphitheatre shows. The group that is on site also does cool excursions. Food 3/5: There is a huge choice. But the quality of the food is clearly gigantic buffet quality. (medium) Breakfast 3.8/5: Quality at breakfast was better. Fresh eggs, fresh orange juice or smoothie. Bacon was not fresh. You have to queue for a long time for crepes. Coffee 3/5: The coffee was not good in my opinion. There is cappuchino and latte, but it is not freshly ground. The coffee is like it is in the south, it has a special taste. Fitness 2.5/5: In the FItness the air conditioner was broken. Outside = inside 32-35 degrees. The running machines were defective. The dumbbells should have weighed more than 4 kg. Have. Game Room: Billiards table was broken :(

We had from 15th till 25th of June 2022 a wonderful stay in the Sitia Beach Hotel! Nice clean suite, delicious food! Staff and crew were very friendly and helpful! Especially thanks to the hotel manager for a good overview! Also for good advice of Roula at the reception and Elleana of the pool bar for the best Cafe Frappe of Crete! Little advice: Place a simple cloth-cabin near the beach and the pool! Stay all healthy and see you hopefully in the future again!

It was our 10th stay at the Sitia Beach Resort and for us as a family with 3 children it's the best choice in Crete and Mediterranean. The hotel offers great restaurants, nice pools, a beautiful private beach. In addition the stuff is amazing - everyone is very friendly and helpful. Especially as well the F&B-Crew, especially Dimitris delivers an outstanding service and quality in all Restaurants. Thanks a lot to the whole team for making us such a great holiday!

We were sceptical at first booking this resort in this little town in Crete but left feeling heartbroken that we had to go home! Sitia stole our hearts! This hotel resort topped off our whole stay, the most amazing helpful and friendly staff!! The whole resort is spotlessly clean, our room was fabulous and spacious with a beach view and a decent sized balcony 🙌🏼 the breakfast buffet was the best buffet I had seen in Greece, so much selection to suit everyone from sweet treats to delicious savoury healthy items! 3 stunning swimming pools, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas! The life guard would even get more if there happened to be none there for you so you were never left without! I honestly have nothing bad to say whatsoever, we already want to come back!! ❤️
