A hidden gem in the north part of Chicago! We brought our bikes and biked along the biking trail - very enjoyable afternoon. Sculptures were done by many different artists, so we could enjoy different styles and appreciate the variety of messages the artists tried to convey. Not many people even in a sunny day, making it a very tranquil place to enjoy a weekend afternoon. A good place for families and friends to picnic too!

This is not art. absolutely terrible sculptures. I sure Hope the city didn't pay for any of this stuff because then I'd be inclined to think the entire thing was a scam or some type of money laundering with the city council or Mayor. There's ridiculous sculptures all over the city. absolutely none of them have any type of artistic value whatsoever. I grew up in this town remember when there used to be actual art around, like the sculpture outside of All Star Lanes.

I love it! I had Google scruptures parks and this came up. Absolutely beautiful. The park is huge! There is a walking path, and the scruptures are right there along the walking trail. You don't have to walk a mile to see them like some park make you do, lol.

The park runs alongside the river. Just next to the road. There are 3 parking sections and at least 3 sculpture sections. There is a bicycle path 2 bathrooms. One is just a porta-potty. There is a doggy park and a place to rent a row boat but 8twas on the other side of the river. Not sure how to enter there.

This is a great place to see many different forms of sculpture and its free, each art piece is unique and using the self guided app. Works great, you can walk your dog, many do, I did and he loved it. Please don't litter there are many trash cans available keep the world 🗺 clean.

Beautiful and tranquil with river on one side and McCormick st on the other. There are small car parking all along the length of the park. There are porta potty's instead of traditional restrooms for the visitors convenience .

Nice walking/biking trail but it is close to the road so you get traffic noise. Interesting art to look at along the path. No weirdos, robberies or shootings so 4 stars.

  • 3/5 Cynthia S. 2 years ago on Google
Really did not get any of the weird abstract art except the horses and it was not at all what I thought it would be. It also runs along a very busy traffic route so not very peaceful. The coolest thing about it was the teams rowing for practice in the river next to the park.

Beautiful two mile walking/biking path with sculptures along the way. Even driving by is a treat. There’s a guided tour schedule and an app you can download to get information on the artwork. Another great example of chicagoland’s commitment to public art.

I honestly had to give this a solid review cause I love hiking and art. This place is beautiful, peaceful, quiet, great place for a nice Sunday walk.

Does seem to be money-laundering/bureaucratic thievery based on how undeveloped this "art" is. Who are these "artists," what are their connections with political leaders, why was their "art" chosen, what was the process of curating this sculpture park? It is an eyesore in the community, and an insult to the intelligence of the community members. Support actual artists, not rich pals who happen to have access to scrap metal and power tools. A joke.

Sculpture park does not do it justice!!! This Amazing long path along the river starts all the way at Devon and is dotted with a Myriad of sculptures in different styles and for differing tastes.

Great place to bike, walk, run or just have a picnic. There is a trail that its narrow parallel to McCormick bulevard and it starts on McCormick and Foster in Chicago and continues through Skokie and ends in Evanston. The part in Skokie is where they have the statues and ALL of it is GREAT!
