My favorite bar in the city. Live music and funny staff.

A great little bar down a tiny steep backstreet which, despite the loud and lively music during the day is a lovely place to relax, and in the evening there’s live music and a great atmosphere. The range of drinks is brilliant with the wonderful prices you expect in the city and the staff are superb, being really friendly to chat and engage in interesting conversation. As a spot to escape the summer heat while exploring I’d highly recommend stopping off here!

Excellent bar to have a drink and have a good evening with good music and above all the live concerts are great. But the best of the best is the welcome, the service and the professionalism and sympathy of the staff, the waitresses and the manager. Thank you, for the moments spent in your bar. For food there was just a few cold mezze options, which were still delicious! Atmosphere is great as well as service! Waitresses were very attentive and friendly. Great rakija bar.

Rustic llittle bar on steep cobbled area on old town. Beers, wines, a great array of rakia. Very friendly and helpful waitress. Happy to take payment by card or cash in pretty much any currency.

If you ever find yourself in Skopje I really recommend Rakija Bar. Really good and cold beer( as it should be), great Rakija and a huge selection of it, you should definitely try the so called "Road to happiness" and I guarantee that you won't regret it. The live music performed by local artists, lovely and friendly staff, the atmosphere, everything makes you want to come again. So I recommend to give it a shot! Thanks for the memories and the good times I had there! 10+ stars

Its an excellent bar with great atmosphere !! the girls that work there speak english well and they are friendly and helpful. The boss is really cool guy, although not much english be he is happy to try. The food ... you can order any food from any restaurant in skopje and have it there with some nice Rakija shots, the boss will order for you some local food if you don't know what to order. the are really lovely people there.

After attending the Free Walking Tour, we received cards for a free rakija at this bar. The seats were a bit cramped, but they were playing great music, and the atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend!

If u wanna dance- don't go here, if u want to eat- don't go here. If u wanna have a good drink and listen to good rock music (live as well) then this is a great place for u! Staff is brilliant, prices cheap to moderate! Strongly recommend if u trying to avoid folk music! Five stars because of my taste!

Great bar and reasonable prices. Funniest thing I saw was the staff re attaching the front door to its hinges to close up for the night. I thought only in the balkans🤣. Staff were friendly, good mix of people and quick service. 5/5.

A massive selection of Raki. So, if you like Raki, definitely check this place out. Service was probably the quickest I ever had (order to drink maybe 1 minute) but there was NO feeling of rush or that they wanted to have a quick table turnover. The music was sometimes way too loud to have a normal conversation though. In general, a nice place with lots of Raki and affordable prices.

Bar with a large selection of drinks, some of them very budget friendly. they also have some snacks. Smoking allowed inside. Bad bathroom.

Music 6/10. Customer service 10/10. Choice of rakijas and other alcohol 10/10. The only disappointment we had was when we tried to order chicken fingers (they had picture of them in their Google maps location when we looked) and the waitress said they don't have any warm food only "cold food"/appetizers.

It.s a very chic bar, they have around 40 types of Rakja, I had the caisa which was a bit strong, and the cherry which was sweeter. They had a small live band inside, a guy playing the guitar and a girl singing, the atmosphere was very nice.

Nice cosy pub, enjoyed a Rakija and a few Skopskos in there. Was very busy, I also got served very quickly by very busy bar staff.

Over priced. Touristy. The live music was good and thats why I gave two starts. But I thought other than that it was completely lacking in soul. There are so many better bars outside the old bazar. And only a ten minute walk at most. But then, to be fair, I have zero interest in craft beer and hipster nonsense.

This place bears the night life in the Old Bazaar of Skopje. Everyday here there is music events and there is people who play guitar. It's just lovely. This place is also called Rakija bar, they have like more than 40 different kind of rakijas. Go check it and enjoy ❤️

Not a bad place for a quick drink. Good music

Decent bar. Prices are decent, even with a potential tourist tax. They sell draught and bottled beer, and have a massive selection of local spirits. It's worth it for the Rakija alone. The atmosphere is pretty good - the bar seems to attract tourists and locals in equal measure. They do food, however there is also a pizza place next door you can order from, The live music is a bit of a mixed bag to be honest. It seems like some nights are karaoke rather than actual singers, which is great for the amateur singers but you do essentially roll the dice each time you go.

Amazing place. I was led here by my friends on the first day and I could quickly see why. This quickly became my favourite bar. It has an amazing atmosphere, the interior is nice, the whole place is clean, the drinks are great, large choice of rakija. You can often hear really great live music here which only adds to the atmosphere. The only downside is that the music tends to be too loud sometimes. This is not the kind of place where the guests don't need to hear each other. Tone down the music to conversational levels and it will be perfect.
