Park Woman Warrior is particularly rich in the number of statues that it has in a rather small area. In a country that is obsessed with commemorating in stone as many events of its history as possible, this park will confirm this obsession. You can sit in the shade of its trees, or you can visit for the sheer number of statues.

A beautiful park full of statues, works of art, right on your way to the center of Skopje. The park is surrounded by lots of shopping spots, malls and bazaars.

An interesting park with lots to admire and in a great location for checking out some other local sights. Plenty of seating throughout and the whole area is maintained really well, making it a nice place to take a wander through.

The Park of the Woman is located across the Parliament in the city center of Skopje. Now, this park, represents mesh and blend of monuments from the mythical deities, classicist traditions and the modern times.

A quiet, forested nice park in the loud and busy centre. Thoroughly changed ten years ago by the addition of new lights and statues. It sits opposite of the Parliament building, an interesting building, and on the other side are a few entrances to GTZ, a shopping centre built in the 1980s. I find it sad that many trees were cut down in order to build the statues. Nevertheless, it is still a great park. Opposite of the Parliament building is a statue of Prometheus in a fountain. This one, like almost all others is a new statue from around ten years ago. The statue was originally naked, though, after a controversy, it was reshaped and now wears pants. Behind Prometheus is a large marble arch with a path leading to an eternal fire (which is ironic, because the fire hasn't been burning for years). The path then leads to a tall single column with an angel on top. On the right of the bizarre monument is the monument of the founders of the ASNOM committee. The statue shows people standing around a man delivering a speech. The other side of the Prometheus monument is decorated with a statue similar to the ASNOM monument. This one is dedicated to the founders of IMRO (a political organisation founded in 1893, now a centre right/right wing party). It consists of several men kneeling on the floor looking at a book with a revolver and a knife on it. Then about 20 meters left of that is the statue of Pitu Guli, a local hero, on a horse. Next to it is an older plaque honoring Nevena Georgievska Dunja, a partisan who died in world war II at age 18. Continuing on the left, there is a path leading to an old fountain/monument to child migrants. To the right of the path is a new statue of Pjeter Bogdani, a famous albanian writer from the 17th century. To the left of the path is the also new statue of Kuzman Josifovski Pitu, a partisan. At last there is a statue for the fighters of the 2001 conflict in Macedonia. There is also a statue of Taras Shevchenko and another poet. The trees are big and wonderful. A great park to visit to cool off in summer after shopping or after taking a walk.

Small park, there's not much to say about it. It's near a very busy main street so you're likely not going to get peace and quiet if you go here. It feels very much like it's there because the city had to fill a quota for how many parks it must have. Although, the city center isn't filled with too many parks, it's still a welcome piece of greenery amid so mucj cement.

Great park, with water fountains, and drinkable water, to take a little break from the busy city.

A park just outside the city commercial area. Lots of statues. Not particularly clean. Has seats and shade.

Once upon a time the fountain used to work, this park has been forgotten by the city, hope that will change in the near future

Great place during the day, junkie central during the night, Gypsie central during all times. If you wanna exterminate Gypsies this isn't the place for you, otherwise very nice little park. Only problem is it's next to a main street.

Beautiful park, although you may see homeless people. Not very big, but plenty of shade. Great place to rest after window shopping at GTC.

Place where you can take a break, and actually respire a bit fresh air. A small park in the centre of Skopje. This place is helping Skopje to breathe.

It's a little park, a good place to meet, as everyone knows where it is (and it's right near the city's main square).
