Quiet no traffic no buildinga peaceful

Among the best places for relaxing for the whole family. It's quiet even being close to the city. The Park is big enough for a long walk and not crowded. If you are a nature lover, autumn is enjoyable as the park is colourful. During the summer days, this place is best for relaxing with friends and getting away from the city's heat and traffic as the park has one part under forest. The park has a large open field where most of the people stay and play. There are many wooden benches with tables, also small, open, wooden "houses" with benches and tables for 10+ pleople. We enjoyed one of the tables located in the forest. Also, found a wooden tower, something like guard tower. The view from above is amazing, but wouldn't recommend it for children as it's not safe. The top level od the tower is shaking a little bit, even in a light wind.

It could be a beautiful part of Skopje if people didn’t throw rubbish everywhere. Add bins to trails or create some jobs for people to look after the park/surrounding area

Perfect park for hanging out with family and friends, or simply to walk around in nature

The biggest part in Skopje, often overlooked cause it's a bit further from the city center but on a good sunny it's THE place to be at. The only major downside is the maintenance is not frequent/good enough so there could be trash lying around from the previous weekend.

I have treaded this forest many times. There is on big meadow in the lover part of the forest and a few smaller on at the top and along the “red blocks”. There are at least 2 drinkable water taps and a few bunkers that expose the water pipes. At the top there is one watchtower. It is a very pleasant place to walk, peaceful and not very crowded. Especially enjoyable during workdays.

Great place to jogg, there is also outdoor gym and place where you can sit with great city view, everything which you need to chill out. Approved!

Woods in the middle of the city, good jogging pathways, incredible bicycle pathways and a decent place for morning and evening walks... Most of the paths have lightning

Great place, love the school field trips here but last time i came w/my school me and my friends almost died but like its whatever.

Excellent nature and fresh air in just 100 meters from the settlement Zelezara.

Very nice place for rest and spending time out for all nearby citizens. It is great for family time out, for recreational sports people, for young people to spend social time out. A lot constructed places to seat down and have chairs, tables and roof to protect you from sun or rain, but not enough cans for garbage collection. If you want to spend time in the nature, that is a good place, but you must being with you beverage or food if you are spending time there. There is no shop or place where you can buy water or coffee, or food.. Just bring your smile and adventurous spirit.🙂

Great and peaceful place

Wood in the middle of the town. Relaxation, nature, birds chirping..it is like a small holiday getaway.

Great forest in center of the city but not enough promoted or organized like New York central park. GOOD PLACE to walk and exercise with families

Quiet and nice place for take a Sunday's coffe. Small caffe available at the corner of the park.

G.Baba is always green with an immediate burst of O2 when you enter the park, more cooler weather during the summers and wide space for the kids to play and explore😁👍

Lies a few km from the city centre. How to get there: take e.g. bus 50 to the bus stop at Continental or at Merkur. I chose the first stop, then you need to go west 50-100m to be able to walk under the boulevard. It is possible to follow Arhimedova street (keep to the left where there are stairs) and then a path to the north close to Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (this path is not shown in Google Maps) This path is a little scary, you are in a forest close to a a wall and with lots of garbage. There is a hole in the wall where you get out on a wider path. It is safer from the second stop, then just walk 400m north at Makedonska Brigada 400m and then take to the left. The park: It is very empty, I thought it should be many people, fountains, possibilities to buy coffeé etc. It is more used for exercises as running, walking and biking. The man running track is about 1600m and marked every 100m. The rest are smaller paths. There is also a tomb easily found via Google Maps. Not much to see, looks very abandoned. There is a small fountain with water, close to the unsafe area with the forest. When I was there a man that seemed homeless came out of the bushes.

Gazi Baba is a great park; good for exercising or spending an afternoon with the kids around the glade. On the area closest to Aftokomanda, there are two drinkable water fountains and many picnic tables, but be aware that there are no light posts, so it might not be advisable to go there at night without a flashlight. The only complain I can make is not in regards to the park itself but to the people's behaviour there. The amount of garbage that these people leave behind is appalling. So if you can ignore the plastic bottles and bags and the other trash spread around, you will sure have a good time!

Around 3 km from the center of the city. Its accessible with car until some point. There are several entrances, depending from which side you'll come. It's a great place to run and there is space to workout and do calisthenics. There is a dog park also.
